I had a lucky day last Friday...

The biggest stuff that happened was when I was trying to manually clean one of our office's computer that was infected with this tough-to clean virus.

It blocked anti-viruses from running, closes anything that has a hint of any anti-virus name in its title bar, plus it disables any conventional method of removing viruses via the registry. Ugh, tough!

I have tried every dang thing I could find, and threw everything, but the kitchen sink! For some reason I still don't know, all the programs associated with this virus became currupted!

I don't know what happened. Whatever I did messed it up or something. So I jumped in and took the chance. I installed a new anti-virus, updated its definitions and wiped the piece of crud off the face of the computer.

It felt good... :D
