If only I were able to take away your pain,
Your lonliness, and your hurt.
You'd live a happy life,
Away from the people who'd treat you like dirt.
I want to be your angel, love, and light,
Knowing if you suffer,
I want to too.
Feeling what you feel day and night.
I'd hold you close and kiss your tears.
Hoping this true touch I'm feeling,
Surpasses your fears.
