Through the Looking Glass (Part 44)
We see Orestes writing at his desk. There is a beeping sound. He looks up then down at his desk drawer. He opens the drawer and pulls out a duplicate to the mirror he gave Lycurgus.
Orestes: Yes?
Daedalus' face appears in the mirror.
Orestes: Ah, Daedalus. Did you find another shard?
Daedalus: Not yet, but we're close. I need to speak with my sister about a private issue.
Orestes: Yes I will send for her. She will be here tomorrow.
Daedalus: Thank you, sir. Oh, and we're going to make this our permanent camp for the time being.
Orestes: I see.
Daedalus: Aino senses many shards around the castle.
Orestes: Oh! That's good! Yes I will send for Enid right away.
Daedalus bows his head.
Daedalus: Thank you, sir.
He disappears. Orestes puts the mirror away. He takes out a larger mirror and places it on his desk.
Orestes: Adonis.
Adonis' face appears in the mirror.
Adonis: Sir?
Orestes: Send for Enid, Daedalus' sister.
Adonis bows his head.
Adonis: Yes sir.
He disappears. Orestes puts the mirror away.
Orestes: Hahaha...Hahahahahahahahaha!!!
It is night. Riders in black are approaching the castle.
leader: Search every room in the castle!
The group splits up as they ride into the castle. Another rider rides up to the leader.
man: Sir we can't find them.
leader: They have to be here. Keep looking!
The leader rides into the parlor.
Leader: He said they would be here.
The fire is out. The house of cards is still on the table and the packs are gone. Another man rides up.
rider #2: Sir they are nowhere to be found.
The leader unsheathes his sword and slashes the house of cards.
Leader: Damn them!
Through the Looking Glass Part 44-End

Sorry can't talk long. I'll try to get to everyone's sites today! Ok, listen. My friend A-chan's boyfriend C-kun is really, REALLY sick. He's having digestive system problems. Please pray for him. I know you don't know him but it would mean a lot to us. Please. See you space cowboy...
