   Memories of an Angel (Part 11)
(((all standingf outside waiting for Chris to pick them up/Richi has ice pack on his lip)
Todd: So what'd you say when the nurse asked you where you got that fat lip?
Richi: That I was pushed into a wall.
Lyn: Did she believe it?
Richi: I hope so.
Mia: My dad can't take us to the game. Chris is.
Lyn: Is he working 'again'?
Mia: Yeah. Seems like he always is isn't it?
(Chris pulls up/everybody climbs in van)
Chris: Hey guys. Richi what happened?
Todd: He got into a fight at school.
Chris: What?
Richi: This guy said some stuff that pissed me off so I shoved him, pretty hard too, and he slugged me back.
Chris: It's not like you to fight over something somebody said.
Mia: That's exactly what I said.
Chris: So who were you fighting with?
Richi: That jerk Kyle on the baseball team. Ow. He's the one who started it. Ow. Todd? Can you tell the rest? My lip hurts like hell.
Todd: Sure. So we're walking to lunch and Kyle just starts hitting Richi with insults. Stupid ones too. But then he got really mean and nasty about it. Then he insulted Mi-(Richi glares at him)-'me' and a whole lot of other people and Richi just went of on him. he pushed the jerk on the ground, and then like the coward he is, Kyle slugged him right back while his back was turned.
Lyn: What a jerk
Mia: So initaially, you really didn't want to fight?
Richi:(nodds head) Mmm hmm.
Mia: Well that's good. It takes more courage to walk away than it does to start a fight.
Lyn: So you're taking us to the game tomorrow, Chris.
Chris: Yeah. Listen, I have to go to work now so I'll drop you guys off at our house ok?
(everbody nodds head)
Chris: Ok get out.
Mia: Nice, Chris. (everybody climbs out of van)
Todd: He was wearing a tie! He's not going to work!
Mia: Well at least he didn't make us walk all the way home. We only have a block to go. (start walking)
Lyn: Whoever his date it, she has good taste.(all stop and look at her) What?
Mia: Are you saying that you're actually over Chris?
Lyn: I guess.
Richi: Holy crap!
(Todd feels Lyn's forhead)
Todd: Nope she doesn't have a fever.
Lyn: Shut up Todd. (all start walking again)
Mia: So what made you change your mind?
Lyn: I don't know. Probably what you said yesterday.
Mia: Ok...Grandma's home! Yes now I can ask her about the puppy!
(all walk up to front door)

^ ^ Isn't A Knight's Tale the best movie ever? ^ ^ And Heath Ledger is my all time favorite actor. I know all about him! - - I'm such an obsessor. But who couldn't obsess over that toe curling hottie? Now that my babbling is done, ^ ^ COMMENTS PLEASE! See you space cowboy...
