Changes
Am again changing my font color. I'm not all that fond of teal, heh. Anyway, it was an interesting day, we had to clean the garage... Whee... cleaning the garage on my birthday... which only took us the whole day to actually get half of it done, lol. It was an interesting day... I think... we found Cameron's old drum set back there, which he was happy to see when he finally came home. It was funny how he ran up to each different case, and hugged it saying their names, lol. I live in an odd family where it can get so boring, we have to name inanimate objects, and say they’re our friends, heh. I myself have an Amp named Jimmy, and a guitar named Billy... *looks around* somewhere... Gavin has a bunch of old guitars, keyboards, and other instruments he never plays, in the garage. But, we also found a lot of old childhood stuff too. Mike found his old Cecil Plushie he got about two years ago… it was the one thing that wasn’t EVER to be touched or else he’d beat you until you lay there withering. Gavin found his other favorite hat, and Cameron found that old Mog plushie that hid a year ago… but, when he realized I hid it from him, he chased me down, and threw me into the pool! But, I brought him down with me, by holding onto him, causing us both to fall into the pool, lol. So, obviously, don’t take prize possessions too lightly, heh. But, it's time to get down to the Midi. I'd love to join it in to one post, but what for when I can give it a post of its own, and explain pointless things about it to you? ^_~

New Midi...
Heheh… my 7th Midi ^^ all right, so, this new Midi is by yet another band from the 80’s called The Cure. This song was really popular, and you can still hear it today on the radio… they play it at least once amongst the “80’s Weekend” specials on some radio stations. The cure has been considered more of an alternative-punk group, but at times, their songs seem more like pop, having that catchy beat like, Tears for Fears, and Erasure. The Cure’s songs are still used to make commercials too. Like those Verizon Picture phones. The song, “Pictures of You” plays during one of the commercials. Not only that, but The Cure still play to this day, as well as Depeche mode, Psychedelic Furs, The Rolling Stones, which is the only band that actually dies before your eyes, lol. Not to be offensive or anything, but the Rolling Stones have to be one of the oldest bands still playing. They’ve been around since the 60’s or 50’s I believe… but still, you have to give them credit… they may be old, but they can still play their instruments as though they’ve never aged a day after the first years they started. Not only that, but a lot of bands are coming back, and playing the oldies; like: Duran Duran, those mentioned before (Cure, Depeche, ect.), and there’s also a show on VH1 called Bands Reunited. Where they hint members of old 80’s bands down, and bring them together for one last performance. They’ve gotten bands like, A Flock of Seagulls, Dramarama, in hopes that they will continue playing in concerts… as a matter of fact, I think the Cure’s next concert is a week from now… or it could be this week… not sure. The Cure is famous all around, and if you were to ask anyone who’s a big fan of the 80’s, they’d know whom the Cure was if you asked. Plus, Morrisey is coming back. (Morrisey was also the main singer for The Smiths before Morrisey… just to clear that up) Morrisey is one of the biggest bands. Any car you see with a “Morrisey” sticker on it, I almost guarantee you it’s a woman driving it. All women love Morrisey… women found his voice really soothing, and romantic. And to this day, the main singer has thousands of millions of women swooning over him. But anyway, “Just Like Heaven” by the Cure is my new Midi of the week.

