The ringing and singing of Bells

Notice To All: Karmilicious is sending out Christmas cards, if you would like one (and please don't be hesitant to ask, I'm very excited about doing this), leave me your address in a PM, (the one that you'll be at from now until the 25th) and you will recieve a personalized christmas/winter holiday card, complete with Karmi artwork and whatnot.

Short post for today. I went to the mall yesterday, shopping was excellent. Bought a KICK ASS bra from Victoria's Secret, a Faye Valentine shirt which is just too damn cool from Hot Topic, volumes 8 and 9 of Gravitation (shonen ai goodness, biatch), and more of Burt's Bee's chapstick cause that stuff is excellent.Oh, and a Christmas present for my best friend. So isss ALL good. Today we're going to downtown Charleston for even more shopping, yay! Not much else is up...have a good day e'rebody!

.:Well, we were talking about this thing...:.

Shinmaru: Yea, it's a bummer that I've already met someone who makes me that angry. But I don't think that, by nature, I'm a hateful person. Thanks for the congrats!
Baron Samedi: Thank you! ^-^
Godel: Oh God, teachers like that piss me off so much. I think they do it out of pure spite. They're just bitter. ;p
hEvN: Boil water, and then put some chemicals in it, wait until they dissolve, and then put the pipe cleaner thing in there and leave it be overnight. I forget what the chemicals were, I'll ask my Chem teacher tommorow for you though.
lea: Teehee!!
Sara: Public humiliation, it's a beautiful thing.

.:It wasn't that interesting, anyway.:.

Something About Something

Notice To All: Karmilicious is sending out Christmas cards, if you would like one (and please don't be hesitant to ask, I'm very excited about doing this), leave me your address in a PM, (the one that you'll be at from now until the 25th) and you will recieve a personalized christmas/winter holiday card, complete with Karmi artwork and whatnot.

Results from tests are as such:

Algebra II - Conics: 81.
Chemistry - Solutions: 98.
English III - Catcher In The Rye: 98.

My English grade for this quarter is so going to rock...and hopefully counter the 55 I got last quarter...Although I think it really is a testament to how much stress and family problems can affect your grades, considering I changed the grade from downright failing to a high A in the course of one quarter. (Just in case anyone's wondering about what I'm talking about, last semester was the one where I moved out for about a week and a half cause my dad was getting abusive again, and there was a lot of stress on me from school and I was in a very awkward situation as far as romantic relationships go, blah blah etc.) Both my algebra and chemistry teacher gave me a break, letting me take tests a day later and what not, but my English teacher absolutely did not care, even when she managed to drag out the whole story as to what was going on.

It's not often that a person truly inspires hate in my heart, it's mostly just 'oh, you're annoying/obnoxious' or 'you make me jealous'. But I out and out hate this woman. It's not a nice emotion, but one that is quite real and powerful. I'm glad I'm doing so much better in her class though, now if only I can ace the final....

One more week kids. ONE MORE WEEK.

Chemistry was sooo fun today. Look, we made Christmas ornaments!

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

The one on the left is pipe cleaners covered in crystals, the one on the right is a mirror in a test tube, which we made with silver nitrate. I think I'm going to use the test tube as an earring, heheh. Way coolness.

The End.

.:So What Else Is New?:.

OtakuSennen: That's because all your clothing is generic and lame. (Although, come to think of it, so is 80% of the stuff in HT...)
Shinmaru: Yea, I love Holden's humour. My favorite line is still the one on the first page though: "and all that David Copperfield kind of crap." XD
My Swedish Sex Kitten: Yes, it's like German fantasic meets American orgasm. Bwahaha!

.:Not Much.:.

