Story of two freelance mercenaries who live on a backwater planet Sentinal III; Gene Starwind who dreams of being an outlaw in sapce and Jim Hawking the computer genius kid. These two friends take a job for an outlaw Hilda, but through complications end up as the pilots of the fastest most advanced spaceship in the galaxy, the XGP-15A-II and the lovley bio-android, Melfina. It sounds like everything worked out since they always wanted a spaceship, unfortunatly everyone in the galaxy wants the ship for themselves. As Gene and Jim along with Melfina try to find answers about the secrets of the XGP(now the Outlaw Star) and the mysterious location in space, the Galactic Leyline, that seems to be connected with it, they amass a very unusual crew and come across some interesting people.

PROs: Really funny and action packed, yet still holds the drama and "romance" without contrasting between episodes.
-The "interactions" between Gene and Fred.
-And way to much other stuff to name.

CONS: Gene has this habit of yelling those anoying needless lines(i.e. "Lets go!", "Lets do it!", ect..)
-And just about everyone has the tendency to state the obvious. -_-

Music: 8 (theme songs are pretty, but inserts are kinda annoying)
Storyline: 9.5 (very original)
dub: 7.5 (not really bad)
overall: 8.3

eps 5: 'Beast Girl, ready to pounce' Enter Aisha....

eps 18: 'Strongest women in the universe' Jenny Starwind...? O_o

eps 23: 'Hot springs planet Tenrei' the title says it all...^^'
