^_^
We've decorated the house, put lights up, made gingerbread houses and trains, but we STILL haven't gotten a tree yet. *sigh* My dad got in at 4:30 this morning, which means he won't be awak until 4:30 this afternoon.

Slowly, he closed his eyes lightly, letting go of his weapon onto the grass moistened with dew. With that, Shirosama, master of Earth and leader of the twelve, found his peace and passed away, his Bonded disappearing in a cloud of smoke with a howl.
In the middle of the battle, Kita held her brother close to her, her first tear ever sliding down her cheek and falling onto Shiro. Her heart broke like the sound of glass shattering within her, though no one but the Forest master could hear it.
The soldiers and fighters of both the sibling’s realms let out a cheer of victory as they pushed back the last regiment of the enemy. They had not seen their leader fall just moments before.
“My Lady,” one soldier yelled as he threw his hat up into the air with the others, “we have met victory!” Forces everywhere were celebrating with shouts of joy and games so much that none noticed the sadness that surrounded the middle of the battlefield.
Kita bit her lip to keep herself from sobbing and rather against her will released him carefully to the ground. Picking up his longsword from the ground, she placed it back in his hand, folding his fingers over the hilt in respect and honor.