Christmas Cards

Okay everybody, I've got important news. This year, I will be sending out CHRISTMAS CARDS! So everyone who wants one, please PM me with the address you will be at between now and the 25th, and you will get one that is specially selected just for you including Karmi artwork and perhaps some pictures if you want. MUCHAS CHRISTMAS LOVE TO ALL, EVEN IF YOU'RE JEWISH OR MUSLIM OR ATHEIST OR SOME WEIRD RELIGION!!! (Oh, if you want a religion-speicific christmas card, tell me, so I don't end up sending someone Jewish a card with a christmas tree on it...^^;;)

Anyway, I just finished reading The Catcher in the Rye, and it was an excellent book! I think that and The Great Gatsby were my two favorites out of all the books I've read this year, besides Catch-22, which was also a bloody fantastic book. Back to Catcher. At first, Holden kind of pissed me off, but then I started looking deeper into his character, and then I took the test on the book today which provided a lot of insight (it's funny how you don't think about certain things until somebody asks you a question about them...) and then I was like "wow! this is great!" But yea. Very good book. Read it if you ever get the chance.

I took two other tests today too, one on conics in algebra, and one on solutions in chemistry. I think I did fairly well on both of them, I don't know, I've kind of been slacking off 3rd and 4th quarter, and it's showing. But that is irrelevant in the face of Christmas vacation. All is irrelevant in the face of Christmas vacation.

VACATIONS PWN ALL!

T-tah-anyway, the only other thing of interest was that I went to the mall Tuesday night, and bought the The Dresden Dolls first official CD. THE ALBUM FUCKING ROCKS. They have this really phantasmagorical sound that I've never really heard before, think Tori Amos meets german cabaret meets alternative rock and you'll have some idea of how trippy they are. The album art was gorgeous too, they are extremely creative, and the lyrics, oh god the lyrics make me want to org--

Anyway. Go buy The Dresden Dolls.

I also stopped by in Hot Topic, it had been sucking bad and not in the good way lately, but they got all new merchandise and I found a Franz Ferdinand band-tee which was spifftastic, and then a Foamy shirt which said "Squirrely Wrath!!" which was really hysterical, and then, kick-assedness of all kick assedness, I found a Faye Valentine shirt and a Spike shirt and they were WAY COOL.

So. {Me + Mall + Mom's Money} x Saturday = YES.

That's all I have to say.

.:Commentary:.

Mimmi: Only if I can jump too. Skinny dipping, anyone? :D
Shinmaru: SWEET MOTHER OF ATHEISM I DON'T KNOW! Maybe it's just cause you suck. Or maybe it's because Catholicism sucked on you...* strange mental images *
OtakuSennen: Thanks Nick, I really needed to know that.

Confessional Poet

I got a 98 on my portfolio. The one that I've been stressing about for three months. The one that has made me think I've lost it on more than one occasion. The one that counts SIXTEEN TIMES.

IT COUNTS SIXTEEN TIMES AND I GOT A NINTY EIGHT ON IT.

I cried in happiness when I found out. Now all I have to do is ace The Catcher In The Rye and get a B on the final and I'll get through English III with a decent grade. * prostrates herself and prays *

Finals are next week...when the fuck did that happen?! x_x Still. Two weeks. TWO MORE WEEKS AND THEN THIS HELL IS OVER! Christmas...so...close.

Drowning in Your Dizzy Noise, I want to hear you Scream.

.:Tell Me What You Think:.

Shinmaru: I take it jackshit means nothing?
DeathKnight: I want a driver's lisence. ;-;
Lea: Yay for random goodness!
OtakuSennen: I hate the cold, but I love the snow. I'm a walking contradiction. ;)
Solo: That "..." was rather suggestive. * peers at you suspiciously *

.:Because Your Opinion Matters! * cough *:.

I had the perfect weekend.

Absolutely beautiful, perfect, wonderful Saturday. Got thirteen hours of sleep last night which is more than I've had...all week, took a SHOWER (haven't had one of those in a couple of days, school is bad for your health, kids.) which was long, hot, and glorious, watched a Governor of California movie, went out with Mommy and MK downtown, wandered around in really excellent shops, found this really cool hippie-Buddha place and this random knick-knack shoppe (MK bought us two matching Ireland patches for a bookbag, so awesome). OH AND WE FOUND A FARM OMG OMG OMG IT WAS SOOOO COOOL!!!!11!1!1 (<~ yes, it was so great it made me lose all my typing skills.) It was one of the stables that had the horses for the carriage rides except they were mules and they were terribly cute and there were two goats that kept trying to eat our pants and this adorable little doll-pony (really, really tiny pony) which was so furry and soft. And then this stable guy was hitting on me and asked me, "Is that the first time you've ever petted a horse?" To which I replied, "No, I ride horses, I have for about three years."

