Through the Looking Glass (Part 23)

Lycurgus: Oh you've got to be kidding me!
Aino: What?
Lycurgus: Look.
He jerks his thumb at Daedalus who is sleeping while riding Aglaia.
Aino: He just woke up not even an hour ago! How can he sleep that much?
Lycurgus: What I'd like to know is how can he fall asleep sitting straight up on a horse? I'm going to go wake him up.
He stands up on Osin's back. Osin snorts and starts trotting quickly.
Aino: No, Lycurgus, let him sleep. Hey! Osin calm down!
A low branch passes overe Aino's head and smacks Lycurgus. He falls off of Osin and lands on the ground on his back. Aino stops Osin and looks back at him.
Lycurgus: OW!! DAMMIT!!
Daedalus slowly opens his eyes.
Daedalus: Something's coming.
He unsheaths his sword and stops Aglaia. Aino and Lycurguys look back at him.
Aino (whispering): Is he still alsleep?
Daedalus sheaths his sword.
Daedalus: Oh nevermind. It's just a little demon.
He closes his eyes and goes back to sleep. A rabbit runs across the path. It runs into the woods. A small demon about the size of a midsized dog runs across the path. It looks like the cross between a tiger and a dog. It stops and looks at the party. Lycurgus growls at it and it contiues running.
Aino: What'd you do that for?
Lycurgus: Because it was a demon! Who knows what it could've done?!
Aino: Uh huh.
Osin starts to move again. Lycurgus grabs Aglaia's reins and she starts to move. Still holding Aglaia's reins, he hops on Osin's back. We now see them come to a small building. Aino stops Osin and Lycurgus jumps down. He stops Aglaia. Aino dismounts. Daedalus is still sleeping.
Aino: This it?
Lycurgus: Yup. This is the headquaters for the AFE. Hey come on. Wake up!
Aino ties Osin to a post and walks over. She touches Daeadalus's arm and starts to shke him lightly.
Aino: Daedalus? Daedalus come on. We're here.
Daedalus opens his eyes. He looks down at Aino.
Daedalus: We're here...? Already?
Aino: ^ ^ Yeah. Come on sleepy head.
She walks back over to Osin and unties some of the bags. Daedalus dismounts. He ties Aglaia to the post and they all walk inside.

Sorry that they've been so short lately. Hopefull when school starts I can post. - - Gah...The horror begins Tuesday. Blah. Registration begins today. Hopefully I wont see this kid, who is a really good freind, today. He's in love with me or something. It's really kinda creepy. He's nice and everything, but...he doesn't have the best choice in lifestyles. I went to this beach party thing on Friday for school and he was there and later that night I was talking to my friend and she said that if I had left my friends or mom, he would've asked me out. *shivers* I've already turned him down once. What makes him think I'd want to go out with him now?! Hopefull I won't see him. But if I do, I made my friends promise not to leave me lol. And the moral for today is: Don't print out large pictures (say, human Inuyasha) and then show them to your father. He'll get a little pissed off. See you space cowboy...
P.S. Don't ask me how I did the smily face thing.
