*deep breath*
*SIGH OF CONTENTMENT*
Yesterday evening I walked to a coffee shop that 's near my house to do some homework and use their wireless. I found it to be all in all a very, very enjoyable experience. I can't tell you why, exactly, but I felt extremely satisfied coming out of there, even though all I did was sit a at a table, download some songs, drink some Dr. Pepper, and do my math. I think listening to copious amounts of ska had something or other to do with it. In any case, I went back there again today, and was equally happy. Maybe even more so, because I got some chai this time, and it was delicious. I'm thinking of making this a habit, maybe.
Along similar lines, it's been getting colder around these parts, and I'm beginning to remember why I like Winter so much. (Besides it not being Summer, that is.) I think Winter is an incredibly comfortable season, because it provides the absolute best conditions for staying indoors and lying on your bed doing nothing. If that doesn't rule, then I don't know what does.
And, oh, what else? It's a time of the year when the sun finally relents, and is like, "Oh, fine. Forget you guys, I'm going to stay up here behind the clouds," and we're (read: I'm) totally ok with that, because it was just a few weeks ago spending every day blaring itself into our eyes, demanding that we bask in it's glory.
But now that it's finally starting to bugger off, the world has sort of condensed, and everything is getting continuously cozier. It's phenomenal.
