My Fallen Angel: Chapter 19

It's the next day. Mia just walks in the door as the phone rings. Mia: Hello? Richi: It's Richi. Mia: I just walked in the door. Richi: How was church? Mia: Nothing special. I prayed for you and you know who. Richi: Did you bring the twins? Mia: Yes. They were wonderful. Richi: Ask me how the weather is if you want to know about my parents. Mia: How's the weather? Richi: It's not looking good. I think they're getting worse. Let me talk to one of the twins. Mia: I'll put you on speaker phone so you can talk to both of them. She pushes a button and calls the twins over. Twins: Richi! Richi: Hey kids. Dina: When are you and Mommy, and Daddy coming back? Richi: We don't know yet. They want you to know that they love you. Jake: We love them too! Richi: I'll tell them that. Jake: We have something to tell you when you get back though! Richi: Do you now? Dina: Yeah! It's a secret though! Richi: Heh, all right. Mia? Mia: Yeah? Richi: Can you pick the phone back up again? Mia: Sure. Richi: Ok, kids. I love you. Twins: Love you too! Mia picks the phone back up. Mia: Yes? Richi: I have something to tell you, but I can't over the phone. Mia: Ok. Richi: Tell Lyn I said hi. Mia: I will. Richi: Bye. Mia: Bye. She hangs up the phone and turns to the twins. Mia: Who's hungry? Mianna and Destiny are flying again. Destiny: Are we going to go back to the hospital? Mianna: Yes. They are now in the hospital. They're somewhat tarnsparaent. Richi is laying across a few chairs sleeping. Mianna flies over to him. Destiny (whispering): Don't wake him up. And we have to hurry. Mianna: Don't worry. She kneels by Richi. She strokes his hair. Mianna: He's in so much pain Destiny. So much... Destiny: It's his parents. Mianna: His parents? Destiny: Yes. They're dying. Mianna: There's nothing we can do? Destiny shakes her head. Mianna: I wish I could tell him. Destiny: You shouldn't. Mianna comes cloes to Richi. Destiny: Mianna! She kisses him. He opens his eyes and pulls away. Destiny disappears. Richi: Mia...? Mianna smiles and then disappears. Summer: Day 60 ^^;; Sorry it's so long. So I won't talk long. ^_^ Guess you can tell I changed the title! Hope ya'll like it! See you space cowboy... Guardian of Earth: Chapter 18

Mia and the twins are sitting in Mia's bed watching tv. The phone rings and she answers it. Mia: Hello? Richi: It's me. Mia: Richi! Jake: Richi?! Where?! Dina: I wanna talk! Mia: Shoosh! Richi: Heh, are they behaving. Mia: They're wonderful. Richi: What did you tell them? Mia gets up and walks out of the room, leaving the door open. Mia: That you went to go meet your parents somewhere. How are they? Richi: *sigh* We're not sure yet. It...It's not looking good. Mia slumps to the floor. Mia: Richi, I'm so sorry. Richi: Don't be. It looks like I'll be sleeping here in case something comes up. Mia: So you'll not be at church? Richi: Doesn't look like it. Mia? Mia: Yes? Richi: I...Damn, nevermind. I have to go. Kiss the twins goodnight for me. Mia: Of course. Richi: Bye. Mia: Bye. Richi hangs up. Mia does the same and stands up. She walks back into the room. Dina: What'd he say?! Jake: Did he have to go?! Mia: Yes, he did. He told me to kiss you goodnight. So... She kisses them and they giggle. She looks at them, smiling sadly. She sits between them on the bed again. The twins are sleeping next to each other on Mia's bed. Jake opens his eyes. He sits up and looks around. Standing at the window is Mia, with her back turned to them. Jake: Mia? There are two glowing spots on her back. Large, white wings suddenly emerge from her back. Jakes eyes are wide. He shakes Dina. She wakes up and looks at him. Without taking his eyes off Mia, Jake points to her. Dina looks and her eyes widen. The windows of Mia's room open and she flies out. Dina: Is she an Angel? Jake: I don't know. Dina: Maybe we're dreaming. Jake: I'm going to go back to sleep. Mia and Destiny are flying. Destiny: Mianna, who were those children in your room? Mianna: What children? Destiny: Nevermind. Summer: Day 59 How'd ya'll like the chapter? ^__^ Good I hope. After we finish this one I might post another story. It'll be longer but it's also another rewritten version of a previous story. "Through the Looking Glass". Some of you might remember it. It was on here a while ago. And I was thinking about changing the name of "Guardian of Earth" to "Fallen Angel" or "My Fallen Angel". What'd you guys think? ^__^ And how do you like my new theme? Inuyasha! Hehe. I was getting tired of the Fruits Basket one. Even though I really enjoyed it, I'm kinda glad tonight's the last night of VBS. We gave the spoon award we had one to one of the girls because she was so well behaved. And she was too. ^_^ I'll miss her. o.O This morning I found one of the turtles on the floor all the way out in the family room! So it crawled like thirty feet from where it is on a waist high counter! So it crawled out of it's bowl, dropped down like three feet onto tile floor, then crawled like thirty feet out to the family room and all the way to the patio door! Guardian of Earth: Chapter 17