All right. So, time for my main post of the day (Must start writing more during week >_<). Yesterday, my brother Cameron got landed in the hospital, after complaining about severe stomach pains. When we got there, we waited a bit in the Waiting room… about 20 minutes before he collapsed, and fainted. It appeared that his Appendix burst, and that it had ruptured right then and there. So, they had the medics carry him off on a stretcher in to the emergency room. Gavin told me he was lucky, because when that happens, it spreads something poisonous… at least… I think that’s what he said. I really couldn’t tell, because it was about 1 am, I was half asleep, and we had just gotten back from my aunt’s, straight to the hospital (That hospital is a 24-hour one. They do check-ups, and operations through the night…) And I was woken up around 7 am to go with them to my aunt’s. So far yesterday, I only slept 3 hours. But today, I slept a bit longer. We stayed with Cameron all night the other day, and so, Gavin, Mike, and me fell asleep on the floor against a wall, waiting for the operation to be over. It was a success, but Cameron was still asleep, so we waited about 2 hours before we could actually talk to him. When he finally did awake though, the first thing he said was, “I’m gonna barf…” lol. The affects of the operation left Cameron a bit dizzy, so every time he stood, he’d fall over, or vomit. Not only that, but his stomach gets this sharp pain when standing or sitting up. They made a hole in his belly button, to get to his appendix, so now there’s this stitched up hole, heh. Not only that, but he seems extremely calm, and tired all the time… the medicine he takes to take away the pain causes him to sleep, so I’ve been missing him a lot. It’s not the same when he’s not around… and the doctors say he’ll be released by Wednesday or Thursday. That is if he gets better. If not, they’ll keep him till Saturday. So, we’re really hoping he’ll get better. It’s not fun without him here. So, we went to visit him today, and the doctor said Cameron is showing signs of stomach flu, and he thinks this could make Cameron worse than he already is. So they’re most likely gonna have to keep him for another week. But, we can visit all we want, and since the room is one of those private ones, where he doesn’t have to share with a roommate, we can stay over to make sure he’s okay. So for now, we’re just waiting to see what happens, and hope that he’s okay.

Midi #5: Tears For Fears_Shout
Change of plans. I decided not to use White Stripes as a Midi. So, I searched my MP3 files, and found one of my favorite songs. "Shout" by Tears for Fears. I chose this song for my new Midi because, if you listen to all of Tears for Fears songs, you'll find that all their songs are realiztic. And that's what makes them my 2nd favorite band.

Their lyrics are based on things we can all relate to. And, it takes a lot of thought to create such lyrics as these. And for that, I choose this song as my new Midi... until next Monday. And so, I come to a close.

Late... again...
Okay, okay. I realize I'm late for the whole "Change The Midi" thing, but I wasn't here, so you'll need to cut me some slack >__>" anyway, on with the Midi! Okay. So let's see... this is my third Midi methinks... so... *looks through MP3 folder* Bah, I said I'd be ready with the midi in my last post... I am irresponsible, lol. Lesse... alright, I've made a decision, the new Midi is: I Ran(So Far Away) by A Flock Of Seagulls.

This song was made by an old band from the 80's by the name, A Flock of Seagulls. This song was a a BIG hit backwhen, and still is today. It's so popular, that even teens, adults, and children can still recognize it's catchy tune, and beat. For those of you not so familiar with the song, you might recognize it from the television commercial for Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. I chose the song beacuase I thought it would be fun to bring back another one of those popular 80's songs, which many more are soon to come, I promise. So, enjoy this great midi... until Monday creeps around...

So, there's your Midi. I already have the next mid, and there's this huge post-it note on my desk, just to remind me. So, I'm hoping you'll be happy with my latest Midi.

You're Boarding with the Big Boys Now...
Yeap. Went back to Mt.High for the weekend, oh yes... it was time once again to give out a nice helping of board beatings. Only... instead of my giving the snow a beating... I got the beating >__<" I usually ride with Gavin, Cammie, and Mike on the intermediate/advanced hills, and slopes.

But not this week. I went with my eldest brother up there... he's one of the best they say. Most of the obsticle courses up there are really tough, and only really tough people actutally try them. Most guys don't even have the guts to think about trying them. But... my brother's crazy, so it doesn't count for him, heh. Well, my brother is 23 and he's much older than me, and much better at boarding. Going with him, I thought we were going to our normal advanced hills... when instead we took the Ski lift to the Expert hills. The hills are steep, and are hard to keep yourself from falling.

I took my board, locked my shoes in, and took it for a ride... as soon as I went down that hill, I slammed in to Mike, who slammed in to Cammie, who slammed in to Gavin, who slammed in to Jackie (My oldest brother's girlfriend), who slammed in to Jason (Her Brother) who slammed in to Dexter, who slammed in to a pole, which all of us behind did as well. Then, went around that, ran in to a power box, in to a ditch, and tumbled the rest of the way down. "Smooth... real smooth" Was all the 23 year-old could say to us, lol.

After a while, we got much, MUCH better,heh. After a while, we got a bit better... but I ate much, much snow... I guess that's what I get for saying Mt.High's slopes were a joke... I've never been in so much pain, though >__<" so, we're all reasting and stuff... and we're all really soar, heh. So we're taking it easy... but I have P.E. tomorrow o_O"
