5:35 PM.
Can't forget what you never said.
Today...well, today sucked. Today's suckiness started yesterday though. My dad lost it again and went on massive rage mode, started screaming "fuck you!" and all this crap, and slamming cabinents and stomping around and threatening to hit people (mainly me). Basically just acting like the complete and utter asshole with a total lack of self-control.
But I was scared in a way that I hadn't been since like...last March. Which is not okay. I never wanted to be scared like that again. So I talked with my mom (she tried to blame me for all it, go figure), and I just told her that I couldn't live there anymore. It was either move in with a friend for awhile, or move out to California for the rest of high school. So when she comes home tonight we're going to decide what's going to happen. I'm most likely going to go live with my best friend for awhile, until I can deal with being in this house again.
I'm so fucking tired of all this bullshit. Does it ever end? Do things ever really get better? I'd like to believe it can happen, and that's what I've been holding on to, but when people continually fall back on their old, angry, destructive personalities, it's gets harder and harder to keep believing in hope. But I digress. Let's move on, shall we?
One good thing about today was that I think I did surprisingly well on my English test on The Great Gatsby. For those of you who were up all night with me (Lea, Nick, Asphy, and James-thanks you guys), you know of the awful book. I was totally stressed out about it last night, and ended up staying up until 4 am reading an online copy of the book, because, surprise surprise, my dad never bought the book for me. But yea, I took the test, and it was like "Wow! I actually know all this crap!"
Here's my interesting thought of the day: What happens when you get scared half to death twice?

ATTENTION: It is no longer cool to kill Shinmaru. We now smoke Shinmaru. (In a pipe is best.)
I had a deeply amusing and sex-filled day. First of all, today is the day to dress up like someone from a different era at our school. And there was this guy dressed in a pinstrip suit and bowler hat with blonde-red hair and holy shiitake mushrooms he was HOT.
Drop-dead-while-having-an-orgasm-hot.
Yes, it was just that good. So I stared at him all day in homeroom. * drool * This reminded me of Thomas, who also looks incredibly hot in a bowler hat, which made me even more horny. I think Aphrodite just took a big ole red LUST stamp and stamped it all over my body.
My friend Luna and I were also sketching all over her notebook today, and she drew the cutest, most adorable bunny, who proclaimed to all:
"Hi! My name is Poof-Poof, and I have come to EAT YOUR SOUL!"
It was the most hilarious thing ever. Then in German we are describing a house we are trying to sell, and ours has a cow on the roof, a communist downstairs, frequent alien abduction attempts on said cow, and a nearby nuclear testing site which occasionally loses a zombie in our backyard, which, coincidentally, is a graveyard.
I love that class.
.:Commentary:.
Sennnen: No, you're a horrible friend. You're going straight to hell. (J/k)
Godel: Isn't it fun?
Shinmaru: Pixies = teh shit.
Arcadia: Yea I know! The picture kind of sucks though, because you can't really see their plaidness. Teh plaid fishnets are so awesome.
Lea: Thank you sweetling! * big grin *
Mimmi: I know, I am totally digging the Totoroness, and I'm leaning towards this being the one I ultimately use. Then again, I could get super creative and just like, totally blow everyone away with a superuberphantastich Clockwork Orange layout...

5:42 PM.
* kills Shinmaru *
I am so freakin' tired. Not much happened today...I got into a tiff with my English teacher. The woman's a fucking anal-retentive bitch. She wouldn't accept my ten page research project, which counts twelve times, because (get this) IT WASN'T IN AN ENVELOPE. So I ran, got an envelope at the library just to please her, and even though I turned it in on the day it was due, she's still counting it late.
I hope she dies a horrible death involving gophers, needles, and a large amount of date rape drugs.
Anyway, yea. As you may or may not have guessed (I'm hoping it's the former), this is the Totoro layout. Like, dislike, hate with a burning passion? Kudos to Mimmi and davesite.com for the HTML help, btw.
.:Commentary:.
Shinmaru: Yea, Pixies freakin' rock, man. I got a Pixies band tee the other day, it's so awesome. A preview of my Clockwork Orange layout will come tommorow, or much later tonight.
Juu: Thank you. Yes, that is me. * curtsy * ^.^
Mimmi: Whee for Totoro! Happy Anniversary, liebchen!
Lea: Totoro is here!
Arcadia: Thank you! If you need any help with HTML, go ask Mimmi.
Mitch: No you don't. I pwn all.

