ROAD TRIP!!!!

I haven’t been home for a while… so I haven’t been too active. We left early for Thanksgiving. We drove out over to Mt. High, where my uncle owns a cabin.

Then, there was the reunion. Oh the horror… my aunt was cooking again, as much as I love her, I must ask HOW you burn salad O__o” it’s impossible!

Of course, it was cold; mum made us wear layers of clothing. Cameron wore a thick snow jacket, with headphones, and a beanie with a roller (A roller is a beanie with the end rolled up for those who don’t know) all of us wore gloves, and some kind of beanie… mother’s rules sadly -__-

Gavin had these huge headphones on (I don’t know what’s wrong with earmuffs) and about two sweaters, a snow jacket, and a Quicksilver scarf. Dexter the same, but he had a low beanie on, with a pair of thick boarding goggles, and of course, a snowboard. Mike was crazy. He went up with nothing but a random shirt, some thick pants, goggles, a tall beanie, and gloves. And I wasn’t really forced to do anything. I wore some thick cargo pants, two sweaters, and gloves.

Plus, I wore my favorite hat, a Nordic beanie (Those beanies with the huge ear flaps, and usually a fuzzy ball on top, I think people in the Alps wear them), given to me from my friend, his sister made it. It’s a black one, with a jagged white line going across, and on the front, it says ‘Ginnel’ which was his nickname for me.

Randy couldn’t be here this Thanks, because he had joined the Air force a year ago, his unit of operatives work on building planes, in Italy. He got married a while back, and just had a little girl. Gods, when we got there, the first thing to happen was me, of course as always… getting pelted from snowballs. Eventually, it was over, and I finally made my way in to the cabin, after nearly drowning in snow.

Once I stepped in, I threw myself on the couch, and fell asleep for a LONG, LONG time… woke up for turkey, right before I could get to the turkey, I stumbled outside to see Mike playing around. He had a silly dog collar on, with the leash at the end. He was spinning it around, it then got stuck, and he pulled his head back only to be jerked forward and rammed his head in to a pole. And all he said was; “Wha? Who put that there?”

Idiot. It was an interesting weekend indeed. I also learned the law of physics. Brothers named Gavin should keep from flying off of high, steep ramps, to keep from a broken leg -.O” in other words, go nuts ^^ as for me, I like the ground very much thank you! Heh, as for now, time to turn in ^^
