Through the Looking Glass (Part 12)
Still holding Osin's reins, Daedalus turns around and rides twords the left side of the fork.
Daedalus: Kitty! Kitty where are you?!
Kitty: I'm...here.
Daedalus stops and dismounts. He then ties both horses to a tree branch. He unsheaths his sword and walks into the woods.
Daedalus: Where?
Kitty:...Over here.
Daedalus turns to the right and sees Kitty. He lowers his sword.
Daedalus: What are you trying to pull?!
Kitty starts to cry.
Kitty: No...
A sword comes to Kitty's throat. A man appears holding Kitty's arms behind her.
man: One more move and she gets it.
Daedalus: Let her go.
Daedalus raises his sword.
man: Where is she?
Daedalus: Let her go.
man: Where is the ice princess?!
Kitty sees a glint of something on the ground. Daedalus disappears and then reappears behind the man. He grabs the man's neck.
Daedalus: I said let her go.
Daedalus's hand begins to glow like fire. A firery aura forms around him. The man pushes Kitty to the ground.
Daedalus: Kitty, move.
Kitty grabs the thing she saw on the ground, stands up, and quickly backs away. Daedalus pushes the man to the ground and puts his sword to the man's throat.
Daedalus: What do you want?
The man smiles evily and disappears in a black cloud. Daedalus sheaths his sword and walks over to Kitty who is looking at the thing she found. It is crystal like with a lightblue tint to it. It looks like a peice of an icicle.
Daedalus: *sigh* You alright?
Kitty:...Yes. Daedalus? Do you know what this is?
She holds the shard up.
Daedalus: Let me see that.
He grabs her wrist and looks at the shard.
Daedalus: Where did you find this?
Kitty: O-over there.
She points to where she found it.
Kitty: What is it?
Daedalus: Come on.
Still holding her wrist, they walk out of the woods.
Kitty: Um, Daedalus? You wanna let go of my wrist now?
Daedalus blushes.
Daedalus: Sorry. Put that in your pocket.
She does. They come to the horses. Daedalus unties them and they mount. They come to the fork and turn down the other side.
Kitty: Um, where are we going?
Daedalus: We're going to need some help.

*listens to ACDC* Kinda short today. ^ ^; But you did get to see a little bit of action by Daedalus today. Yay Daedalus! My mom took us shopping yesterday. Clothes shopping. I'm not really the one to clothes shop. Especially when I don't see any of the clothes I like. Primarily dark colors. Earth tones. I'm not one for big bright colors and skimpy clothes. Like those four-inch mini skirts. I'm not trying to insult anybody! But that sort of look is way not me. Just ask any of my friends. I like to dress consrervitaly. Somewhat loose fitting clothes. When we go to the mall, I ask my mom if I can go into Hot Topic. If there's not one in your mall it's a punk/goth/rock store. Lots of black and Earth tones. ^ ^ That is my happy place. Yay Hot Topic! I like how they have all this old video game and movie shirts. They also have a lot of shirts from a lot of the bands I like. Oh my God. One of my favorite bands, Jet, was playing at a place kinda close to my house (close being a few counties away)last weekend! I had no idea! I don't listen to the radio or watch MTV!! Gah! I was so pissed off! T^T I really wanted to see Jet. And the moral for today is: If one of your friend's or family member's favorite band is in town, and it's a day or two after the leave, and your friend or family member had no idea they were even in town, don't tell them they ever were. This goes for my mom. She's the one that told me. Now if you'll excuse me, I must go take a shower. See you space cowboy...