KARMA PWNS SHINMARU!!!11!!1111
Ahem. I would like to note that yesterday was Mimmi and I's ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY at OB! Yes, we both registered on the exact same day. Now, one year later, we're the best of friends. It's so cool.
To everyone at OB and on myO, I'd like to say thanks for all the fuckin' awesome times, and I hope there will be many more, probably which will involve a great deal of sex and rather off-kilter humour. ^-^ YOU ALL ROCK!!!
Now, since it's the one year anniversary, plus, I just got back from a really long vacation, I thought a change in layout was in order. So, what you see is what you get. Opinions? Like it, don't like it? Over the next 7 days (lol), I'm taking suggestions as to whether or not to keep the layout, or have a new one. Please keep in mind that the new layout will not change until the next anniversary, so your votes count!
Current Layout Themes:
Seven
Clockwork Orange
Totoro (currently on display)
Any other suggestions?
.:Commentary:.
Lea: Anytime girl, anytime!!
Mitch: Missed you too. ^.^
Lea: Yep. So did I.
Shinmaru: See top of page.
Mimmi: Yes, more poetry. And a Seven layout. Do you like it?
OtakuSennen: Isn't it awful?
Solo Tremaine: I agree, it looks good. And it's good to be back. -^^-
Syk3: I can't promise that. But we DEFINITELY need to get a chat going. Good times...
Baron Samedi: I know, it was burning my eyes too. So I fixed it. Do you like?
.:End Commentary:.
I heard the weirdest version of Monkey Gone To Heaven by the Pixies today. It was like, all vocals and a little guitar. It was weird.

12:48 AM.
Well, I've spent all day online, catching up with people and playing Literati, losing two games and winning one. It's a pretty cool game, although I'll always prefer the board game Scrabble. I posted a little on OB, lol, the first time I did it I had a little trouble remembering the special coding, instead of html. Then I though the internet ate the literature section, until Mimmi pointed it out down below.
I nearly had a heart attack when I thought they got rid of it though.
When I finally found it, I posted a short little stream-of-consciousness piece that I wrote a night or so ago, called Hey Say Mr. Lucifer. Asphy left a nice review, which brightened my day. I may post some poetry later on, bring back my poetry thread from the dead.
Ooh, we rented Seven from Blockbuster, that movie is trippy. I'm thinking of using that as material for a new theme for an avi and banner. Either that, Clockwork Orange, or some original artwork. What do you guys think? Also, I tried to rent the new Paper Mario, but my mom wanted to get Barbershop 2 (um...twitch), so, sadly, the mario of paperness must wait. Has anybody else played it besides Tony? I'm dying to get a hold of it...
.:Commentary:.
OtakuSennen: Yea, I know, dorktacular. It's good to be back. ^.^
Lea: =D
Mimmi: Yea, party all night long!! *confetti*
James: Thank you darling. -^^-
Ben: YES! POWER TO DORKS!
Shinmaru: Catch-22 was spiffalicious. And Chemistry pwns j00.
Mitch: * returns it with most equal fervor * Man it's good to be back.
Baron Samedi: * suggestive wink * Graci, mi amigo. * curtsy *

I'm BAAAACK, and it's time for a little of the old ULTRAVIOLENCE
J/k, j/k. Anyway, yea people, I'm back! For good this time! * much fanfare and confetti * I officially got my net back yesterday, and I've talked to quite a few old friends already, and to those of you whom I haven't, well I'm sure I'll see you soon.
Life's been crazy, lovers and friends and school and social lives and parties and all the fucking good stuff. (Actually some of it sucks and can EAT MY LIVER but that's besides point.) I read Catch-22, that book is bloody hiliarious and awesome and anyone who can actually keep up with superuber twisted plots should read it, right now! The paper I had to write about it was a pain in the ass, but that's okay.
I love Chemistry. I love it. It is my most favorite subject ever besides maybe English but right now I hate my English teacher so Chemistry is my favorite subject.
CHEMISTRY ROCKS!
I AM A DORK!
Anyway, yea. Not much else to say. I just got over a wicked bad cold, with a fever of a 102, and a horribly sore throat, so now I've completely lost my voice. It's hilarious to hear me talk. (Ken knows this) And now I have nothing else to say, except I'm back and I missed you all so awfully much, and give me a whisper if you're on AIM!

