Music: Pink Killer - Dir en Grey, Shout at the Devil - Laraku, Letterbomb - Green Day, Rain Aquafield theme - .hack//game music OST
Fwah! Love Green Day. And Laraku is not their actual name up there (for SatD) it's just that lazy nickname that I used because I'm wayy too tired to type the entire name. And my explanation just killed the purpose of that, but look, Laraku is fun to say in your head and outloud. And quite honestly, I don't feel like reaching for the dash button on my keyboard.
Ah anyway, I've taken the time to listen to Game music, something I haven't done since I discovered the joy of pretty j-rockers. I do like instrumentals, I create stuff like that on my keyboard (piano hehe XD) all the time, just haven't been doing it lately until Shinya came and forced me to teach her stuff on my keyboard. Che, I've gotten so rusty on it, I feel bad >>.
I need to pick up my guitar again too T.T Kyodai will kill my ass if I don't >> She's been playing her bass and all too. I now have to reteach myself the whole guitar concept T.Tu God, that's going to take too long....
Anyway, I added a new pic. It's Kaji and her husband-but-doesn't-know-it-yet Aki. Aki's from an original manga (that I will work on perhaps in the next century). Tis pretty, but I picked up like six mistakes RIGHT after I posted it on >> why does that always happen XD
Cha, now I have dot hack game music in my head. Anyone who hasn't played the games, I really do urge you, the battle system is my FAVORITE type. I hate the party attacks where you take 'turns', so anti-climatic (still can be good though). I think it's perhaps cause I'm mindless and I like to go in there and slash things (and it makes it all the more bad when some huge monster comes out and basically sits on you and kills you in one hit). Actually nah, I like that freedom you get with a chara on the open-field (not sure the word oO I'm not a serious gamer, just an RPG lover) battle systems. Dark Cloud's a good one too, and guess what Shinya, I finally bought it XDD And I started it too, and I'd marry Max if his voice wasn't icky and the fangirls wouldn't maim me.
But yes, back to my dot hack rant, it's a great game. Plot line is AMAZING, but I swear it's like my writing style. It starts off REALLY good, keeps you captivated until the final act, where it ends randomly and a completely killer ending >> the last feeling is like "What the HELL oOU?"
But it wasn't that bad of an ending, .hack//Tasogare no udewa densetsu takes the cake for bad ending >> what the HELL was up with that third book? I didn't get the ending at ALL >>
I think .hack//AI buster was the only one that ended with something you actually understood, but that was a prequel, so now that killed it >>
Yea, so anyway, if you want a good game with a great plot and fun hack-slash-blowupthings kind of battles, dot hack is for you.
And hell, while I've already submitted a game review, I might as well add little ratings.
Music: 9/10
Plot: 7/10
Battle System: 8/10
Graphics: 7/10
Dungeon Concept: 5/10
Monsters: 6/10
Overall: 8/10
And don't go on to me about the overall not being the correct average, I know it would technically be 7/10. I'm just weighing out which is worth more >>
PS: I promise to get to my band rant sometime. I'm just procrastinating <3
-Au Revoir (cause I felt like using French >>)
