   What's wrong with me?
Ok, I love video games but lately, I haven't had the urge to play them. Last month, I bought a Simpsons game for my XBOX. It is still on my dresser inside of the Wal-Mart bag pretty much untouched since the day I brought it home. I haven't played any video games(except for a few pc games I downloaded but, I haven't been playing them much either) for over a month. I used to play them after I put Michelle to bed but lately, I've been going for the remote to watch Fox News. I've become a Fox News Junkie. I watch it in the morning, I glance at the tv at work, and I watch it at home. What kind of Power does Fox News hold that keeps me away from my video game controller? I'm glad I still make time for anime, though. I've been spending more and more time with my family, too. What's happening to me?! Bored? So am I...

Arrrrrrrggggg! I have some more frustration to vent here.
"Hulk Hogan's Rock 'n' Wrestling" is not anime! A new video store opened up in town and I was surprised to see that they had a section for anime but, there was a problem.......There so called "anime/japanese cinema" section only had one title and it wasn't even anime. They had a few copies of the same "Hulk Hogan's Rock 'n' Wrestling" volume in that section and nothing else. Needless to say, I was very frustrated. Maybe in the near future, they'll get some more stuff(they didn't have much of anything in any other section, either) but until then, I'll take my business elsewhere. I didn't want to make a big deal out of this but, I just can't get over it.

Pokemon....A jewish conspiracy?
I personally don't like pokemon but, I got curious(I was also very bored) as to how religious people percieved it. This site details the popularity that Pokemon had around the world. Here's a quote from the site I just mentioned..............

A jewish conspiracy? No. Pokemon has no religious message. It's just childrens' entertainment and marketing tools. The whole pokemon fad is almost dead and soon, the whiney religious groups will try to put down the next big fad.

I hate waiting weeks for stuff that I order. I ordered The Slayers DVD box set a couple of weeks ago and I still haven't gotten it. I know this happens alot but, I just hate waiting. I order my stuff through RightStuf.com and sometimes, I get my items in less than a week and other times, it could take months. Well, I hope it comes soon. I always get overly anxious and impatient when I have something coming to me.

Manga are not Coloring Books!
Yaaarrrrrgggggggg! This past friday, I got some new Slayers Manga from an online store and I after I quickly skimmed through it, I went to put it in my manga box until I got more time to read it. What did I find? If you guessed an empty box, you are correct. My wife found my Mangas and threw them away! When I asked her why she did it, she asked, "Aren't you a little old to be looking at coloring books?". AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! Ok, I understand how she would've thought they were coloring books but, it still doesn't make it alright to throw someone elses stuff in the trash. She apologized but, I couldn't stay mad at her. I think I'll go out and buy all the manga that I once had and forget about this whole thing. So, if you have any manga laying around, hide it somewhere and inform your friends/family that your manga ARE NOT COLORING BOOKS!

Dub or Sub..........WHO FRIGGIN' CARES?!
Why is there a "Sub Vs. Dub" debate at every anime message board I visit? Just today, I saw about 3 of them at few boards and I'm just getting sick of it. It wouldn't be all that bad if it was 10 years ago and the VHS was the main anime media. It's ok to say that you prefer sub over dub or vice-versa but, they all end up turning into flame wars. What's the point in arguing this anyway? The invention of the dvd let's you choose which language you want. I know some people still don't have dvd players but, there is still no point in arguing over anime dialogue. It's simple. If you like dubs, go ahead and keep watching dubs. If you prefer subs, watch subs. You won't be any less of a person no matter how you like your anime. With that said, I'm going to go watch Magic Knight Rayearth SUBBED and if you don't like it, that's just too damned bad. I'll watch my anime the way I want and you can go watch yours the way you want it.

And my weekend comes to a close.
Tomorrow is the start of another long work week for me but, I managed to talk my wife into letting me buy more anime. I am expecting the Slayers box set(1st season) in a few weeks and I can't wait to get it. I got it HERE for only 55 bucks(for short time)! I have the set on VHS but, I couldn't pass up the DVDs at this price. Besides buying more anime, my weekend went on as usual. I'm kinda bored now so, I think I'll visit some message boards.

Update: The sale on the slayers box set is over and the price is back up to over 80 bucks.
