Through the Looking Glass (Part 45)
We again see Orestes writing at his desk. There is a knock on the door.
Orestes: Yes?
The door opens and Enid walks in.
Enid: You wanted to see me, sir?
Orestes: Daedalus did. Said something about a private issue.
He opens the desk drawer and takes out the small mirror. He walks over to Enid and hands her the mirror.
Orestes. Here. Say his name into the mirror and you will be able to contact him. You may step outside to speak with him.
He opens the door. Enid nods and steps out. He closes the door behind her. Enid looks down at the mirror.
Enid: Daedalus.
Lycurgus' face appears.
Lycurgus: Hey Enid!
a voice from the mirror: Enid? Give me the mirror.
Lycurgus: Alright, alright hold on. Here's Daedalus.
Daedalus: Hey.
Enid: Is everything ok?!
Daedalus: Yes. (whispers) Now I need you to keep your voice down. Enid, Orestes is working for the Dark Army.
Enid: What?!
Daedalus: Shh!!
Enid (whispers): Sorry. How do you know?
Daedalus (" "): Nevermind that. We were at the Ice Castle but after we found out about Orestes, we left fearing an attack. We were right. They did last night. Orestes still thinks we're here as far as I know.
Enid (" "): Where are you now?
Daedalus (" "): On the road to Surphichus. Aino has found a couple of shards. We have about ten.
Enid (" "): Good!
Daedalus (" "): Yes. Enid, I need you to meet us here. Take the girls. I fear the Dark Army may attack our house. It would be better if you were to not take a cab. Do you understand?
Enid (" "): Yes.
Daedalus (" "): Did Harmonia foal yet?
Enid (" "): Yes it's a colt.
Daedalus (" "): Take he wagon and get out of there as soon as possible. Meet us in Surphichus. We'll be staying at the Turtle Shack Inn. And don't mention this to Orestes or any one else. Not a word. Alright?
Enid (" "): Yes.
Daedalus (" "): Good. Take care.
He disappears.
Enid: - - *sigh*
Daedalus appears in the mirror again.
Daedalus: One more thing.
Enid: Ack! You scared me. What?
Daedalus: Take this, and run.

^__^ This reminds me of Inuyasha and Yumi. Hehe!Sorry I didn't post yesterday. My head reeeeally hurt. ^__^ So I cuddled on the couch with S-kun and watched tv. He "was sick" yesterday so he came to my school and ate luch with me! Yay! Hehe. 'Twas fun. Gah...T^T My eye hurts! See, I was rubbing it just a few minutes agon and I thought my contact fell out so I went to go get a new one. Well, when I put it in, the contact I thought fell out, fell out! So I was like Dammit! So I put it in a spare case. Damn things. I hate contacts sometimes. But in the long run, they are ~much~ better than glasses! Cheaper too. Yay for contacts! Ok well I should go.
*Inuyasha pokes my eye*
me: OW!! What the hell?!
Inuyasha: I want it to fall out again!
Yumi: *smacks Inuyasha upside the head* Inuyasha! That was mean!
Inuyasha: *jumps in a tree* Nya nya!!
Yumi: Grrrr! *jumps up after him*
me: *watching them* See, told ya. Anyways, the moral for the day is: Dress warmly!! See you space cowboy...
