Through the Looking Glass (Part 43)
We see Daedalus, Aino still holding Damon, Lycurgus, and Haiku all sitting at the table in the kitchen.
Daedalus: I'm guessing you're a Lightning Elf by your eyes.
Haiku: Yes.
Daedalus: So you're not Dark. SO I suppose we can confide in you.
Lycurgus: And you're an A.F.E. agent after all.
Daedalus: Yes, there's that too. *sigh* We are on a misson for the A.F.E. to collect the shards of the shattered Ice Sword.
Haiku: You serious?
Daedalus nods.
Daedalus: We've gotten wind that the Dark Army is trying to restore the Ice Sword.
Haiku: But they can't! Not without the Ice Princess. And she's been dead for over twelve years!
Aino: What?
Haiku: You didn't know she's dead?
Aino: No the other thing.
Haiku: The Ice Princess is the key to the Ice Sword. It is said that if any of the element swords were to be shattered, the youngest of that element's royal family was to restore it and that they hold the key to restoring their element sword around their neck and they can proclaim whomever they feel worthy, to weild their sword. In this case, the Ice Princess.
Aino puts her hand to where her necklace is under her shirt. Daedalus looks at her sorrowfully as she replays the scene with Mr. Wood harassing her about the necklace. Damon begins to cry. Haiku takes him from Aino and stands up.
Aino: Is he alright?
Haiku: He's just hungry.
He stops crying as she walks over to the counter next to the stove and picks up a bottle and gives it to Damon.
Aino: What if another posesses the key? Could ~they~ restore the sword and use it for themselves?
Daedalus gasps and turns to Lycurgus.
Daedalus: Lycurgus did you tell Orestes where we are?
Lycurgus: Yes why wouldn't I?
Haiku walksback over.
Haiku: Wow, Orestes. Haven't seen him in a while.
Daedalus slams his fist on the table.
Daedalus: Dammit! How could I have been so stupid?!
Damon begins to cry again and Haiku tries to hush him.
Lycurgus: What's gotten into you?
Daedalus: Orestes wants the key! He wants Aino!
Haiku: The Ice Princess? But she's-
Aino: Right here.
Haiku: What?
Daedalus: Dammit. He must be working for the Dark Army. I should've sensed it. No wonder that Dark Agent found us.

^__^;; Heh heh...Sorry about yesterday peoples. But how did you like the novel thing I'm writing? It's not going to be posted anually like my other stories. But if you would like to read more, PM me. That's my mom's address so I wont get it anytime soon. ^___^ My hair is so curly!! *plays with curls* I finally let it dry naturally and put a bit of gel in it and it's so so so SOOO CURLY!!! *Inuyasha appears*
Inuyasha: Whoa.
me: What?
Inuyasha: Your hair.
*Yumi appears*
Yumi: Jinku your hair is so so so SOOO pretty!
me: ^__^ Thanks. Weeeee! ^0^ Look at me I'm Shirly Temple!! Hehe. So the moral for the day is: Journalism eats it!!
Inuyasha: Well that was random.
me: ^ ^ Hehe I know.
Inuyasha: I think the curls went to her head.
me: Hey Yumi where's Mioga?
Yumi: Uh...Oh! The phone! *runs off*
me: Ooook.
Inuyasha: I didn't hear the phone.
me: Wow. Way to go Captain Obvious. See you space cowboy...
