Through the Looking Glass (Part 8)
We see everybody in the dinning room at the table. Enid and Daedalus are at either end of the table. Llyr and Iris are sitting on the sides. The extra chair is pulled up for Kitty. She is sitting in between Iris and Enid. There is a plate of breaded chicken in the middle of the table with bowels of veggetables in them. There is also a piture of water on the table. They start toi eat.
Enid: So, Kitty. Tell us about yourself.
Kitty: Not much to say, really. I don't lead the most exciting life.
Enid: Oh. Well, what do you like to do?
Kitty: Well I'm in a fencing club at scholl.
Llyr: What's fencing?
Kitty: It's...um...
Kitty looks around the room. She sees the sword on the table.
Kitty: It's like sword fighting.
Enid: Oh really? Daedalus here is very well with a sword, too. Isn't that right, Daedalus?
Daedalus blushes a little and nods. He holds his fork with his right hand to cut his chicken. Kitty sees his bandaged hand.
Kitty: Um, Daedalus?
Daedalus looks up.
Kitty: What did you do to your hand?
Enid looks at him and Daedalus quickly glances at everyone.
Daedalus: It's...uh...it's my whole arm, really. It's nothing. I don't really want to talk about it.
Kitty: Oh. Alright.
Enid pours herself some more water. She looks in the piture.
Enid: Llyr, dear, can we have some more water please?
Llyr: Yes Mother.
Llyr looks at the piture and more water forms.
Enid: Kitty will you pour Iris some more water, please?
Kitty:...Sure.
Enid hands Kitty the piture and Kitty pours Iris some water and puts the piture down on the table.
Kitty: How'd she...?
Enid: She's a water elf. Just like her father.
Kitty: Oh...right. Does Iris have an element?
Enid: She's not ten yet.
Iris: Yeah! I'm only six.
Kitty smiles and turns to Iris.
Kitty: Well what element do you want to have?
Iris: I want to be a forst elf!
She points to Enid.
Iris: Just like Mother!
Enid: We'll see when you turn ten, love.
Kitty: So Llyr, how old are you?
Llyr: I'm twelve.
Kitty: Oh.
She smiles.
Kitty: You're going to be a very beautiful young lady. I can tell.
Llyr blushes.
Llyr: Thank you.
Iris: Mother? I'm done.
Enid: Well go wash up and I'll put you to bed.
Iris: Ok. Good night everyone! Good night, Uncle Daedalus.
Iris hugs Daedalus.
Daedalus: Good night.
Iris walks down the hall. Enid gets up with her plate and glass. Kitty does the same.
Enid: Oh don't worry, dear. I'll get it.
Kitty: Oh, alright.
Daedalus gets up and walks past Enid and Kitty.
Daedalus: Dinner was good.
He walks through the door to the sitting room and closes the door.
Kitty: Is he always like that?
Enid: I'm afraid he is.
Llyr: I'm going to bed too, Mother.
Enid: Alright, dear. I'll be in in a minute.
Llyr gets up and walks down the hall same as Iris.
Enid: Why don't you go in the sitting room and make yourself comfertable. I'll clean up in here.
Kitty: Oh, well, alright.
Kitty walks through the door into the living room and closes it behind her.

Gah!!! I have the worst writers block!! For both stories! I've already written a lot for this one but Memories is a different story! I can't get past it! If I do it sounds really stupid so I stop and redo it! What's with all the exclamation points?! lol Well, I got to play capture the flag again. ^ ^ With Sam. I also went over to his house to go swimming. It was a lot of fun. - - I got burned. And my mom got pissed at me for it. Gah...That's about it. And the morale for the day is: If you're playing capture the flag, be able to tell apart your team members. See you space cowboy...
