CAMING (not sleeping) with the bears mini course camping day
Ugh. It feels like I’ve been gone forever! And it was only one night. But it was quite fun. I wish I could scan the pictures and notes I drew during our reflection time but my mom’s on the computer with the scanner. So yea.
Anyways about camping. Wow it was a lot of fun. Let’s see… Where to begin? Hmm… we went on a hike and saw horses and got to pet them. There was one with one brown eye and one blue eye. And I found walking sticks for Joanna and me. Later when we were walking back the guys disappeared and we decided they must’ve been a hallucination. So yea. We then had reflection time when I drew random sketches about our day. Then we made stew and that was fun… we had a hard time starting the fire because Andrew wanted to use his lighter kit. But we did get it started and after dinner we had hot chocolate and then marshmallows. And later the boys went away and we still stayed up. And we talked and thought Miss Ruberg (or Ranger Ruberg) was a random bald man because of her hat. Then Miss Wanamaker (or Professor Wannamaker) became the Turkish man because of her hat. Oh yea and the grate we had the stew on ended up bending so we called the stew bent stew. When we went to bed stuff happened *looks around * uh… yea. We kept waking up like every hour and Natalia and I both saw like flashlights outside the tent. And the first time we all woke up I asked Natalia what time it was and it was barley 11:00 and were like ‘Oh my gosh it’s not even tomorrow!’. And once Joanna moved onto my feet and I had to move her and she kept hitting me and then she finally woke up once I finished moving her. And we got up at 6 to mess up the guys campsite. We tepeed the guys tent and took their shoes we hung one of each pair on a tree then took the other to our camp site and hid all the bags around their area… it was fun. They didn’t get up until at least after 10 (just guessing I had no since of time) when Steven finally came in with out shoes and said that some of their shoes were missing and they couldn’t reach Spencer’s. We went with them to their campsite to ‘survey the damage’ and I think Andrew was the one who thought it was the hippies from the campsite over (we thought they were catholic Indians) who did it… it took them until they found some green beads like what we were wearing to realize who it was. And they stayed in there for so long they didn’t get to have any of the eggs Sydney made and ended p trying to cook pop tarts like right before we left. But the highlight of all us girls day was when we decided to go play Frisbee by the bathroom… then we went over to the showers to explore them and Joanna and Lauren (Colmen) went into one and Lauren had the bright idea of locking it and then they couldn’t get it unlocked so they got trapped in the shower so we had to call Miss Ruberg and Miss Wanamaker over to get them out because Natalia couldn’t pick the lock with the tweezers from her Swiss army knife.
I think I’ve gone on long enough there was so much more to our camping experiment but I couldn’t include it all. After getting home I immediately took a nice long warm shower then got in shorts and a T-shirt (because I was sick of bundling up) then got on the computer and among other things started righting about my day… it’s now 6:30 and I’m just finishing…

Yay! We had fun at the park place.^^ we got to go hike in it and it was fun and when we first started hiking Joanna and I became convinced it looked exactly like a part of Potomac School’s Cross Country course. *Shudders. * That was not a fun course. Anyways I especially liked walking up the switchbacks part of the trail we were on today. Oh! And I just remembered the parks name! It’s Turkey Run Park! And tomorrow we go to Shenandoah River State Park! HAPPY! So yea… we got to make GORP today after we got back (or our modified GORMP). That was fun. And before we left we watched The Lorax. That’s a sad movie… all the bears, birdies, and fishies are sooo cute! But they all had to leave. *Sadness. * Oh and the next time I post it will be Thursday …’cause we’re going over night!!

Wah I had like no time yesterday except to say ‘It’s my Birthday… yay.’ So anyways today was our last day of school before the Easter Holidays and from Tuesday through Thursday we have mini courses. I’m doing the camping mini course so that’s very exciting. And uh… Yea. I got squire from the public library! Very happy only one more Protector of the Small book after this! *Tear, tear. * Hmm. On Sunday we went to a Tai restaurant called Bangkok 54 for my Birthday. And my Nono got sake! I got to try it… yay! And now the empty bottle is on my bookshelf in my room! (Yes I’m odd… deal with it.) Hmm… we went to Barnes and Noble on Sunday after church… we visited my Grandma and then went to Barnes and Noble, Circuit City, and DSW. I got to spend the $25 gift certificate Kelly gave me and while I was in the store my mom gave me another $29 one from my brothers for my birthday (and it had dark chocolate!). I bought the second Othello book (yay I have been wanting that since forever), the first Wolf’s Rain book, the first Tactics book, and the first Land of the Blindfold book! *Is very excited. * And during dinner my parents gave me a card that said I got Tivo… and my dad wrote on it that I wouldn’t need to wake up at 11:30 anymore and I’m like ‘but what if I like to?’. And I also got all the Pendragon books… I didn’t really wan them I told my mom that I’d much rather have manga than any other books… and if I did get anything else I’d want Tamora Pierce books… But I also got the forth Japan For Sale CD…it hasn’t come in yet but I can’t wait for it to!