Mia is now walking through her front door, carrying a sleeping Dina and holding a half-asleep Jake by the hand. She leads him into the kitchen. Mia: Grandma? Grandma: Mercy me! What have we here? Mia: I'll explain in a minute. Where should I put them? Grandma: Just lay them on the couch for now. Dina and Jake are now sleeping on the couch under a blanket. Grandma and Mia are in the kitchen talking. Grandma: ICU?! Mia: That's what he said. Grandma: Oh Lord help them! Mia: I've been praying. Richi's not sure when he'll be back. How long can the twins stay here? Grandma: As long as they need to. Alex suddenly pops his head into the kitchen. Alex: There are two sleeping children on the couch. Mia: They're Richi's brother and sister. Here, I'll explain. Everyone is now eating at the dinner table. Jake: Mia? Where's Richi? Dina: Yeah! We haven't seen him in a long time! Mia: Uhmm...Well... Chris: We don't know where he went. He just disappeard. Alex: Chris. Not funny. Mia: Well guys, he told me he was going to meet your parents somewhere. Dina: When will he be back? Grandma: We're not sure. ^__^ But you're welcome to stay here as long as you like. Jake and Dina: ^_^ Ok! Summer: Day 58 Poor Richi, huh? XD I'm such an evil author. And what do you guys think of me changing the title to "Fallen Angel" or "My Fallen Angel"? Well sorry for not being able to get to evryone's sites yesterday. ^_^ I went over to Saku-kun's house again! Haha. It was fun! We watched "The Wedding Singer" with Adam Sandler and Drew Berrymore and then we had a tickle fight! ^-^ It was fun. Then we went to VBS! Weeee! There was this girl there who hadn't been there since the first day - - And I now remember why I didn't miss her. She's a little annoying. And then this little boy who I think has a bad case of ADD or ADHD was really acting up. Usually we only have to tell him to stop jumping on the chairs in the sanctuary, but yestrday we had to ell him to be quiet, to behave, to stop squirting people with his squir gun (which I ended up having to take away) and to stop jumping on the chairs in the sanctuary. - - He got a bit annoying. But poor Saku-kun! We think he may be having a mono relapse. His spleen is really swollen and he said it hurt him so bad he was having problems walking. T^T Poor thing! Guardian of Earth: Chapter 16

