Alan: Retract thy claws, lol. I guess it didn't come across as such, but I was trying to handle the post as jokingly as possible. I don't really even have too much of a problem with the computer.
But I still think I was right about the processor. I'm finding already that I have some problems running multiple programs, and often running just one at a time. I wouldn't care, but when you've got that much ram there's no reason to have a processor that small. (And I don't have any PC games from even the past ten years, most likely. Not by my will, of course, but nevertheless.)
And my point with the mouse wasn't that they didn't have it, but that they weren't willing to admit that even one thing Windows did was better than them. However, I was on apple.com and on the front page they're apparently advertising a two-button mouse that they just made. So yeah, I was wrong about that. Sorry.
I didn't complain about any of the programs except some problems with the web browsers, and I even said that that could be attributed to a number of things. And the only reason I would even go near IE is because some websites don't show up in Firefox.
Sorry if I laid the sarcasm on a bit thick, lol. Didn't mean to. (and I've been trying to add you to my AIM buddy list so I could ask you some things about OSX, but it's been messing up. Could you add me and catch me when I'm on?)
Sara: At least I don't name my computer's colors after fruits. >=D
Rusty: I tried there yesterday. Couldn't find much of anything.
EDIT: I'm going to try to get to the computer center at the university soon, so I can get my iBook configured to the wireless network here. I'm not sure if they'll let me, though, since I'm not a student.
Also, the small thrill of my 100th guestbook signature was pretty much ruined when I actually read it, lol. Maybe I should create some kind of spelling and grammar filter for it.
