[[Guess what today is?!]]--------------------------------------
Today is my 1yr anniversary here on TheO. Yay me! I've noticed a few things since I've been here on TheO. Those few things are these: More and more 12 and 11yr old kids make an account, people send butt loads of art all at once, almost nobody comments or votes anymore, and there have been a few good improvements since I've been a member.
I don't understand why people like Adam,or whoever don't notice how old people are here. I mean I know alot of people lie about there age, but there are a few that don't and you can tell. Like most of the 12 and 11yr old kids that I've seen on here decide to put up how old they are. Which in my opinionif your that young with an account on the internet you really shouldn't put up your age. But then again maybe I'm old fashioned, but I worry about the safety of others, especially people younger than me.
I'm sure that I'm not the only person here that has noticed that here lately, people (especially newer users) send in butt loads of art work in one day. I mean I can understand just sending in 3 works a day, but once you send in over that number it kind of takes up alot of space. And it sends other peoplez art farther and farther down the page, where more than likely people aren't going to look.
I personally am a fan of commenting, if you look at my portfolio you will see that I have made over 600 comments. I vote on almost every pic I take the time to really look at. And yeah I can comment and fave works all at the same time. Granted I have over 800 faves, but most of them I have commented on. I just wish that more peoplem would comment, and I mean realy comment not just say "oh wow. He/she looks so hot" or w/e. Give the artist some cirtique if it's needed. If it's not then just tell them what you like about the drawing. They took the time to slave over the drawing, so why do you the voter just take a few seconds to comment.
Some of the good improvements that have happened since I've been a member would have to include: Being abel to fave works, they got rid of the yes or no vote thing, the popularity thing went away as well. So those few things they got rid of is a big improvement I think, and adding the fave thing works out great. And I hear from Adam that there is going to be so big changes in the future, so I can hardly wait. And I can gladly say that I will be here on TheO when these changes start to occur. It'll be awesome.
Well I'm done talking about all of this stuff now. I just wanted to voice my opinipon on a few things. And so that's what I have done. I'm suppose to go to the movies with my boyfriend tomorrow, but his mom hasn't said that she would take us yet, so I don't know if we'll get to go or not. I'll post up my art as soon as the program I use to save my pics in JPG format starts working again.
