Once again, a positive development to MyOtaku is released. Click the comment box and see! Tada... a new and better design, courtesy of Desbreko. Although, I have been pointing out that adding a "Date Posted" in the comment box would be a good idea... But then again, I forgot if the old layout got a date posted data... Oh well. But hey, this is great, isn't it? -Jomz --edit-- Just went and commented on other people and saw the "Date Posted." Now I'm confused. Was it there before or was it just added? --edit of the edit-- I just confirmed it... When I first posted it, there was no "date posted." Then I commented it on Adam's page. Guess he was on-line, noticed it, and edited away. Yay! --end of edit of edit--- crazy terms, eh? I better not edit it again or it'll be a very long repetitive string of words. ^^

Feeling proud! I was able to crack the password that some office mate forgot when she placed it on some very important excel files. Lucky enough it was an easy password. With a little help from some programs that hinted the first two characters and length, it took me some decent time to break it. Tsk... people should really remember passwords. It's troublesome as it is to try and crack them, much more of trying to retype the entire file had it was not recovered. Lucky for me the password was easy to guess. Took some data digging, though. But anyway... Looks like I'm starting to build a reputation here at work... It's all good though. ^^

So I thought I should post something different in this little nook of the Otaku world... But seriously, nothing is going on much except I am still a bit dizzy. Although I am already fine, walking is like hell. Well, more like feeling like a drunk trying to walk after a couple of drinking binges. It would be fine, I guess if I was drinking, except I am not. My sense of balance is currently set to "wacked-out" mode. Anyway...

THis is Jomz Reporting in! Sorry I have been gone for quite some time without prior notice, but I have been sick… I’ve been feeling very dizzy and last week’s Monday, it felt so bad, I actually upchucked three times that day… Out went everything I ate. What a mess. That sent me to the hospital for three days due to the dehydration and severe dizziness. Turned out to be some sort of positional vertigo. Every time I turn my head the world seems to spin a bit faster. And on that fateful Monday, a simple turn or movement is like riding the worlds tallest rollercoaster… What a ride… Well, anyway, I’m at home now, but still feeling a bit dizzy. Walking and standing is a bit tolerable, but hey, I can manage. I’m not sure if I can get back to work soon… It’s not the office work that bites me, it’s the long travel to work. And if you’re unlucky, you’ll have to stand in the commuter bus for more than an hour ‘til you reach work. That definitely sucks, and would be worse for my slight dizziness which can’t stand standing. That’s all for now. Just saying I’m still alive. See ya around. -------------------------------------------------- On a side note: Being sick with the dizziness is a bit ok than being sick with something that gives you a headache or other pains... Lying down can actually be of help, however, it's the getting up and around that bites. Ah, anyway... you can't have everything, eh? --------------------------------------------------

   Today was one helluva day…

First off, the power company’s doing some repairs to the power lines of the place, so the entire day, we had no electricity – making the office as hot as a cooking oven. Good thing there was a cool breeze blowing every once in a while… but still, it was terribly hot. Then on the way home, something really worried me. While riding the bus, we met a bus that had an accident. Heard that it lost its brakes, or something like that. Everyone was fine, except the driver who suffered some injuries. I can’t say if it was serious. He was later loaded to the bus we were riding when they found out he was in the nearby town, coz they were in the same bus company, to be taken to the city for treatment. That bus was the only bus line in the route that takes me to office… gulp… And to make thing more strange and creepy, another bus, from a different company, also met an accident when it hit a jeepney. I don’t think there were any serious injuries or stuff, coz we only passed by it… Take note though that it was only a couple of meters from where the first bus accident took place. And just when I was thinking if this was some sort of freaky coincidence to have two buses just a few meters or something away from each other had an accident, contemplating if this is some kind of message that I should be more cautious or something, another accident with two trucks were encountered along the road, just before we entered the city… This one was more like some bumper-hitting or something… I can’t tell for sure. But one thing is certain… I can say that the three accidents encountered got less in severity as we met them… Bu seriously, people should be more careful… Man, this is the most accidents I have seen in a day!

Things are starting to look gray for MyO... I'd hate to be the rainmaker here, but TheO is starting to evolve to a mixed MyO-TheO. If it wasn't for the JavaScript heavy other BB restrictions, I could swear that Worlds might be MyO! It got members list, Guestbooks, the PM, and of course, the Blogs... *Sigh* And if any of you guys noticed, I'm not posting the same stuff in MyO and Worlds. Worlds seems too formal, and less personal to me. Guess that means it'll be hard for me to raise my rankings in the "popularity" list in TheO, eh? See yah! ^_^

I'm back from my trip!

I just got back to work this morning from my official business to Legazpi City. It was fun, informative, and I got to enjoy the company of two of my office mates who I thought I would not get along at first. As soon as I got back, I got another order to head out to another meeting. Dang, this is starting to sound more of a manager's job... I'm no manager here... (yet) hehehe... Ah, I'm just waiting for the final "Shove off" order... I'll be back tomorrow, then. See ya around! ^_^
