Ok, We all know InuYasha has a thing for two women right?
Ok here's how I think InuYashas relationships are so far.:

InuYasha & Kagome: Their love for one another is growing stronger with every passing day they're together, and as they get closer thier love blocks out Kikyous faster everday.

InuYahsa & Kikyou: their love was strong for one another. But it's slowly dieing because Kikyous too stuburn to leave InuYahsa be. I think it was a good thing they got betrayed, Because then InuYahsa would've never met Kagome or done anything about Naraku.
