Oh CRAP
Ahahaha, its the week just b4 that SPECIAL day--and I still haven't got presents for my ppls yet (gulps, imagines the MOB that's gonna be after her...)
Well, I just heard that one of the Philippines islands (my mom and dad's happy homes place) just got flooded, cuz the dam holding the river just broke...and uh, my mom told me my big and lil cousins that I haven't even MET yet are on that flooded isle right now.
I dunno why Imma telling this to u ppls but Im worried, like to the bottom of the pits of my stomach worried... i can't imagine houses being tipped to the roofs with water, dead farm animals and PEOPLE everywhere, and no access to the damm TOWNS for food and supplies...
(gets an instant "furashuubaku" from New Orleans)
So my mom and uncle decided to give out some money for my cousins--meaning I decided naturally to help out. Leading back to getting presents. Well lemme just say this ONE thing I learned this year (and not in this corney way that I wrote down on my rough copy...): The people that don't have much down there have just gotten even poorer. And as I look 'round my house, I just can't help but say how LUCKY I am...
So, umm, that's all I really needed to rant about. Nothing much. Though you'll be seeing me praying double this week....
(oh yea, 3 days is spiralstars b-day. so do give her the smacks for me ^^)