Wham, bam, thank you ma'm. Dumbass.

I hate guys who use the condescending "oh you're so cute and stupid". Because although I may do some stupid crap, and I may be gulliable to a fault (see: africanized bees and "it's really atkins approved popcorn?!"), but I am not Jessica Simpson. And I hate boys who think they can treat me that way. But maybe I'm overreacting, lol. MK told me he was just desperate to start a conversation. So he just picked the wrong way to do it.

Then went out to eat at the most ROCKIN' MEXICAN JOINT EVER.

Besides Taco Bell, but you know.

That place was made for teenagers. Massive amounts of delicious, melty-gooey food for cheap, and it was actually good. Really, really good. They had QUESO DIP. * orgasm *

Then, the were holding this big show for the lighting of the 60 foot christmas tree downtown, and it was so cool! Pretty, pretty lights. They had a whole comedy-sketch routine thing which was kind of funny, too. Then we went down the Marina (I love living so close to the ocean...feels like home), and watched the boat parade where they decorate all the boats with christmas lights and show them around and there were some really kick-ass fireworks too and it was MOST EXCELLENT. :D

Then we all went home, changed into comfy clothes, and watched The Nightmare Before Christmas. Today was the perfect day.

Happiness is good for the soul. Go. Be happy. Live long and prosper.

PS: Anyone who did not get the above reference officially sucks. And not in the good way.

PPS: It was very cold today. We went out in trenchcoats, got some stares. Bwahaha.

5:27 PM.

James is my liebchen!

Aah...make the piano playing stop. You'd think after five years my brother would actually be good. Then again, maybe he is, it's just that I've heard the song FOR SIX MONTHS STRAIGHT SO IT'S KIND OF GETTING REPETITVE YOU KNOW?!

* twitch twitch *

Well, the illness is getting worse, and stress and subsequent lack of sleep and food isn't helping. It's a vicious cycle, damnit! School is stressful, and as a result I'm not eating or sleeping well. That combined with me already having a pussy of an immune system...meh. So now I have a constant sinus headache and really can't eat, because eating makes me sick to my stomach and then I puke everywhere and that's just disgusting.

But but but - my stressing out is paying off! I got a 104 on my big English test!! And I got an 85 on my Chem test, which is pretty damn decent considering everything else. Also, we took a quiz today in Algebra about hyperbolas and parabolas and I'm pretty sure I aced it...

I'm jinxing myself, aren't I?

Ah well. C'est la vie. I absolutely cannot wait for Christmas vacation...three weeks of pure, unadultered, stress and obnoxious people-free goodness! I'm going out to California as soon as finals are over, and getting a lot of much-needed relaxing time. Christmas will be spent with dear family (my aunt and cousins) and the New Year's is up in the air - I might stay in the San Fran locale, and I might scootch on over to Nipomo to visit Mary Kate and Co, as she'll be visiting her dad in Cali while I visit my aunt.

So how about y'all? Plans for Christmas? New Years?

.:Everyone's A Critic:.

Mimmi: * is taken aback * You surprised me there, darling. ;)
DeathKnight: * bows to the greatness of the Mighty Texan *
Shinmaru: * salutes her loyal minion *
Godel: My parents have lost all say in whether I go to school or not...I either go or I don't. They've given up, methinks. XD
Syk3: You're so lame.
James: Isn't it though?! * squeals *

.:But they're so darn cute!:.

   Take Me By Surprise

I hate you, Syk3.

I hope you explode into a billion little pieces.

Anyway...I had kind of a bummer day. Thomas left this morning. But I'm not even going to get into that. Didn't get nearly as much work done as I hoped. I also came down with a nasty headcold, and consequently feel quite lethargic. It can't help that tonight I decide to get a nice case of insomnia. I hadn't had one in awhile, but here this one just pops up.

