Spread the word around.
Yesterday I meant to mention that I went to a Blindside concert again last Sunday, but I obviously got a little sidetracked. ^_^;;
The show was awesome. They played some of the stuff from their new CD, and it's going to knock the pants off everything else they've done so far. I also picked up the new remastered version of their second album, A Thought Crushed My Mind.
But more importantly is the fact that this was my first time in a mosh pit (especially voluntarily). Man, it felt good to just let go of everything in there and feel the music, no matter how sore my neck was by the end of the night. XP
It could've been better, though. In fact, the pit turned out really weird. There weren't too many people on the outer half of it, but they were really going crazy. On the inner half, though, nobody seemed to have any desire to do much but stand there. Guess the ninnys didn't want to give up their spots by the stage or something. So what with the outside pushing in every direction, therefore including inwards, and the inside not pushing back, they all got more and more packed in like sardines, lol.
While I'm talking about music, I'll go ahead and mention that I am seriously amazed at how much I love the song "The Boys Are Back In Town". I mean, I loooves that song. I will have that and "Starman" (Bowie) played at my funeral.
And finally, cell phones are not lighters, you dipshits. If you can't take the time to stop by a gas station and spend a dollar on your way to a concert, then stay home.
