I don't know much of the technical aspect of the stuff but I can tell about the process that a voter goes through.

First off, a student will go to the Gymnasium and heads over to a table with some election commission guys to register for voting and for assigning a computer for voting.

Afterwards, he heads off to a computer, enters his student number to activate the specialized program and selects his candidates by clicking on a picture. Afterwards, a printed copy is produced and dropped off in a balot box, his fingers inked and out he goes.

Like I said, I don't know much of the "behind the scenes" of the election program, but I'm guessing that a database stores all the votes and the printout is there as a hardcopy of all the votes, perhaps if there are any complaints, hehehe...
