Black hole sun, won't you come, won't you come?
The weather over here is nuts. It was 103 degrees yesterday, and today it's about 70. It's all these stupid-ass plains that won't block any weather coming through.

So many people who come to Kansas just go nuts over all these plains, but I honestly can't stand them. I couldn't tell you quite why, but I think it has something to do with the fact that wherever I look I see miles upon miles of Kansas, inescapable by any means I have access to.

In other news, we're still trying to sell our house and buy one here (we'll probably just rent for a year). As it turns out, Fort Hays' (the university) food service program is in about twice as bad of financial condition as my dad's boss said it was. But that's ok, because as it happens, he (the boss) got his ass fired recently for unrelated reasons, and frankly, you can't get much worse than we were in Ottawa. XP

We also found out that we wouldn't have to move ourselves, because the company was going to hire movers for us. The. Biggest. Relief. Of the century. (We've got a lot of stuff, lol.)

Also, I'm on a small Soundgarden/311 spurt right now. *Can't believe how ripped off he got for not getting to grow up in the 90's*