Richi hangs up the phone. He walks back into the room. Mia looks up. Mia: W-who was it? Richi looks like he's about to be sick. Richi: The hospital. Mia: Richi, you ok? Richi: My parents...There...There's been a-a shooting... Mia: What? Richi: The car...right into a wall...There was ice...They...They're in...ICU...The doctor said...they might not... He starts to cry. Mia: Richi...? She gets up and quickly walks to him and hugs him. At first he does nothing then he hugs back. He lays his head against her shoulder, crying. Richi: What am I going to do...? Mia stokes his hair. She begins to cry herself. Mia: Shhh, Richi. Shhh... Richi pulls away and looks at her at arm's length. Richi: Take the twins. Mia: What? Richi: I have to go. He lets go of her arms and runs to the front door to get his jacket. Mia: Richi? Richi: Mia, take the twins. Please. I ask you this as a friend. Mia: But- He runs upstairs. Mia: What the hell? He runs back down the stairs, an awake twin under each arm. He drops them on the couch and runs to Mia, pulling her aside. Richi: Mia please. I have to go. I have to see my parents. Please take the twins. I don't know how long I'll be gone. Please. Mia: I will. Don't worry. They'll be fine. Richi: Thankyou! He kisses her. She blushes and then closes her eyes. He pulls away and runs out the door. He gets into his car and drives away. I won't be able to get to anyone's sites today! Sorry! See you space cowboy... Guardian of Earth: Chapter 15

They are now in the twin's room. Richi is tucking Jake into bed. Richi: There. Maybe now we can get some peace and quiet. Mia: That would be nice. They are walking down the stairs. Richi stops and looks at Mia. Richi: Mia, I know you don't want to get into this again, but...why were you crying last night? And the other day at lunch? Mia: I'm not telling you that. Richi continues down the stairs. Richi: Aww I guess Big Bad Mia doesn't want to open her heart up. Mia: Shut up you stooge. Richi flops back down on the couch. Mia does the same. Mia: It's just... Richi looks at her. Mia: Have you ever...uhmm...well... She blushes. Richi: Mia you don't really have to tell me if you don't want to. Mia looks at him still blushing a bit. She smiles. Mia: Thanks. Richi comes close. He brushes the hair out of her eyes. Richi: I truely am sorry though. They come close to kissing when the phone rings. Mia: That's your phone. Richi: I know. He sighs and gets up. He walks over to where the phone is and answers it. Richi: Hello? Mia (thinking): "Phew. That was close. But do I really like him? He makes me feel like I can be whatever I want to around him; and he won't care. And his eyes...In them I can find so much security. So much care...@.@ Oh my gosh...Do I love him?!" Summer: Day 56 Dun, dun, DUN!!! T.T Sorry I wasn't able to get to everyone's sites yesterday. - -'' My computer was acting up again. ^-^ Yesterday ws fun though! At VBS I mean. We were studying Daniel in the lion's den. It was really funny though because we had to play this game with Pastor T-san (Saku-kun's dad) and what we had to do was divide our group into two teams and string a spoon tied to yarn through our clothes (not underwear!). - - It was kinda hard for me and this other girl who was helping us because we had bras and long pants so...yeah. But the team Saku-kun and I were on did it in a minute and twenty seconds and we won the spoon award! Haha. After VBS we went to Baskin Robbins to celebrate a girl from the Youth's birthday. - - She annoys me. She's really mean and says crap behind people's backs and cheats on her boyfriend. She says a lot more crap behind ~my~ back because I'm dating Saku and she used to like him. Well screw you ya bitch! She's so mean. Guardian of Earth: Chapter 14

