My new rokushakubo
Yes! I finaly got it! an un-tapered red oak rokushakubo ( A Japanese staff aproximatley 6 ft long)

Now I can take it to school and learn from Bo-jutsu Brown Sensei again yay! ( My old one broke earlier this year ) (T.T)

Oh! I've also finished the death note series now.
T.T i'm going to withdrawl now!

   My 1st Live Japanese Dance Performance!!!
Finally it happened! I performed Soran Bushi on Thursday night.

I had to lead the dance which was kinda scary considering the fact I'd never performed it for an audiance before. I thought I screwed up several times but no-one noticed and everyone said I did a great job so that was nice!

For those of you that know what this dance looks like, I can get fairly low in the "rope pulling" bit but Boy was I shown a new meaning for "low" when some of the Japanese visitors joined in! I need to become more flexible! lol!

   Soran Bushi performance post-poned!
Okay so here's the thing. I turn up to the hall after school to prepare for the performance supposedly on at 6:30 and find out that it's been postponed to next week so we can perform for our sister school instead. I turned up with full gear on a karate day and all! >_<" grrr. So we just practiced for a while and learned soran bushi country side style. (we do the more well known sea-side version.) The country style one looks so cool. I want to learn it but more importantly, another dance I saw the other day at assembally. haha! when I cheered I was yelling in Japanese: Well Done!!/Congratulations!!! and everyone in my area of the hall looked at me really weird like I was some kinda freak.O_o lol.

I'm learning more stuff in Karate now and it's become too popular. It used to be a very quiet grade sport but now, It's over selected as only 22 people can do it but 28 or 29 signed up for it so Brown sama is being strict on all the n00bs and is kicking them out of the class. LOL!
Today I learned some of Ni Jyu Shio. muahahaha! Soon I'll outrank you Ori-chan!

Desu noto wa china town de!!!
Yay! Now I know where to go for my Death Note! All this time looking in various anime shops, I forgot the most obvious place! Chinatown! Australia is so ignorant when it comes to Asia. Theyr'e our neigbours for god's sake! why cant there be Japan town ??? lol jk. Oh okay that's interesting. I just read an email from TAMarket ( an online anime store in Sydney.) and they say that it's not licenced in Australia yet but the real footage version is set to be released soon in Australia and their guess is that the anime will follow soon after. YAY!!!

Oh well I should sleep cos tomorrow I have Karate in the arvo for 3 periods, then Soran Bushi practice after school and preparing to perform it for a farewell for some Japanese senior high school visitors. So Tired. tata. Oyasumi!! =0= *yawns*

Back to school.
Well the holidays were pretty good but in some ways I'm glad theyr'e over. I'm happy to be back at school with all my freinds and being able to do Martial arts again and Japanese. Speaking of which, I was very suprised today when I found out how much Japanese I've learned in the last 2 weeks away from school. what's more is that I've learned much of it from watching You-Tube posted Anime, Particularly; Subtitled Death Note. All sorts of things are happening. Next week I have to perform at assembally, Doing Japanese dance. I've only known it for about a term and still need some form correction. I'm just very afraid of screwing it up. It's not like karate demonstration because it's a dance and if you don't know a part of whatever you are doing, you can improvse and no-one knows the difference. I finally managedd to get myself a mobile again. An orange LG U300. I attatched a Japanese screen ceaner to it that goes with it really well. The best thing about the screen cleaner is they cant be bought in Australia or outside of Japan (to my knowlege). Also, because of death note I'm picking up some very interesting stealth tactics that I can use in real life. one example is putting a piece of paper between the dor and the frame as you close it, close to the floor, so if the door is opened in your absence, you will know as the paper has moved

Today. Movies Clothes COFFEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
Today, I headed down to Penrith with two freinds of mine. We saw shrek the third which is okay, and went clothes shopping! It was actually pretty fun and apparently I'm a good clothes shopper. Yay! Skill in something! I guess this kinda makes up for the whole berret phase lol! We ended up at Gloria Jenes (however you spell it) coffee twice and Billy Baxters once. Not so smart if you know the slightly more erm.... energetic of the two lol! Okay I'm not funny.
