I promise I'll fix this up one day... REALLY!

I will, I will! I really promise! When I get the urge to work on stuff, that is >_> *cough*

No, I'm not lazy! What ever gave you that idea?! Sheesh!

So yeah, work sucked Tuesday night, and here's why:

I got to work about 9:30pm, half an hour early, 'cause my roommate had to give me a ride. Eh, oh well. I sat around, ate some food, and talked to a couple people I know. Eventually 10pm came around, and so I went and clocked in; got to work. I worked my ASS off for a good four or so hours doing stuff -NOT- on my duty list. Why? The shift before me didn't do ANY of their duties, for one, and we had an inspection at 8am Wednesday morning. So, I decided I'd do the good thing, and do the things not done. Why? We get a 25$ bonus each month if we get a 90% or higher on our inspections. Yeah, I know, it's not A LOT; but hey... any bit helps when you're a poor college student whom lives off ramen. ANYWAY. I worked my ass off. Soon as I got done THAT stuff, I had to do my own. With only two hours left, I had to bust my ass in order to get everything done. Mind you, I work at 24/7 truck stop; so I was dealing with customers all night long. About 5:30am, the assistant manager comes out, looks around, sees me standing there waiting on a customer who was ALMOST to the counter, and says "Why do you have to be so f***ing lazy? You never do any work around here."

...
...
...

YEAH. RIGHT. That's why EVERY NIGHT I WORK I end up doing two shifts worth of work. That's why when she comes in at 4am; ALL of the things she needs done -I've- done for her, except the manager only stuff. That's why I hang around an hour or so to help her out, when I can. That's why I jump to do what she tells me to, no matter what it is. Because I'm lazy! OH! Then at 6am (When my shift is done), she whines and says she needs me to stay until ten. Now, some days I might not mind that... but... I have class at 1pm Wednesdays. By the time I would get home it'd be like 10:30, fall asleep by 11... there would be no point in going to sleep at all! I'd have to get up at 12 to get ready! So, of course, I tell her I can't stay. Then so goes off on how I never do anything around this store, and how I never can come in and cover hours.

Excuse me, but I think working 30 hours a week, IN ADDITION TO going to school 40+ hours, AND having to do a good 10-15 hours worth of homework... that doesn't really give me a whole lot of time to do ANYTHING I enjoy, let alone relax, or come in extra to work. Oh, and I gotta sleep sometime in there too. I me hell, I bust my ass for my education, and to make the money I need to pay my bills... am I just supposed to not sleep and not have any time to myself in order to please the assistant manage of a f***ing gas station?! I'm sorry, but unlike her, I don't plan on working at a truck stop when I'm FOURTY YEARS OLD. I could care less about the stupid place anymore... guh... I'm about ready to quit.

*HUFF!*

Anyway... after I woke up Wednesday afternoon, I had photoshop class. It wasn't half bad. Just finished up the lecture on color correction, and turns in our midterms. I hope I did well on my midterm... it wasn't hard, but I think mine looks pretty good.

OH! She let me turn in my Lab1 late. I only got a 75, because it was late, but she said I could have gotten a 100% if I had turned it in on time... Oh well huh? At least I got some points for it.

Thursday started out like it was going to suck. I got barely any sleep Wednesday night... not sure why, but I had this insane insomnia; like I do now. AND I had class at 9am. It's my Marketing class, and it's the most boring class I've had in a LONG time. Oh well... I have to take it, yah know? Do what I gotta do. Anyway, I get there, and it's some stuff about how Services make up 70% of the market, and how the promotional and marketing mix for such things is different than for products. We also looked over some case studies on K'nex and Gillet. About 11am, we had our second break... >_> and I left class. Scott (A friend of mine) and I decided to go to lunch. While we were there, we were surfing the net (Thank god for wireless connections ^_^) and came to find out our 1pm class was canceled! WOO HOO!

Then I got a phone call. It was from the auto shop that has my car... it wasn't going to be done today like they promised.

I don't remember if I said anything, so let me give you some background.

Feb. 5th, 7:30am.

I'm driving home from work, in the snow and ice. The interstate it kinda messy, so I'm going about ten miles under the speed limit, like most of the people around me. I'm coming around a corner I know is a little rough, so I started slowing down and turning into it. I come around the corner, and some drunk ass is going the WRONG way down the road! Hit me head on.

That totaled my truck.

Three days later, Wednesday of that week, I'm driving my mom's car. After waiting a red, it finally turns green and I start to go. Well, as I'm going, someone decides to red their red, and slams into my driver's side.

.... yeah.

So I've had plenty of burns and injuries the past few weeks, which have severely added to the stress on me. Let alone the fact that I have -no- vehicle, and have to find a ride to everywhere except for school, as that's the ONLY thing within walking distance of where I live.

My mom went out and bought a new car, and she's letting me have her's. It's a 2004 Pontiac Vibe. Compared to my 2003 GMC Sonoma, it's a huge upgrade. Tons of nice features, much nicer and fun to drive, etc.

So yeah, I'm waiting on the body shop to fix the car up. I know, it takes a while, but Monday last week they told me it would be done Friday of last week. Ok, cool! Well it wasn't done. Oh well. They call me and say it's going to be done the 24th. I'm pissed, but hey. I guess I can handle another week, right? Well they called today and said it wouldn't be done for another week. GRR! That angered me. And what was their excuse "Oh... the tech assigned to your vehicle has been sick all week..."......

Now, I don't know about anyone else, but when -I- call out sick, my shift still gets covered. WHY WOULDN'T IT WORK THE SAME THERE?!

Anyway, I got pissed off, and told them I was calling the Better Business Bureau. For those of you who don't know, they make sure that companies don't mess with customers; through false advertising, lying, cheating, etc. If you have a case, they'll follow it up, and then post the findings in local newspapers and such. It's a HUGE amount of bad publicity, and can cost some companies to lose as much as 75% of their customers.

So I got a call about an hour later saying that my car would be ready Friday morning.

It better be, or else I really will call them.

ARG!

So I ordered pizza around 7pm Thursday night, and somehow passed out around 8... woke up like 3:30am, and now I can't fall back asleep x.x

Lets hope today goes good...
