A DARKENED VOICE
why
why do you cry?
Why do heavy tears
Flow down your cheek
Has someone died?
Has someone hurt you?
Your collar is drenched
You cry for something
For someone
Yet you cease to tell me
Why?
Has death arosed?
Have they come for you?
Have they knocked on your door,
And taken your soul away from you?
Yes
That is why you shed Such
Heavy tears
The one who died
The one you cry for
Is you....
You are nothing but a memory
An image
A body wandering in search
Of a place to rest
Yet you will never rest
You walk amongst the living
Why?
Are you afraid?
Afraid of death?
Afraid of being forgotten?
You continue to pray
At heavens gate
You beg
You sob
Yet they will never open
Not for you
You are one of the damned
A souless being
Acursed being
You will never rest
You will never stop sobbing
You will always feel pain
For you are one of the damned
And you belong to me.....
