   anime in high definition sucks!
So, I watched some anime on my high-def tv and it looked like crap. Yeah, I was expecting a good detailed picture since they were dvds but no, the video looked very grainy and it was all pixelated and stuff. My other movies like Terminator 3 and Freddy VS. Jason look really sweet on this tv but, why not my anime? Atleast they still look pretty good on my regular one, though. I found something else to occupy my time. How about a chicken that does what you say? I found SubservientChicken.com and umm, it's kind of freaky. It's apparently sponsored by Burger King and this chicken does almost everything(yes, almost everything. There's some things it won't understand) you tell it to do. Well, I gots to go. Oops, I disturbed the peace
With the house empty except for myself, I popped in AC/DC: Who Made Who into the player and turned the volume up past 5. The player goes all the way up to 10 but, my wife didn't like my loud music and I usually had to keep it set on 1 or wear headphones. While I was enjoying my music, someone pulled up close to my house and turned up some rap music in their car. I don't like other music drowning out my own so I cranked the volume to 10. The car left and 45 mins later, a cop knocks on my door. They recieved a few complaints about my music and the officer was pretty nice about it. I agreed to turn it down and he left. I just turned it completely off and now I'm going to bring some anime into the living room and watch it in *Loud anouncer voice* HIGH DEFINITION. I got some coffee brewing too and nothing is better for late weekend nights than anime&caffeine! Well, I'll stop blabbering now. I'm sure you wouldn't want to spend any more time reading my life. I'm an egomaniac and I am very full of myself(even though everybody says that I'm full of something else......) and I like talking about myself. Take care, everyone!

   Too hot too early
Just a couple of days ago, I had to wear a jacket outside. Today, it got over 90 degrees! That's the usual summer temp out here but, the temp changed from 50 something degrees to 90 in just 2 days and it's hitting us pretty hard. I took down the windows and put up the lighter ones I use during summer. I usually don't do this 'til mid May and I wonder what the temps going to be in mid summer if it got this hot already.

My wife left for Bristol, England this morning to see her family and I'm now all alone until next Saturday. The relatives haven't seen my daughter so, my wife made plans for all of us to go. Unfortunately, I couldn't take any time off of work and I'm stuck here. It's still good, I can get away with alot of stuff without anybody here*evil grin*. Well, I gots to go. I'll prolly post something later tonight if I get bored.

just waisted an hour
I'm taking a small break from watching Season 1 of The Slayers and decided to check out an anime called "Sailor Victory" and no, it has nothing to do with Sailor Moon. Sailor Victory in my opinion, wasn't worth the hour I spent on it. It's about these girls who pilot mecha suits and fight law breakers that an inept police force can't handle(Oh, How original.....). It's very short, there's no character developement, and the whole show felt like a rehash of Gundam and Thunderbirds(there's a fake pool that hides an aircraft like in the Thunderbirds). I felt like I seen this movie a million times because the plot is stolen from about 50 other animes and the mechs they use are nothing real original either. Well, I just had to rant about this. What's the worst anime you've ever seen? Sailor Victory was pretty bad but, the absolute worst I ever saw was "Cool Devices". I had(yes, I was forced) to watch it at my friend's house and I can't think of anything worse than it. I'm not going to describe Cool Devices here, you'll just have to search for that.

So far, so good.
This is turning out to be a good week so far. Yesterday, the UPS guy delivered my Slayers box set and I actually have something to watch today. Tomorrow, I'm back to hauling metal to peoria after a few days in the furnace room. I've been getting better sleep since returning to work so, I'm a little more energized and refreshed. How's everyone else's week going? Well, I might post a few more fan-fics up, I just got a few more ideas. The ideas are easy to come up with in my head but, it seams hard to actually put them on paper. Well anyway, I gots to go for now. Take care.

Woo Hoo!
Today, I finally got Cartoon Network! I couldn't have it before 'cause my town forbid cable or satellite except for the "Angel Network" but today, I got Dish Network after they loosened up on the ordinances here in town. It was also the first time I saw a dragonball episode. I'm not going to have an opinion on it 'til I watch more. I've watched Cartoon Network before at other places but, I didn't know their anime programming was mostly made up of dragonball. Ah well, it's sure better than watching EWTN or TBN(basically all I had before) all the time so, Pat Robertson, BYE-BYE!*waves bye-bye to Pat Robertson and all the other people on the religious channels*

P.S. I have nothing against Pat Robertson but, a person can only take so much of "The 700 Club".

   Home again with nothing to do.
I only had to spend a couple of hours in the furnace room at work and then, I got sent home. In my boredom, I tried thinking of some fan-fiction to post here. Well, I got a few ideas and I came up with a couple of deleted scenes from Magic Knight Rayearth. I don't have much of an imagination but, this is the best I can come up with.

Master Mage Clef:(interupts Umi)*in a drunken slur* Hey purty lady, where'd you come from?*belches*

Clef: (interupts Umi again)*in a drunken slur* BITCH, YOU DON'T KNOW ME!! Oh, I'm sorry I yelled. You wanna make out in the pillar room? I asked the funny marshmallow thing for a drink and it gave me this whiskey stuff from a place called Tennessee and...and..it's good...very, very good.

Umi slaps Clef and walks away in anger.

Clef: (still in a drunken slur)Bah! She'll come come back, they always do....*raises fist* THEY ALWAYS DO!! Oh man, I think I gotta hurl........

   More than I expected
Since work was still going a little slow, I thought I'd only be working a few hours. Nope, I actually got a full day and some overtime. It's good to be back at work but, they switched me to another position for yhis week. I used to haul the clean to metal Peoria and help unload the truck. Today, I had to work the damn furnace. Imagine shoving scrap metal into a huge furnace in a building that has to be a constant 115 degrees. I only have to do this for a couple of days(so they tell me) and hopefully, I can go back to roaming the road. It sucks in the furnace building. Workers(I don't even know the names of my coworkers, isn't that sad?) are normally in there for 3 hours at a time 'cause of the heat but, I had to put up with 10. I'm sorry I'm laying all this out here but, I just love to rant and complain. If a day goes by without me finding something to complain about, I'll go crazy..........ok, I'll stop ranting now.

Another Monday morning...
Today, I get to go to work after a very slow couple of weeks. Things are starting to pick up but, I won't be surprised to get off early today. It'll probably be that way until things are in full swing again. After that, I probably wont be bored enough to make more of these quizzes(ok, I might since these are actually a little bit fun to make).

Bored?
What do you do when you're bored? Well, I'm pretty bored right now and I'm wondering what websites are good to keep someone busy. I'm trying to think of a story for a fanfic but, I can't think of any good ideas. It's nice outside so, I took my daughter out for a little stroll this morning. It's funny how the people in this town are nice and act as if they like me when she's with me but when I'm alone, they are total jerks. Well anyway, she seems to be occupied by her hand right now. She just lays in her crib wide-eyed and stares at her hand. I wish it was that easy for me to keep entertained. I go through other MyOtaku sites and sign g-books but, it gets tiresome after awhile. I like talking to people but, I'm done with messageboards for now(nothing but "sub vs dub" and "Inayasha vs [insert name of character here]" posts) and I was wondering if anybody knew of any good places.
