Through the Looking Glass (Part 25)
The party finds themselves in a dark hallway.
Aino: Why is it so dark in here?
Daedalus: Don't move. The stairs are really steep.
Lycurgus: Yeah wouldn't want you falling and killing yourself. Would we?
Daedalus's hand begins to glow so it dimly lights the area around them. They begin to slowly walk down the stairs.
Aino: Am I even supposed to be down here?
Daedalus: Adonis didn't object to anything yesterday.
Lycurgus: Yeah so as far as we're concerned, ^ ^ You're an agent.
Daedalus: Besides we can't leave you alone either.
Lycurgus hugs Aino.
Lycurgus: Yes who knows what will happen to our little princess.
Daedalus: Will you keep it down? People upstairs might here us.
A light appears form under a door. They walk up to it. Daedalus opens the door. They are now in a brightly lit room. There are elves and other creatures walking around. They walk to a desk where a woman is sitting.
Daedalus: We're here to see-
The woman holds up her finger.
woman: Wait.
She's looking down at a cup of water with a spoon in it. The spoon begins to move stirring the water.
woman: Look! Look I did it! Yay! I am the all powerful wind elemental!
Daedalus: Um, uh, that's very nice.
Lycurgus: Are you going to let us see the boss man, or not?
woman: Fine. She rings a bell on her desk and a bat like creature flies over.
bat thing: Greetings. Follow me please.
It flies slowly in the direction which it came and the party follows it. A woman runs up and hugs Lycurgus.
woman: Oh Lycurgus! Where have you beeen! I was so worried about yooooouu!
Lycurgus: Anthea?
Anthea: Where have you beeen, Lycurgus?!
Daedalus: Heh, have a little girl friend there, Lycurgus?
Lycurgus: Shut up.
Anthea: *gasp* Lycurgus! You've been drinking again!
Lycurgus: It was only two drinks! And who are you my mother?!
bat thing: May we continue, please?
Aino and Daedalus begin walking again.
Lycurgus: Anthea I have to go.
Anthea: Don't leave meeee!
Lycurgus: I have to go.
He begins walking again.
Anthea: I love yooooouu!!
Lycurgus puts his hand abouve his forhead so people wont recognize him.
Aino: *snicker* What was that about?
Lycurgus: - - Nothing.
They come to a platform and stand on it. A large number of elves and small creatures suddenly pile on it. It moves down. They pass four floors. It stops on the fifth floor. Everyone on the platform walks out. The bat thing leads them down a hall. There is a small waiting room with chairs and a table.
bat thing: Wait here.
It flies over to a small hallway and knocks on the door at the end of it. It pokes its head in, brings it back out, and then closes the door. It flies back to the party.
bat thing: You may see him now.

^ ^;; Sorry I didn't post all weekend. - - We were busy. Well at least I was. I was celebrating my LAST WEEKEND OF SUMMER!!! T^T I don't want to go back to school yet! I'm having too much fun doing nothing! - - Oh well...T^T Today is the last official day of summer for me. - - Then it's school time frolics. Right. Frolics. Well I got my schedual. I didn't get art! What the hell?! I was so pissed off! Grr...- - I have to be at school by 7:15 AM. Gah! How am I supposed to function?! I can't even function right at 12:00 noon! Well at least I know I got some classes with my friends. But oh, the horror of Spanish at 7:30 in the morning! ^ ^ Well I didn't see that kid I was talking about at registration. I was glad. Plus my mom went with me so, yeah. = = So tired...And the moral for today is: Don't go to sleep with your hair tied up. = = You can't fall asleep. See you space cowboy...
