Aran
Yeap. Big brother Aran is leaving… it’s sad, cause he came to our house, in the rain dripping wet, with all his stuff, sort of like a dog who lost his way… all soggy and wet, but you can’t turn him down, cause you feel so bad, plus, you must admit to yourself, he looks pretty adorable (In that family-related way that is), and you just can’t turn down a face like that. I remember how Aran just appeared out of nowhere, with just a rucksack, a backpack, and a soggy and dripping husky- all white, with piercing blue eyes, just like his master. Aran looked almost exactly like the way he does everyday, except now, his hair was wet, and looked a lot shinier. With a shag of brown hair, that kept falling over his eyes, and a t-shirt that spilled over the top of his pants, with chains hooked all along his pockets. Aran’s sneakers were untied, and everything. Mom just laughed at him, and he just let out with weird whining noise. That was the first time I ever me Aran. That was last year I think. Aran, Mike, Cameron, and Aran are my half brothers. But, I had met Cammie, Mike, and Gavin when I was seven. So, I knew them before Aran… he was eighteen then. Then, in December, he turned 19… and now, he’s off to college, where he’ll spend his days in a dorm room. It’s odd, but I actually am starting to miss him… and he hasn’t even left o_O; Aran was always the mellowest of us all, and he got this one quote stuck in our heads. When you strike a deal, or do a favor for one, you’re solid. The time I had gotten in trouble with mom for breaking her car window with a bat, after accidentally letting it go, he took the blame. And no matter how much I pleaded him to tell me how I could return the favor, alls he said to me was: “Nothing. Just remember: I do you solid… and you do me solid.” And with that, he’d leave; his dog followed him with the same stride as his. I myself found that really cool, cause the way he said it, and left you thinking was really weird, and to wake up, and realize he left you totally dazed with that one sentence was pretty cool.

He also talked really slowly, heh. He’d say one, or a small group of words only every couple of seconds. So, you’d ask him something, and he’d just say, “… Oh… what?” or, “… Have you ever… really noticed… that our sister is… really… really… short?” (Which I really am not that short… it’s just, all my brothers are, or are a little past six foot and three inches. And me being five foot, six inches make me seem short. But… I’m not.) It’s things like this that will make me miss Aran, but not as much as Cameron. Cameron is going all out for Aran. Aran was the one who took all blame, and announced how he, and one of us were solid. Although, we still stop and wonder just what it is that he expects to get from his solid bond. Which is okay with me… I mean, solid is what made him and me bond anyway. I hated Aran—he was a smart ass, he called me “Tickie” (Which, I never really minded until he started singing that song by Disney’s Three Caballeros, heh.). But, there’s one moment him and me had, that will make me miss Aran most… When he said: “… And, seeing as how you’re my sister… and I… *He sort of stuttered here* l-love you… *shudders* we’re solid. You’re the runt of the litter… my runt… and, you being picked on by all the others isn’t fair… so, being the male- I mean benevolent person I am, I shall protect you my runt. And it won’t cost you a thing, because we’re just cool like that… oh, and… I ate your entire Snicker stash, and I-O-U (I had been wondering what happened to my Snickers, but all there was, was an I-O-U note card o_O;). So, I’ll miss Aran Samus Mackenzie Maelgwyn Elias B. (I always laugh at how long his name is ^_^) and I hope he comes back home soon…