I think I just sneezed my brains out...for the third time tonight. So grotty.

Anyway...I'm holding the fort down here though. A lot of stress, but I'm used to it. I do have one thing to ask of y'all though. Please go check my art thread out, and leave a comment about what you liked and didn't like. You don't have to be an artist, just an observer. It would really, really make my day.

Thanks minnasan. * sends out love vibes then crawls into bed *

.:So What'd The Critics Say?:.

Mimmi: I love you too, liebchen. * tips Fedora *
hEvN: Experiment time! ;D
Shinmaru: It's the part about screwing honors classes. * cough *
Syk3: I still hate you.

.:Not Too Bad.:.

1:54 PM.

I keep forgetting who lives in America and who doesn't...

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone in America, though! Mine's going to be a little unique. Both parents are working (big surprise...not), so it'll just be me and my little brother. I'm going to make stuffing, green beans, and mashed potatoes, and my friend's mom is bringing over some food too. I wish we had pie and sweet potatoes/yams and marshmellows though. That'd be nice. Anyway, we're just going to picnic on the living room floor, and maybe watch some anime or something.

Yay for weird families.

I have so much school work to do over the holidays. I hate when teachers do that. Holidays are holidays for a reason, damnit. Screw honors classes.

* sigh *

Oh well. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone. =) Now, for a few quizzes:

You Are the Individualist

4

You are sensitive and intuitive, with others and yourself.

You are creative and dreamy... plus dramatic and unpredictable.

You're emotionally honest, real, and easily hurt.

Totally expressive, others always know exactly how you feel.

You Are "Wow"!

John Kerry

my blackdaisies character

You are Innocence. You are sweet and probably shy, and has a penchant to wear whatever is trendy in the Asian scene at that point in time. You like anime and manga and probably would watch Hentai if it appealed to you enough. You act innocent and virginal yet there is a mystical lolita-esque sexuality about your nature that's vastly intruiging. You like dolls and little girl toys that take you back to an age of innocence you wish you had now.

Take the Which Black Daisies Character Are you Quiz?

I'm terza rima, and I talk and smile.
Where others lock their rhymes and thoughts away
I let mine out, and chatter all the while.

I'm rarely on my own - a wasted day
Is any day that's spent without a friend,
With nothing much to do or hear or say.

I like to be with people, and depend
On company for being entertained;
Which seems a good solution, in the end.
What Poetry Form Are You?

What Sort of Hat Are You? I am a Fedora.I am a Fedora.

The hat of the adventurous, I am spontaneous and active, perhaps sometimes a little foolishly. Regardless, I always come out alright. What Sort of Hat Are You?

WHAT ARE YOU HIDING?
NAME
AGE
FAVORITE CITY
FAVORITE SEASON
FAVORITE TYPE OF UNDERWEAR
ARE YOU SINGLE?
YOU ARE HIDING THE FACT THAT YOU....
This cool quiz by Sprawl - Taken 190 Times.
New - How do you get a guy to like you?

.:Commentary Mich, Mein Kapitän:.

Solo: Dreams are always strange.
Shinmaru: It's because you're so weird during the day, you don't have any material left for your dreams. ;)
Godel: Violent, aren't we? XD
hEvN: Naked girls swarming Shin? Yea, that would only happen in a dream. Maybe not even then.
lea: I have those occasionally.
lea (2): I don't dream of flying or gliding, but I often have dreams where I can jump really really high, and gravity has very little effect. It's a little scary though.

Catch-389

la la la: Golden Touch - Razorlight
munch munch: Nada
adorn me: Pajamas
face paint: Chapstick
tic toc: Almost 4:30

Today has been so very uneventful. Last night was fun though - there was a mad crazy AIM chat going on and it was hilarious. Then Lea called me and we had a very nice conversation. :D Sadly, I must go to school tommorow, because our state is full of lameasses, but then, Thanksgiving holiday begins! Whee!

