I stare at the door
that you walked through before
it closed I tried to say
but no sound came out as away
you turned and my heart broke
if only I could have found my voice and spoke
maybe you wouldn't have gone
but now I just stare all along
hoping you come back through the door
so that my heart won't feel this sore
I realize now that without you I'd be lost
I'd fight for you no matter the cost

even though this may truely seem
to be a little extreme
I just can't live without you
