Nathan Jonas Jordison (born on April 26, 1976 in Des Moines, Iowa) more commonly known as Joey Jordison, is an American drummer and guitarist. He is best known for his role as the drummer for alternative metal band Slipknot during the 1990s and 2000s as well as substituing for John Dolmayan during a System Of A Down concert October 31st, 2001. He is also well known as the guitarist for Murderdolls, a glam metal/horror punk band which he founded in the 2000s, that is currently on indefinate hiatus due to the Murderdolls' members' side projects.