Life Sucks An Extremely Large Dildo
Well, it does. See? Look. It's-
CENSORED FOR YOUR PROTECTION
Anyway, yea. This is another one of those random posts. Blech. Internet = Hopefully back within the week. But if it's not, don't worry, I haven't died.
Then again, you never know. -.- I might get stabbed to death by a paperclip by the psycho kid in the back of the class who pets small invisible animals.
Since I last posted, I saw Pink Floyd's The Wall, which was a fucking excellent movie. Now all I have to see is The Labrynith and I'll be good to go. Woohoo. I bought the latest Incubus CD, which also rocks.
You go, you buy, you like. :D Their lyrics rock man. .\,,/
Slipknot and Shinedown are both coming to town!! I'm so excited!! In my fantasy world, I'll get tickets to both, but in light of that probably not happening, I'm hoping to go to at least one of the concerts. Whee for musak.
Algebra 2 H = fucking hard
Chemistry 1 H = okay
English 3 H = mostly easy and fun
German 2 = ditto above
I hate math, I hate math, I hate math. I hate it with a burning passion deep inside my soul that wells within me, burning me alive and making me scream at night. Especially exponents. Exponents be damned. Damned straight to the belly of hell, where it may churn for the rest of eternity. We had 50, count 'em FIFTY, math problems, and it's only the second week of school. It can only get worse.
;-; My brain. I feel it dying.
Oh well. How is everyone else doing? Anything new around OB? Ooh, has anyone read Of Mice And Men? We had to read it for English class, I thought it was a pretty damn good book, despite being a 'classic'. * cough * The ending was depressing though.
Aren't they all?
We also get an independent choice book, which is basically us reading a book that we picked from a pre-determined list. I picked Catch-22, on the previous recommendation of Shinmaru and Arcadia (I think it was them). So, there's some goodness to look forward to.
Interesting catch-phrase of the day: Empty Hearts Bleed Less.

11:19 PM.Thurs.Aug 5.
OMG look we've got exclaimation points now.
Well, we do. Right next to "Add Me As A Friend" I guess it's supposed to make the action more cheerful and exciting? Who knows...
Anyway, yea, I'm still alive. Sorry for totally disappearing on y'all, a lot of stuff has been going on, both bad and good. Bad: Our homeowner's insurance went through the roof because of the construction that's been going on around here, so for the entire month of July we had NO money, we could barely afford to eat. ;-; (Well, okay, it wasn't that bad, but we definitely didn't have enough money to get my phone line reinstalled.) Good: My best friend came home from California a week or so ago and I've been spending a lot of time with her since we haven't seen each other all summer. So, between the both of those, my internet time has equaled none. However, come Monday, I will be starting school again (I'm a Sophmore, whee!) so things will be getting into a regular schedule and hopefully I'll have my internet back by the earliest in a week, the latest the end of August. I don't expect it to be back within a week, but I'm pretty sure it will be here before the end of August. So look for me sometime between those two areas. Once school starts I may occasionally go to the library and go online there during lunch, but not all the time. (I have a life. O.O) Basically, my posts will be erratic at best until I get my home internet back.
On to other, more interesting things. I saw both Resvoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction over the summer, and let me say, they rock. Overall, I thought Resvoir Dogs was a better film because the plot line had a steady core and direction, while still making interesting plot twists and keeping the audience's interest. The ending was definitely the movie's claim to fame though. Pulp Fiction had a more intruiging variety of characters and situations, and had more depth than Resvoir Dogs, but lacked a strong plot that tied of it together, and seemed at times as if the stories were just thrown together hodge podge. Regardless, I loved both movies. They were the kind of movies that you could really get into, and didn't have moments of 'Man, when's this gonna end' or 'Dude, that's not even possible, this is so dumb' It really ruins a movie when you have moments like that. (See-Massive Agent Smith Orgy in Matrix: Reloaded)
Moving on to my love life. As far as relationships go, some stuff has happened, but not much. I did have a passionate, 45 minute makeout session with an incredibly good kisser in the back of a car, but it was a one-night-stand kind of thing. A shame, he really was such a good kisser. My ex-girlfriend called me wanting to start a relationship again, to which I said "We'll see." I'm wary of dating someone I already got burned by, you know? My best friend's brother also came down, and some very pleasant situations have arisen out of that, but I need to get to know him better. Hopefully I will before he leaves, and we'll at least be good friends and have some great summer memories. ^.^
Moving on again, yes, my school starts in 4 days. I have mixed feelings towards it, I look forward to social interaction and being busy, but I'm dreading all the 'his best friend broke up with her best friend and they like each other but if they date each other their best friends will be mad and I heard that last summer he cheated on this girl and...' you get the picture. I also dread being stressed out about school work. First semester is going to be very hard:
1st period: Algebra II Honors
2nd period: Chemistry I Honors
3rd period: German II
4th period: English III Honors
See what I mean? x_x Second semester I only have one hard class:
1st period: Computer/Video Graphics
2nd period: Computer/Video Graphics
3rd period: German III Honors
4th period: Economy/Government Honors
But I can do it. I refuse to let myself slack off. >:O
Now I think I've rambled quite enough, so I'll just say 'ciao' and exit, stage left.

