Gray is for lazy people.
Ugh, I'm finally uploading a new song after days of struggle with filetypes and uploaders. Under the circumstances, I've been forced to use I'm Not Driving Anymore instead of Clubbed to Death. But that's ok because everyone's heard Clubbed to Death before, anyway. =P

Erm...
Apparently, I was misinformed about what the date at the time was last time I posted. My birthday is tomorrow, not today. Try again.

You're traveling through another dimension...
Well, tomorrow's my birthday, but yesterday we had a family party-type thing where I got to open some presents from the fam. The best one is, by a long shot, the Twilight Zone Collection 2 DVD set. Freaking awesome.
So yeah, that just means that you guys may not hear from me for quite a while again. =P
EDIT: Oh yeah, and happy Easter or whatever.

My head a splode.
Ugh. This layout is killing me. I'd make those table borders thinner, but for some reason I couldn't with the inside ones, so I just made the outside border match it. I can't seem to get the song uploaded, and the site I use to upload songs isn't working. So it's still Hum, for now.
And I still don't know what to do with the rest of the site. Egh.

Aqua-Teen Hunger Force is absolutely hilarious, as I learned this week at my brother's apartment. I think I'll see if I can find some episodes on the 'net.

Phtoom-Bang!
Well, today is the first day of Spring Break, and I'm going to be heading off to Ruston soon today. I'll be there for several days, I don't know how many exactly and I don't feel compelled to find out right now because I feel like crap. X(
Until then, au revoir.

Apparently, obnoxious banners that make noise weren't enough. Now, the advertisers must screw over the layout, also! *sigh* I can vividly picture the day when we have popups on our cellphones. And it won't be too far away, either.
[present matters]Excellency! We will be leaving this hellhole this summer; enough time to not get in the way of anything (the play, for instance), but fast enough that my IQ could recover from my stay here in a matter of decades! Additionally, the company my dad works for will be keeping him and putting him at another university somewhere. We could be doing food service in Philly! Oh, delight![/present matters]

They said bunnies couldn't flie...
Heh, that last post died and went to hell. I don't mind, though, as long as I'm able to get my ideas out of my head somewhere every once in a while.
Well, my dad was supposed to find out just what the crap is going to happen to his job today, but he never got word from his boss.
Also, I am thinking of naming one of the kittens Harvey or Bub, but I'm not particularly leaning towards either.
And that is all.

All entertainers come original
I think I have a few different things to talk about now, so I'll try to type fast, lest I forget anything.
1. The situation at the university sucks. It's a pretty sealed deal that they're going to ask my dad's company to move him out. Once again, I must emphasize that it's really not his fault (even the university's starting to agree with this), but that there's simply not enough money for Dad's company, Chartwells, to gain anything here.
2. We still haven't got any names for the kittens. There's two girls and a guy. Name them.
3. About the website that I talked about wanting to make a long time ago: it's becoming more of a (very remote) possibility than a dream now. There are still things that I need to work out about it, but when I shimmy off to college in four years, and I'm able to pay for it and have the time to do it, I really think I could pull it off.
However, I do think I'm gonna have to cancel the idea of it scrolling sideways. That would simply exceed the boundaries of function before form.
I'm still getting a brighter picture of exactly what the site would be. And it wouldn't be just one thing, either. It would have several different facets to it.
The home page would be home to my site updates and general ramblings. Basically just like the many blogs and commentaries on the frontpages of sites. However, I would avoid personal and (especially) political updates like the plague. Way too many of them out there. Instead, I would just try to write something thoroughly entertaining. Something that someone could come to the site to read, even if they didn't like anything else about the site.
Another part of it -- the main part, really. Well, it would be officially the main part, but not totally. Just like theOtaku is the main part of this network, even though myOtaku and Otakuboards are probably more popular. Anyway, this part would be a gallery of different flash animations I'll have done. But not simply flash animations like you'd see elsewhere: I would do all my animations based on music. Not music videos, per se -- those are visuals that complement the song. In my animations, the song would complement the visuals. The animations would actually be stories that might be totally unrelated to the song's words.
The animations would be drawn on the computer, but not in the chunky, outlined style that most flash is done in. I would actually draw them by hand on a tablet PC or one of those virtual drawing pads you can hook up to your computer. It would be very sketchy-looking, I imagine. Of course, two problems are revealed when facing this issue:
1) I have no idea how to do flash.
2) I suck at drawing.
Problem one can, of course, be easily remedied. But problem two could take a while. And when I say "it could take a while", I mean, "I'll have to draw my ass off."
Because I really don't have any talent for drawing (have I talked about this before?). I've just been drawing off and on in a-few-months-long spurts for several years now. So it takes forever for me to improve my drawing skills.
But I just realized that I've been talking about this one facet of my site for some time now. Let's move on.
The only other facet that I've thought of right now, and most likely the only other one I'll want, is a community. Not a community like around here, maybe a bit less and a bit different. I have no idea how it'd be different, but it would have to be somehow, because most of the site really should be focused around the site itself. I may want to keep it as small as just a forum, but if I do, it'll damn well have to be a great forum, like OB. I'd... uh...
Yeah, inspiration lost. I think I'll end here.

Whew!
Ugh, sorry I haven't gotten around to posting, but between play practice and being kicked off the computer randomly, I haven't been able to do so or finish my new theme for a few days.
Speaking of the theme, a big fat wad of thanks goes out to Alan, his forum, and James, who I stole the music code from. ^^;;
So new crap has happened in my life. Of considerable notability is the fact that my cat has had kittens again. Two black ones, one off-white one. I don't have a clue what to name them. (Although "Shithead" is going under heavy consideration.)
Other than that, we may or may not stay in Kansas much longer because the university has finally decided to give my dad's company some more money to keep the food service going. I'll tell you what, some people can be total asses when it comes to paying money, even when there is quite literally no other intelligent option.
But I'm still hoping that we do leave, because I hate this place enough as it is, and it's always a good idea to get out of somewhere quick if you want to get out at all.
Finally, I think I'll plug me a website. Check out Frank Payne's place. Tons of underground music downloads there, and if I knew about a quarter of the bands he knows about, I think my head would explode. I'm serious, this guy is crazy about music. Go have a look-see.
