Japan
My sister's husband is in the Air Force and he is being sent to Misawa Japan. I'm so jealous, I want to go to Japan so bad. And now, after many months, they are finally in Japan. It was a long plane ride. They got there sometime yesterday evening. I'm hoping to go visit them next summer, but there are definitely no guarantees. A plane ticket alone is around $1,000. I want to go so bad!

Zayn-Part 3
Zayn made up his mind that he was leaving that night, under the cover of darkness.

That day he was again given water four times. That same night, he lay awake and waited until everyone disappeared into their tents and went to sleep. He waited an hour longer to make sure no one else was coming and for everyone already here to fall into a deeper sleep and not hear him leaving.
He slowly got up and began walking quietly the way he was dragged in. His body ached with each step.
Almost ten minutes had passed until he heard footsteps behind him. It sounded like there were three people. Zayn quickened his pace; his pursuers were still a ways behind him. Zayn heard his followers begin to run; he decided to do the same, despite the pain. He spotted another path that branched off the one he was already on. His pursuers were gaining on him. Zayn cursed, his tribe was genetically faster than this one; he should have no problem out-running them. In a split-second he decided to veer off of this path and onto the new one. He was surprised to see how big this path really was. It was too big to be called a path. It was wide enough for 10 men to walk through side-by-side. Each side was thick with trees.
Zayn was almost halfway through when his pursuers entered the path behind him. Zayn’s eyes widened, not only was he being followed, but now there were men at the end of the path running towards him. He was trapped.
Zayn turned sharply to his right and ran into the forest hoping to find somewhere to hide until his enemies gave up looking for him. He stopped running, nobody was following him anymore, no one else had run into the forest behind him.
Zayn’s ears moved; he heard many footsteps running towards him coming from deeper in the forest. These were not the sound human feet. “Oh great,” Zayn muttered. In his haste to get away from his enemy, he hadn’t realized where he was running. He knew why nobody had followed him into the forest.
It was pitch black. Neither the moon nor the star’s light could penetrate through the thick canopy of trees. All Zayn had ever seen of these creatures were their eyes and teeth. What Zayn did know was that these things were small, the size of a baby goat, and they always traveled in packs the size of ten or more.
Zayn reached instinctively for his sword. He grabbed and air and remembered that it had been taken from him. He took off his sword’s scabbard and tried to fend off the creatures as best as he could.

Zayn-Part 2
Here's the next installment for all my anxious fans...

He knew that he was soon going to meet the leader of the clan.
Zayn watched the man sitting in the hammock. They leader’s eyes looked at their small group making their way towards him with their prisoner in tow. The fire stopped in front of their leader. He smirked in Zayn’s direction; his white teeth seemed to glow in the light of the fire. “I’ve been waiting for a long time for one of you to wander in our territory again.”
At a glance one could tell what tribe Zayn belonged to. Everyone in his tribe had three thick, vertical black lines under their right eye, ending level to their lips. Zayn chose not to reply to the leader’s remark.
The leader looked at Zayn’s escorts. “Lay him against a log near the fire.”
After roughly putting Zayn on the ground with his head resting on a small log, Zayn’s captors retired to their own tents. As a prisoner, Zayn was surprised that he wasn’t restrained in any way. Even though he was too weak to escape at the moment, he never imagined any enemy taking the risk of their prisoner getting away. Zayn looked around again, the only person he saw that wasn’t in a tent was the leader, and he had already fallen asleep. No one was guarding him. But he knew that starting in the morning, he was in a position to be watched by the entire clan.
Despite his efforts not to, Zayn fell asleep. He had been fighting a losing battle trying to keep his eyes open. It wasn’t wise to sleep while in enemy territory.

When Zayn woke up, the fire had been extinguished and the sun was high up in the sky. The leader had gotten up from his hammock and was nowhere to be seen. Like Zayn had predicted, there were plenty of people out of their tents going about their daily business.
Zayn groaned; his body ached even more now than it had last night. His nighttime attackers had made sure that they hadn’t broken any of his bones, but wherever he looked, a bruise had either formed, of was in the process of forming.
He was ignored all day except for the four times someone came over and helped him drink a cup of water. The idea of walking around was nonexistent. Zayn didn’t even want to sit up. He never moved from the place he was lain the night before.
That night he never saw the leader come back to his hammock before he fell asleep.

The next morning when Zayn woke up, he quickly realized that it was dawn. Much earlier than he had woken up the day before. He saw that the leader was sitting in his hammock talking to a man that had his back towards Zayn. He knew that the sound of their conversation had caused him to wake up. The two were talking softly, but Zayn was close enough to them that he could hear almost every word.
When Zayn had hear enough to learn that their topic of discussion was their prisoner, Zayn closed his eyes again so they wouldn’t know that he was listening.
The stranger was telling the leader that the day before, Zayn had done nothing but lie in the same place and sleep from time to time. The leader made a comment about how badly he was beaten. There was a short pause then the other man asked if maybe their prisoner was too afraid to try and escape.
Zayn didn’t hear much of their conversation after that. The stranger’s comment angered him. Why would he be afraid?
The conversation ended shortly thereafter. Zayn opened an eye; neither of the two men was looking at him. Zayn was able to see the face of the stranger; it was one of the four people who had given him water the day before.
Zayn made up his mind that he was leaving that night, under the cover of darkness.

Zayn-Part 1
This is something that I have written recently, and I like it. It's kind of long, so i'll put it up in pieces so I don't overwhelm my fans...

The darkness began to feel heavy, as if it were pushing down on him. Zayn knew this feeling; danger was very near.
Zayn stopped running, he heard a bowstring tighten behind him. He slowly turned his head to see the sharp tip of the arrow pointed at him from only a few feet away. Zayn tightened his grip on his sword; his fingers immediately found their place on the grooves of the hilt. But before he had the chance to strike, he heard the horrifying sound of four more bowstrings.
In the thick darkness, the enemy’s outline slowly became visible behind the arrows. Zayn cursed inwardly, he had gotten himself surrounded; he had been too careless.
Zayn ran his thumb up and down on the sword’s rough hilt. He couldn’t attack five people at once, and if he went for one, he would feel the searing pain of four more arrows. Despite his situation, Zayn’s pride wouldn’t allow him to admit defeat.
Surprisingly, instead of feeling an arrow, Zayn felt someone kick him in his back. He clumsily stumbled forward. The attacker from behind took advantage of Zayn’s surprise, clenched his fist and punched Zayn right below his neck. He used enough strength to cause Zayn to fall onto his knees.
Unable to recover quick enough, Zayn had to endure the brutal beating of five men. His sword was forcefully wrenched from his hand. He was helpless; he couldn’t even defend himself.
In Zayn’s mind, he had to endure the pain for hours. He was never able to get up, there was never a moment that someone wasn’t hitting him or keeping on the ground. Then finally, after endless torment, he was shown mercy. Unfortunately, Zayn was too weak to take advantage of this break from pain. Unable to get up himself, Zayn was grabbed under each arm and pulled up. He was then dragged along the dirt path. He spotted his sword on the belt of the man carrying him on his left.
After being dragged for a half an hour, Zayn’s arms now ached even more. By his surroundings, he knew they were getting close to his escorts’ destination. There was a cluster of tents made from canvas. All the tents formed a large circle. All the openings of the tents pointed inward. In the center of the circle there was a raging fire. The top of the fire reached higher than any of the tents.
Near the fire, in a fairly large space between two tents, stood two trees. The top and bottom of a hammock was tied to each tree. Zayn was being dragged to that hammock. He knew that he was soon going to meet the leader of the clan.
