A little taste of things to come...
I have been working on Neo City and the story has been scraped clean off my damn plate. But there is another version that is so much better than the original.
Here is a little taste of things to come from the NEW AND IMPROVED Neo City:
Neo City: Keo Zone (Revised original Neo City)
Chapter One: Origins
Insert One: ...Of the City of Neon
It still wasn’t there. I hung my head down as Kou fired up another blunt firmly towards his lips.
"When is it going to be here?" I said as I saw Kou beginning to smoke the blunt.
"Raiju, I don’t know a’ight." Kou exclaimed.
Kou was tall for 17. He was 6’1 and he was dark-skinned. Me, on the other hand was about a shade lighter than Kou and I was about 5'8. I was looking at the time on my watch for 15th time and yes, I was counting. This is only a sign of my ongoing boredom for this stupid thing to come.
Oh, and this thing...is well worth the wait.
"Is that it, Raiju?" Kou asked as he was about to shake off the ashes of his blunt off his pants.
"Hey, yeah, that's it. Let’s go, man."
Since my boredom was finally destroyed by this sudden arrival and turn of events, action was coming at us full force. Even though we don’t do much, we still gotta have the drive.
See, me and Kou are onmitsu transporters (for the jap-illiterate, onmitsu means ninja and/or samurai, whatever rocks you boat) and we had a job tonight to transport something called Magnum, a new type of weapon that some clan wants for itself. This clan is called the TaijukanaiRusuo, or the UndergroundCarnival. They are a bunch of smugglers who are rumored to have WolfVamp in their blood. I don’t believe a damn thing but I think I have a hunch that the leader, Vulture, goes to our school. He was a half black, half paleish color and always wears black. Weird as hell. If that didn’t freak you out enough, he showed his fangs to some fine girls not too long ago. Two of them happen to be my twin sisters, Aoi and Ayame.
Enough of that shit. Onto the present. Me and Kou were riding down Hyo/19th street in Kou’s red Caprice on the lookout for some shit that is going down that we have to stop. Some of the UndergroundCarnival’s men were there to negotiate some problems with the Magnum and might cause some problems.