They are now in the living room. Mia and Lyn are holding the twins on the couch while Richi is putting in a DVD. Richi: Alright, kids. You better sit still and watch this. Or else I'll have to turn into a monster again. Lyn: @.@ What time is it? Mia: I dunno, you're the one wearing the watch. Lyn looks at her watch. Lyn: Oh my gosh! I totally and utterly forgot!! Mia: ¬ ¬ What now? Lyn: I'm supposed to pick up Vaghn from his friend's house! Gah! She hands Richi Dina and walks to the door. Lyn: I'm sorry guys! See you tomorrow at church! She walks out. Richi: Ooook. Mia: ^__^ We don't need her do we Jakie? Jake: No way! Richi sits on the couch with Dina in his lap next to Mia. Mia: Sooo, what're we watching? Dina: Only the coolest movie ever! Jake: Yeah! It's called "Kangaroo Man Meets the Bunny Lord"! Dina: I love Kangaroo Man! Mia: 'Kay... Richi: It's just a kid's movie. It's a while later and the kids are asleep. Richi turns the movie off. Richi: Sorry you had to sit through that. Mia: It's ok. ^_^ Guess I gotta get used to that kinda stuff if I wanna be a mom someday. Richi: Haha I guess so. I hate those kind of movies though. Mia: Me too. My dad used to watch them with me. When I was little. Chris would always hang out with his friends and Grandma was always working. She just recently retired. Richi: Mia, do you ever miss your mom? Mia: How can I? I don't remember her. Richi: Oh. Mia: I do have one memory of her though. Richi: You do? Mia: Uh huh. It might've been a dream though. But I remember her. She was kissing me good-bye. But what was weird was, she had wings. Like an angel. She was crying. I guess it was only a dream though if she had wings. Richi: How did she die? Mia: No one knows. Her death was an unknown cause. When I was younger though and I would ask my dad, he'd leave it at that. He'd never talk about it. Richi: I'm sorry. Mia: Don't be. Richi: You're technique is getting better. Mia: Eh? Richi: In fencing. Mia: Oh, thanks. Richi: We better get these kids into their beds. He stands up, holding Dina and walks upstairs. Mia follows holding Jake. Summer: Day 55 Hooray!! ^__^ I'm so happy!! Saturday I got a degus (pronounced day-goos)!! What is a degus you ask? ^__^ It's kinda like a giant gerbil. ^0^ He's soooooo cute! I didn't get a hairless rat because they looked kinda unhealthy...^-^ So I got him! I named him Yuki like after Yuki Sohma from Fruits Basket. And! My dad and I went to Wal-Mart and he bought me Harry Potter 6!! YAY!!! Anywho, Friday was really fun over at Saku-kun's house. ^_^ We painted. But painting the ceilings kinda hurt my neck.and then we went to see "Charley and the Chocolate Factory" with our youth group! It was soooooo good! The Oompa-loompas kinda scared me more than usual and I kinda like the old songs better. But Jonney Depp was awsome! True no one can top Gene Wilder but Jonney Depp was still pretty good. And then yesterday was church and after church I got to spend the whole day with Saku-kun! Yay! He got me "Phantom of the Opera" on DVD for our ten month anniversery (Saturday) so we watched that. And then we went to VBS (vacation Bible school)!! It was sooooo much FUN!!! Saku-kun and I were Trek leaders. See, it's Safari themed. So we had to lead our group (yellow giraffs/elephants) around the church to different areas of games, stroies, and crafts. I had a blast! ^__^ Saku-kun and I got to act like little kids! Yet still in charge. It was awsome! And all the girls in our group had a crush on Saku-kun. It was so cute. But all the kids wanted to sit next to me all the time. ^.^ I loved it! And I get to go back tomorrow! T.T But my favorite little girl's not going to be there...But that's ok! Well I'll try to get to everyone's sites and wish me luck tonight! See you space cowboy...

