Went to my Grandparents' house (mom's side) today for our annual Christmas party. I got a nice Christmas throw from my cousin Joe and his girlfriend Jen. It's really cute :)
I seriously adore my cousin's daughter (which isn't really a surprise)! She really likes me too. I don't see her that much, but every time I do, she's never shy around me like she is with everyone else. I think it's because I look very similar to her mother, plus I like to play with her.
In the afternoon, before supper, I was studying in the living room upstairs (everyone else was in the family room downstairs) while Lexie (my cousin's adorable daughter) was sleeping beside me on the couch. She woke up one time, looked over at me
and fell off the couch.
She scared me so much!
I caught her after she let out a small cry and clutched her tightly to my chest. I was so scared. I smoothed the hair on her head, cooing to her softly, and rubbed her back gently, asking her if she was okay.
She replied softly with a "Yeah" as I curled up on the couch with her (my back was facing the edge of the couch) and she immediately fell back asleep in my arms, lol. So cute. I had mom come and take a picture of us, lol. So when I get the film developed, I'm going to post it right away.
Lexie had a cold today too, so I hope I don't catch that before I write my last exam on Thursday, lol.
But I had fun. I really love playing with that little girl. She's so cute. I hope I have a daughter who is as cute as she is. XD