Hitch was good. Very funny. While we were in the theatre waiting for Sam and Natalia to get there (Kelly was already there) Kelly and I decided to call Sam to see what was taking her so long and she said she wasn’t coming… that was odd. We went outside to look for Natalia because she was taking so long and Kelly randomly glanced back inside and she was there so yea. Our movie was on the top floor of the AMC Hoffman theatre so Kelly didn’t like that and we were teasing her on the elevator and some random people in front of us looked at us. So yea. When we came back home we had lots of cake! Yum. Chocolate. So yea. When we were done I decided to put my FMA DVDs and I tried to explain the show while they were watching it then Natalia’s dad came and when I came back Kelly was mad because she liked it.^^ Then Kelly’s dad came and then I went to bed and stayed up and read the rest of the second Protector of the Small book.

Hmm… today in Spanish my binder attacked me and now I have seventeen paper cuts (yes seventeen comes after two… deal with it). I finished the first Protector of the Small book but luckily for me one of the two Tamora Pierce books my school library has is the second Protector of the Small book so I could get it. Oh I absolutely adore Neal. ^^ Te-he. And my two new favorite lines are “Well label me impressed and ship me to Carthak.” And “I’m so shallow I’m surprised I don’t reflect myself.” Te-he. Then I also love Cleon’s “pearl of my life” junk! ^^ Yea. So …er… that was my day I spent as much time as I could reading and have no clue what else happened! ^^

Eeewww… we had Roy Roger’s for dinner… how fatty and disgusting! And then I burped and my mom told me I wasn’t gonna get a lot of dates that way…
Today we had mini-course assemblies I got sleeping with the bears, which was my first choice… so I’m happy. And a lot of my friends are doing it too so that’s very good. Today in study hall Miss Wanamaker brought in her dog, Jonah (I think), and she was so cute! *Coughs*. Anyways we had track had study hall instead of sports today… so did (I think) girl’s lacrosse and boy’s tennis. Wow that was fun. Joanna and I acted spazzy and odd the whole time and we played bowling on my phone until she had to go to the bathroom so then just I played it and she was annoyed I had excited out of our game and then when it started being evil to me I became convinced she had put a curse on me and my bowling skills… yea. And I stole her pencil, and she lost the eraser to my new Hello Kitty pencil I found in advisory, and we hit each other, and it was fun. So yea… that was basically my day!

You know nobody seems to like the snow and everyone is ready for it to be over even though we’ve had like no snow days at all this year. So obviously must people weren’t very happy to see it was snowing again. Ah well. I thought the snow was quite pretty. And that meant we had no sports today! So fitness was just in the lobby of the upper school with nothing to do during sports. We looked at Cameron and Julia’s pictures on their cell phones. Yea… and talked about grades because we got our report cards today. I made deans again. But I did better than last time …I had most B’s and only like two A’s but this time I only had two B’s and no –B’s!! Anyways today in advisory was interesting. We played paper football with a tissue box… and …yea.

Wow. I have had no time to update. My CD player isn’t working and there is no sound on the computer so I can’t listen to my FMA OST! Joe the drug guy is back!! We have him for English class today and yesterday and the sevvies had him last week. So… yea. Today during morning meeting Mr. Murphy gave Courtney, Kelly, Sydney, and me formal warnings for talking. I feel so bad it was all my fault and Kelly was trying to get me to stop… Courtney wasn’t really talking and Sydney seriously did nothing. I tried to tell Mr. Murphy but he didn’t listen. And then when we were going to class we saw Miss Brown (the counselor) and Kelly seemed kinnda annoyed when she told her what happened and I felt so bad. Stephanie was there with us and I went to the bathroom with her and Miss Brown came too… I ended up going to English class with watery eyes *makes face* but Joe (the drug dude) just thought I had a cold^^. Today in Track we did field events and when I got home I had soo much sand in my shoes from the long jump. But both Kelly and Sydney play softball and they tried out for JV softball (yes were aloud to try out for JV sports) and they both made it in!! So that’s very happy.

Grrr… Then we went to Home Depot again to buy marble tiles… lots and lots of marble tiles. Now I am home and should be doing history research… oh well. *Sighs. *