Guardian of Earth: Chapter 13

Mia and Lyn are now walking down a street. Lyn: So you and Richi are talking again? Mia: Yeah. Lyn: Well that took long enough! Mia: Shut up. They come to a house and up to the front door. Lyn rings the doorbell. The door opens to a panting little girl. Girl: Hi guys! Mia and Lyn smile. Mia: ^_^ Hi Dina! Is your big brother home? Richi suddenly appears and roars and scoops up a screaming/laughing Dina. Richi: ^ ^ Hey guys. Lyn: I think you scared all three of us! Richi: Haha. Come on in. I'm trying to get the twins to take a nap. Mia: Oh did we come at a bad time? Richi: ^__^ This is why I wanted you to come. Lyn: - - Great... Richi: Come on in. They do and he shuts the door. He hands Dina to Lyn. Richi: Here. Hold this. Jake is hiding. Mia: Are they always like this before a nap? Richi opens a closet door. There's nothing in it. Richi: Yeah. They are now in Richi's room. Under his bed are a pair of socked feet sticking out. He grabs them and pulls Jake out, holding him upside-down. Richi: ^_^ Got ya. Jake: Aww!! No fair! Richi: Yes fair. He hands Jake to Mia. Richi: Here. Mia: Oh lucky me. Jake: I don't need a nap! Dina: Me either! Mia: Yes you do you cranky children! The kids laugh. Richi: Hold onto them will you? I have to start their movie. Come on. They walk out of the room. Summer: Day 51 - - Ok Roman numerals are getting too hard. Well, the launch was scrubbed yesterday. But we still went to the beach. And we would've had a perfect view of it too! I mean, I could actually ~see~ the shuttle from where we were. Grrr... ^__^ But I'm happy I got to see Saku-kun. Yay! And I went skim boarding too. ^__^ Saku-kun says I'm getting really good at it. T.T I might not get my rat tonight...It's because my dad ~has~ to take my brother to football. What the hell?! He promised me!! >.< It's not fair! It seems like my brother always comes first! It just really sucks... Tomorrow I get to go over to Saku-kun's house on the mainland to help him and his parents paint. ^__^ It's going to be fun. And then after that, we get to go see "Charley and the Chocolate Factory" with our youth group! Yay! ^-^It's going to be fun! The quote of the day is: "It just reminds me of male ballarinas. Guardian of Earth: Chapter 12

Mia is now getting into bed. She looks up at her ceiling. There is a knock at her window. She sits up. She gets out of bed and walks over to the window. She opens it and looks out. Richi is standing on her driveway. Mia: What do you want? Richi: I need to talk to you. Mia: I'm listening. Richi: No I mean down here. I don't want to wake anyone. Mia: Fine I'll be right down. We now see Mia walking out the door with a robe on over her p.j.'s. She closes the door behind her. Mia: Ok I'm here. Richi: Nice p.j.'s. Mia: Shut up. What do you want? Richi: I'm sorry I made Jess cry. Mia: You shouldn't be the one apologizing. Richi: But I don't like this. Mia: Like what? Richi: I don't like us not talking. ... Richi: Mia. Please. I'll go out with her if that'll make you happy. I just want my best friend talking to me. Mia: You don't...have to go out with her. Richi: Then what is it? Mia starts to cry a little. Mia: It's just... ... Mia wipes her tears away and smiles. Mia: Nevermind. I'm sorry. Richi: So we're cool now? Mia: Yeah. He hugs her. She blushes. Mia (thinking): "No, no, no! I'm not supposed to be feeling like this! He's my friend. One of my best friends. I can't lose him! But he's so warm. And he smells good...No!" She pulls away. Mia: ^_^;; Well I better be getting back now. Destiny suddenly appears from behind the house. She stops short when she sees Mia and Richi. Destiny: Yikes! Why isn't she asleep yet?! Oh the Boss Man's going to have my neck if they see me! She flies back behind the house. Richi looks up. Richi: Did you hear something? Mia: Uh...No. Richi: Whatever. I'll see you tomorrow maybe? If you and Lyn want to come over. I have to baby-sit again. Mia: Sure. See you then. They turn and go their seperate ways. Summer: Day XXXXX A historical day! Yay! Yes, today is the day that NASA relaunches the shuttle. ^__^ And I get to watch it at the beach! w00t! Saku-kun's (a.k.a. S-kun [ChibiIchigo came up with it and I thought it was cute]) family to the beach to hang out for a bit. Yay! Well that's about it because my brother's giving me grief for being on the computer. Guardian of Earth: Chapter 11

