Ah, the gahness and funness that is University...
Hey everyone.
Man. I LOVE University. It's so much fun! There are so many things always going on and stuff. There's a lot of cool people, a lot of cool things to do. Like take tonight for instance. A Don from two floors down invited our floor with her floor to go to laser quest. I love laser quest. It's so much fun. I came 13th, which was OK. Another friend of mine came 11th, the best in our group of five from our floor. But yeah. "Camping is a legitimate strategy!"
But at the same time, University can be gahness. Take for instance today. I had the whole day off (I rearranged my courses so that every other Thursday I have off, sweetness), which I had planned to use to do homework (TONS AND TONS OF HOMEWORK. For instance, in my Chem course I'm doing Grade 11 Chem in two weeks. Sure, it's review, but I can barely remember a damn thing, lol), but I ended up not doing nearly as much as I wanted to do. Oh well. Can't change that now.
Then there's the documentation and paper stuff. Gah. Paying for University takes as much work as a course. Having to go all over the place, find out dates, hand in certain paper, gah!
...
*sigh*
...
So I'm joining the CTRL-A club. It's called the Club That Really Likes Anime. It seems like it'll be pretty fun. I can't wait to go to a meeting and see what people say when they see my hair. lol.
I've been playing so much Super Smash Bros. Melee since I got here. Almost everyday we play. But it really is quite fun. But it also makes me realize even more so just how amazing I am. Mwhahahahahahahaha.
lol.
Sorry for that. If you could hear my tone of voice you'd know that I was being horribly sarcastic.
Anyways, I got to get some sleep. Being tired sucks, and I'm almost always tired here. And I'm just getting over being sick. And my voice is almost gone from it. lol.
Anyways, see everyone around.

University Tip: If you're going for scholarships, do LOTS AND LOTS of extracurricular activities. Become part of every club you can, and DO something there. Scholarships always ask what your impact was. The greater the better.

Bare, bear, or baer with me, I'm a little insane...
Hey everyone.
Yes, I'm still here. And I have to admit, I'm seriously thinking of coming back, at least for a while. The only thing is that I don't have anything to contribute. Which makes me not want to come back.
But then I thought, what is different about me from most of the rest of theotaku? Well, I suppose there is the fact that I'm a guy.
*WARNING! WARNING! TANGENT APPROACHING. TAKE EVASIVE ACTION*
"Slippy! Get out of there!"
"Help me Fox!"
"You suck Slippy!"
"Shut up Falco!"
"Come one guys, we're gonna hafta take this head on!"
"Right behind you Fox!"
"I'm relying on you Peppy!"
Has anyone else noticed that? It definitely seems like there are more females on theotaku then males. Maybe it's just me and my online attractiveness that makes all the hotline (hot-online, tricky, huh? I made it myself!) girls surround me, but that's the way it seems.
Yes, I just complimented all you girls. You know why? Because all girls are beautiful to me. That's why. If it's not the beauty on the outside they have, then it's the beauty on the inside that I admire. And some even have both! Like awesome, awesome Sheena... *drool*
...
...
...
"Whew, that was a tough one Fox!"
"I hear you Slippy, I was worried about that one!"
"I wasn't. But then again, I'm great."
"Quiet Falco."
Did I ever mention that the article I was working on just before they destroyed the coolness behind theotaku was on that subject? It was getting to be pretty cool. Then the great culling occured. Sad times, sad times...
...
...
...
Then I thought, "Well, I'm also the awesomest person ever." Which is entirely true, but does not need to be brought up right now, "We have guests!"
"Oh shut up. You're just jealous!"
"I'm not jealous! How could I be?!"
"Because I'm awesome and you're not!"
"WE'RE THE SAME PERSON, IDIOT!"
"...oh. Yeah. You're right."
Then I thought, "I'm at University! Not many other otakuites are!"
So I'm thinking of talking about University, what to expect, what to do to get ready, funny stories, and other things like that.
Anyone interested? Or should I just deem my plan a horrible idea and have it swept under my desk along with my DDR mat, bubble wrap, a power bar (not the food), my grade 12 physics and various math courses notes, the random sock that I don't THINK is mine and find it smells rather odd, and all the crumbs?

*Quietly sneaking into theotaku, hoping not to be seen*
Hey everyone, if anyone notices. lol. Ok, I won't do that again (those of you who even notice this will probably get it). Just thought I'd stop by.
How's everyone doing? How's theotaku doing? It sure seems really different. Gah. Maybe I'm just too oldschool now... lol...
Well, if anyone cares to know, I am now in first year university, majoring in physics. Sweetness, huh? I know, some people think I'm crazy, but physics is the best. lol.
Anyways, I'm just keeping this post short, cause I just want to see if anyone notices. If you do, tell me how you've been doing, ok?
lol.

I wonder if anyone will notice this... lol
Heh, the good ol' theotaku. I haven't been here in a LOOOOOONG TIME. (looks around) *sigh* Everything seems so different and wierd. Gah, I now feel like an outsider coming here. Ah, whatever. It's not like I'm staying. lol.
I was just in the neighbourhood and thought I'd stop by (that and also I like this site for the posts about where anime cons are, at least this place has one good thing left about it).
I highly doubt anyone will notice this or care, but I just thought I'd leave this message, just in case. I wouldn't mind hearing how everyone is doing and such. I don't care what it is about, but tell me the most exciting thing that has happened to you in the last few months. Or whatever. I like hearing from you guys. You're all really cool people. *sigh* Makes me kinda wish I was still part of this place.
Speaking of anime cons, I went to another one a few months ago! Man, it was so awsome and fun! I made this AMAZING sword for it, it was soooo cool! Although I didn't get hit on by girls as much as the last con. lol. *sigh* I miss this blogging stuff. It was fun being part of theotaku.
And well, it's time for me to go. Otherwise the few of you reading this will start really getting annoyed with my constant sighing and complaing, lol. I may be back in...hmmm... well, quite possibly never, but then again, I might poke my head back in every once in a while like this. Anyways, bye to anyone that happens to read this and actually care.
P.S. TimberWolf or Sangome, can you explain to me what your AttackForce thingy is? I was ready both of your blogs, and I saw them. Sounds fun! lol.
P.P.S. I have a Wii!! I was 49th in line at my local Walmart to get one on November 19th!! If you don't have a Wii, GET ONE. NOW. They're the BEST.
Anyways, time to go. Cya! Don't forget to write some interesting stuff about yourselves in the comments! I want to hear from you guys! *looks at TimberWolf, Sangome, bellpickle, Pleiades Rising, and anyone else I may have missed (sorry! my memory is horrible for names and people)*