Okay, so recently, the topic of sleeping and dreams has come up. The weirdest thing I've ever seen anyone do in their sleep is my mom moaning about how the volcano was going to kill us all and "oh god no, run, darling run!". Especially considering she had fallen asleep on the couch and there were about five other people in the room with me, and we were all very focused on playing Mario Kart 64 and didn't even realize she was in the room.

Just a little creepy.

I myself don't snore, sleep talk or walk, or really even move during my sleep. More often than not, I wake up in the exact same position I fell asleep in. The weirdest dream I've ever had was when I was 9, and I was helping Woody Woodpecker escape from jail, and this really fat cop, who was brandishing a nightstick, was chasing us. We finally hit a dead end, which happened to be a giant green dumpster, so we jumped in. Then, the dream went all Star Wars on my ass and the walls started closing in while we were sitting in all this trash.

And then I woke up.

Okay y'all. Your turn.

.:Commentary Mich, Mein Kapitän:.

Shimaru: That'd be funny to watch.
Instantramen: Yea it is, thanks!!
Mimmi: I think you should celebrate Thanksgiving, just to confuse all your Swedish relatives and neighbors. XD (I LOVE your avi.)
Lea: Visiting friends is good. :D
Arcadia: Yes. Let us chill. -^^-
OtakuSennen: Yea, contributed to America's rising obesity rate! >=O
Godel: Eccentricity usually comes with brilliance.
Solo: Not if you've ever been kicked in the small of your back, you wouldn't. * ouch *

Gingerbread Dream

la la la: The Dresden Dolls - Coin Operated Boy
munch munch: Cereal
adorn me: Pajamas
face paint: Eyeshadow from last night that I slept in.
tic toc: almost 11.

People who snore are so obnoxious. And I don't mind the light, little wheezing snoring. I mean the people who out and out sound like trains screeching down the tracks, plus a fog horn, plus really long nails scraping against a chalkboard. That's what my dad sounds like when he's snoring. And it makes me all ">=O"

If you snore like that - go see a doctor right now. Not only is nose probably real fucked up, but you are probably pissing someone off everytime you fall asleep. And someday, you're going to snore so loud that they will get so pissed off they will go out, buy a gun, and blow your nose off. And the you will be all ";-;"

Lol, ANYWAY, my best friend from Georgia called me on the teley last night, cause she got a new cell phone, and we had one of our 2 hour phone conversations. Man, it was hilarious. It ended with singing, very out of key, "Sometimes, when we toooouuuchhh, the hoonesty's tooo muuuuucchhh!!!" and then laughing so hard we couldn't breathe. Then we started talking about this guy she had randomly found on xanga, and how he had made an angry comment on her xanga after she left one on his telling him to forget about this chick he kept ranting about. She was talking about this dude constantly, and I was like, "Man, I'm gonna find this guy and leave a comment on his xanga about how we freggin' talked about him all night and how he needs to stop leaving angry comments on random people's xangas, because you are starting to sound like a stalker." To which she responded,

"Ooh ooh, I always wanted to be a stalker!!!"

I think I actually did die laughing at that point.

--next subject-->So what's everyone doing for Thanksgiving Holidays? I don't know what I'm gonna do, both my parents are working all week, which frankly, is okay by me. I will probably end up having dinner at someone else's house, lol. Ah, I'm such a freeloader. =)

.:Commentary Mich, Mein Kapitän:.

Mimmi: Oooh, buns. <3 <3 <3
Solo: Aw, that's sad. Well let's start a countdown - Three Months and One Week!
Shinmaru: Yea, your body like, naturally produces LSD. Someday, someone's going to try to harvest you, and I'll laugh.
DeathKnight: I was worried that it was going to suck, because you know, movies based on kick-ass tv shows usually do, but this one was rockin'.
OtakuSennen: Man, you really are obsessed. GO GET A LIFE!!
instantramen: Well you need to at least rent it!
lea: Woohoo!!! I'm someone's hero!!! Wait. This could be bad. * sweatdrop * ^^;;
Godel: XD. SPONGEBOB IS A MINION OF SATAN! QUICK, EVERYONE, RUN AWAY!!!