Mia and Lyn are in class. Mia looks at Richi. He glances at her and she looks away. Lyn: What is with you? Mia: What? Lyn: This whole Richi thing. It's getting on my nerves. Mia: It's not your problem. Lyn: But I hate you two not talking! Would you just get over it? A woman is holding a clip board. She looks at it and then looks at the class again. Woman: Richi I know you just dueled James but I need you one more time today. Mia and Richi will duel. Mia: - - Great. She puts on her helmet and stands in postion. Richi faces her. Woman: And go! Mia charges and Richi blocks. Richi: Calm down! Mia: You hurt one of my friends! Richi: I didn't mean to! Mia: Just shut up and fight! Richi: Mia I need to talk to you. Mia: Talk to Lyn. She seems to like you! Richi: Mia! Knock it off! He jabs her in the chest with his sword. Richi: Ungaurd. Woman: Bravo! Bravo both of you. Alright next up will be... Richi puts his sword down and takes his helmet off. Mia turns away and does the same. Richi: Mia, I want to talk to you. Mia walks away. Summer: Day XXXXIX - - Soory I wasn't able to get to everyone's sites yesterday. My computer kept screwing up. I think it's because of the hurricane. Well this weekend, we drove up to this really big mall in the middle of the state. It sucked. There were absolutely no good stores! And no book store! How terrible! But there were a few cool home furnishing stores. ^__^ I saw some cool ideas. Then we drove to another huge mall. This had some better stores. At least it had a book store. ^__^ I got Fruits Basket 7! Yay! And I have never seen so many mangas in one setting! There were like four, super tall, book shelves jammed with mangas! - - Yesterday I had rehersals. T^T Murder! Gah! But! We now have a website which you can check us out and everything and get an idea of what we're doing. And I'm getting a rat! Hopefully soon. ^__^ I'm going to name it Yuki! Like from Fruits Basket! Guardian of Earth: Chapter 10

We now see Mia walk into her house. Her grandmother walks out of the kitchen. Grandma: Mianna? Is something wrong? Mia: I'm fine Grandma. I have a project to start. I'll be up in my room. She is now in her room practicing her cello. Her phone rings. She picks it up. Mia: Hello? Voice: Hello, Katrina. Mia: Uh...I think you have the wrong number. Voice: I don't think so, Katrina Gearing. How long has it been? Mia: Um... Voice: Do you not remember me? You might not after that fall of yours. Listen my love, I want you to meet me somewhere. You know where I mean. The last place we said good-bye? I left you in quite a mess, Katrina. Meet me tonight. The phone goes dead. Mia hangs it up. Mia walks out of her room. We now see her walking down the stairs. Her dad comes in the house. He looks up when he sees Mia. Alex: Hi honey. Smells like dinner's almost done. Mia nods. Her dad walks into the kitchen. Alex: Hey, Mom. What're we having? Mia (thinking): "Are they hiding something from me? All of them? Should I ask about the phone call? He didn't leave a name...His voice sounded so familier...Maybe I should ask Chris..." She walks back up the stairs. She is now infront of a door. She knocks and then opens it and sticks her head in. Mia: Chris? He is sitting at his desk doing homework. Chris: Yeah? Mia: I need to talk to you. She walks in the room and shuts the door. Chris: If you're pregnant, go ask Dad. He's the doctor. Mia: That's...not it. And why would I be pregnant?! Chris: Heh, sorry. Mia: It's...it's about Mom. Chris turns to her. Chris: What about Mom? Mia: I just got a phone call. He asked for Katrina Gearing. Chris: What did you tell him? Mia: He thought I was Katrina. Then I said he had the wrong number. Then he just kept talking like I was her. I couldn't tell him she was dead. Chris: It was a man? Mia nods. Mia: He called her his "love". Chris was Mom cheating on Dad? Chris: Mia, no. She wasn't. She loved Dad more than anything. Until we were born, heh. He was an old flame. A very old flame. Mia: He wanted her to meet him. At...the last place they said good-bye? Chris: Just don't worry about it.
