Questions
< And no answers...
Why?
It's the question that sits heavily on people's mind in the wake of yesterday, last year, and 2001, as more innocent people lose thier lives in war that shouldn't be fought in the first place.
Maybe, just maybe there's some truth somewhere. Just maybe, for once, we as a people could bind together and demand the truth.
I realize that, something like this, could in reality, never happen, because, the nation that was built so gravely in 1776 under the conditions, despite the consequences, has lost its once grandious luster.
The USA was founded to break away from Religion in politics, and look what's going on today. We strut religion around like it's the most important thing in life.
And I'm not saying that every person in America is like this, but there's enough, that stuff like that can be said with good reason.
Maybe, I'm just looking at it with a "slanted" perspective.
Another point, is that of viewpoints. Al-Qaeda is doing what they see is the right thing, as is the US. So, who in the end is the "good" guy and who's the "bad" guy? Can we really say?
Bush made comments from the G8 summit about how with our ideologies of hope and comfort,we can (insert a verb that means something around destroy) their ideologies of hate and fear." And then from what I read he also said, "The contrast between what we've seen on the TV screens here, what's taking place in London and what's taking place here, is incredibly vivid to me. On the one hand, you've got people here who are working to alleviate poverty, to help rid the world of the pandemic of AIDS, and working on ways to have a clean environment. On the other hand, you've got people killing innocent people."
^ Today's humor. Check for all the grammer errors. I counted two. How many can you find? ^___^
Me on you
Strawberries: Muu. *huuguu*
Sis: I hope you're more informed by now...
PIC: The timeframe is interesting. 2001/2004/2005 The USA, Spain, England. Who's next? Italy? Germany? I'm seeing a pattern. |