Beautiful Oblivion
Ten points if you can tell me what song that title came from.
Today, I obtained the Ultima Weapon, and promptly kicked the Phantom and Kurt Zisa's asses! This of course, was in Kindgom Hearts. I was oh so proud. I also cleaned my room. Yay for productivity! Now the only thing I need is some more brownie mix and my copy of Resvoir Dogs and I'll be all set. Those however, will come with the morning sun, so I guess I'll just have to dream about Resvoir Dogs and brownie mix until I can have their phsyical counterparts.
.:Commentary:.
Shinmaru: Sign against evil?
Mimmi: Possibly. Because there's certainly nothing 'restricted' about Man Faye.
Instantramen: You know it. Probably hot and sweaty. Just like Man Faye. XD
Shimaru (again): HAH HAH HAH HAH! I laugh at you.
OtakuSennen: You clicked on him because secretly, you have a crush on Man Faye! XD Erm, moving on, yes. Come over to my house and we'll watch Resvoir Dogs in our pjs and eat raw brownie mix.
.:End Commentary:.
I see my picture of Man Faye's Ass got a lot of response. It's like a car crash. You don't want to look, but you feel COMPELLED to. >:D Man Faye's Ass compels you!!!
I'm done now.
And now for...Karmi's Philosophical Rant of the Day
Tonight's Subject: Forgivness
We've all had fights with someone where we were wrongly accused or something, and then later they apologized and we forgave them. Sometimes it's hard to forgive someone, sometimes it's easy, depending on the wrong done to you, and who did the wrong. For example, it is very easy for us to forgive a best friend who had a bad day and just went off but quickly apologized. It would be much harder to forgive someone you didn't like or didn't know for, say, burning down your house because they were drunk or something.
However, what we sometimes don't realize is that if we don't forgive someone, we harbor that anger in ourselves, which only hurts us and makes us more miserable. But is it possible to truly forgive someone if you really hate them and resent what they've done so much it seems to consume you? At first, I'd say no. You have to look deeper into the problem. Sometimes it's even necessary to forgive yourself for things that you may not have even realized you blamed yourself for, or feelings you had about the incident that you later felt ashamed of.
Forgiveness be a tricksy thing. Thoughts? Comments?

Let's have a Big Mac Attack!
I saw that on a sign for McDonald's. I don't think the person who wrote it understood the irony. (Big Mac Attack = Heart Attack) They really need some more intelligent people in their advertising commitee.
But, moving on, the weather here has been nothing but thunderstorms. It seems there's a big cloud of...storminess...hanging above the tiny little area in which I live. * looks up * Begone, storm clouds! I want to go to the beach! >.< In light of all the rain and thunder, we've been renting a lot of movies. I just saw the first 9 episodes of Invader Zim, which were amusing, and Cold Mountain, which I thought kinda...sucked, but hey, I'm biased because I hate Nicole Kidman. I'm also not fond of unhappy endings. XP
I also rented Resvoir Dogs on the recommendation of someone. I forget who. Maybe it was James. Anyway, I was all prepared for some QT goodness, when I realized I had left it at a friend's house. Rawr. But I WILL get it back, and I WILL watch it! * makes a determined pose on a rock in the middle of the ocean as waves crash behind her *
You know, for some reason, there's a roll of toliet paper sitting on the desk beside me. o_O;;
.:Commentary:.
Mimmi: Yes liebling. Let us bask in the beautiful Australianess together. :D
Shin: ;-; You haven't seen Totoro?! This makes me cry.
James: Not you too!! * pulls out tissue box and weeps for the sorry state of the world *
Lea: Germans definitely have that dark and silent thing going for them. * smirk *
Shinmaru: I don't know doll, you looked pretty hot in that picture I took of you with that sandwich hanging ever so sensously out of your mouth. ;)
OtakuSennen: That worries me. Deeply. ^^;;
Sara: I know, isn't it tradgic?!
DeathKnight: Yes, that video does indeed rock. As does Totoro.
Juuthena: Oh man, I'd love to go to London, if only for the theatre they have there. I don't think I'll ever really get used to hills (hills suck!) but I'll live if it's in the name of a good convention or a good education. Preferably the former. ^.~
Lea (again): * swords stab repeatedly through her heart * Why, why must the OB masses be so depraved?!
.:Commentary:.
And now, I'll leave you all with some lovely litt'e pishures...
Aqua Teen Hunger Force!
Capture the Clow Card!
Don't shoot the cute little Kureneko! ;-;
WARNING! THIS PHOTO IS RATED R!
Man Faye & Karmi! (he was sweaty...)
That's all for today!

EDIT: Picture number 4 is now fixed! (Click it Shin, you know you want to.)
