*sniffls*
well yesterday I wanted to get of work...and failed but I did manage to hold off until 4 and there wasn't a lot to do anyways so I could take it slow walk 3 dogs feed and water them hold one down clean out like 2 or 3 cages sweep mop thats it...then we had a meeting...and I might now get to work more hours....but not today thank God
I do feel better for now its mostly just a stuffy noes and drange down my throat ((sorry guess thats tmi)) anyways as long as my sinses don't suddenly start hurting again I should be fine which is a nice change because before I went to bed last night I felt down right misserable...my skin was even killing me....
well not much else to say I'm down to the vet job only so I'll be there by 3 and...yep thats it
oh heres and email Lunnaei sent me:
When one is considered “sane” they are considered to be in their “right mind”, “normal” and so on with the other odd phrases that describe one that is “right in the head”. To describe someone that is “a few fries short of a happy meal”, who’s “lost it”, “gone mad” or any of the following we say that they are “insane”. I find a small fallacy with this word.
Okay. “Sane” is a word I can accept. I’ve not done, nor will I be doing, a word study to find out the roots of this word and so on. Think about it though, what does it mean if someone is “in” something? Means their “within” or “on the inside” or maybe even “part of” right? So if someone is “in” sane…does that not mean that they are “on the mark”, that “lights are on and everybody /is/ home”?
Now I know that some could argue this. If things are “inexcusable”, and “incompetent”, then does not the word “insane” work out the way it should? No…you can not be in “excusable” and you cannot be in “competent”. If people really were in their “right minds” when sane…then they’d have said that things are “unexcusable” and “uncompetent”, and that people are “unsane”.
So my theory stands…as the insane one in my home and my office…I am the only one “in” my left mind (I’m right handed…only lefties are in their “right” mind…but not necessarily “in” sane. ^,~)…