Probably my last post
Well, with the articles section gone, I'm probably going to leave theotaku for good.
But even if this hadn't happened, I don't know if I would've stayed anyways. I'm really starting to get busy with other things, like scholarships, and getting ready for University. After my time at Shad Valley, I just find that I'm not as interested in video games and anime. I guess I grew up a bit while I was there. I still love anime and video games, don't get me wrong! But, I'm just starting to find that I have less time for it.
And with the articles section going, I really have nothing to contribute to theotaku. My only regret is that I didn't make it to the most popular writer. I made it to the most prolific, which was one of my goals! Oh well, lol.
So I guess this is goodbye. You were all really cool people! I wish I knew people in real life that had the same love for anime and were as cool as all of you! Have a good life everyone, and keep on loving anime!

I get back and THIS happens....
Well I'm back from Shad Valley. BEST TIME OF MY LIFE. EVER. There's no way to describe how fun it was. The only way to give even a bit of an idea is to describe the last day. It went something like this:
All 48 of us 16 - 18 year olds were sitting in the lobby of our residence, crying and hugging each other, as each of us left over the last two hours. Someone's ride would come, they'd get up, we'd all hug, cry, and say how we wish we didn't have to leave, and then the person would leave, and we'd all sit back down. No one wanted to leave. It was easily, EASILY, the best time of my life. I HIGHLY reccomend Shad Valley to anyone that can go. Go to www.shad.ca for details about it. It's open to anyone internationally, as long as you are between grades 11 and 12, or just finished 12. Actually, I believe they are starting to accept kids that just finished grade 10 as well now. Anyways, look into it if you want to have the best time of your life. Basically, you live at one of 12 Canadian Universities for the entire month of July and do academically related things. It varies from University to University, but they all have the Design Challenge, which is the main feature of Shad. Anyways, look into it. You WON'T regret it!
And now I come back, only to find out that the articles section is being taken down or something to that effect. Well, I've got to say that if it goes, then I am too. It's really the only thing I do here.
Although, Adam DID mention a Fan Manga section, so that'd be pretty cool. Wave (my new nickname for Backlash Wave) and I could probably do a series or something.
Whatever the case, I've got to go now.

Shad Valley Hiatus
And my exams are finally over.
It's nice to be done with them. Although, I must say that I don't believe I did very well. Gah. I don't know what it was, but I just felt like I didn't do too well. I guess there's nothing left to do but wait for the marks to come back...
And Shad Valley is almost here!!! YAY!!!
I guess I might as well explain what Shad Valley is. Just in case there is a possibility that someone notices that I'm gone and wonders.
Anyways, Shad Valley is an International program that I got into for the month of July. Basically, I'm going to a University for a month to learn, research, and possibly create new things and ideas regarding almost any area of Science. People from previous years have actually invented things that they patented and sold. It's kind of like a research program for students in Grade 11 and 12.
I had to fill in a MASSIVE application to get in (there are only 500 students accepted internationally each year), which required two essays, a personality profile, a "creative page", amongst other things. It took a LONG time to finish.
So I'm leaving for Shad Valley on Friday (June 30th), I'm going to be AT Shad Valley from July 2nd to July 28th, and then I'll be back probably around July 31st, maybe early August.
And while I'm there, I DO of course have access to computers to email parents and everything, but I highly doubt they'd let me (and I won't have any time, lol) do stuff here on theotaku, so in other words, I'm going away for about a month, and I won't be able to visit here during that time.
I know that probably no one will notice, but I thought I'd mention it.

12 Days to Shad Valley
That was probably the best last day of school ever. I brought my Gamecube because I'd asked my Physics teacher yesterday if I could play it in Physics, and he said yes.
So we had an assembly first perion, then I had Physics where I played Super Smash Bros. Melee with a whole bunch of other people on a projector. Then I had lunch, then in Chemistry I played Super Smash again. Then I had Bio and I ate pizza and ice cream cake, and played Super Smash. lol. Awsome last day!
But now come exams. Gah, lol. Well I probably won't be on for a while, but then again I might. Eh, whatever. I gotta go study.

14 Days to Shad Valley
Well Sangome reminded me of Megaman 64, so I played it and beat it this morning. I'd never actually done that before. I'd ALMOST beat it, but then I had stopped because I thought it was too hard or something. But that was like 6 years ago. I beat the whole game this morning in 5 hours. It was really easy. Quite fun though. But GAH!!! THE STORY JUST ENDS!!! I WANT TO PLAY THE SECOND ONE BUT I DON'T HAVE IT!!! GAH!!! They should have just made it continue in the first one instead of making a second one!! GAH!!
Well exams are almost upon me, and I'm not studying enough. Gah. I really should've been studying this morning, but I didn't. So I'm going to all afternoon. At least I'm going to try, lol.
Well, there's not much else interesting things, so I'm going to go study now. Bye.

17 Days to Shad Valley (I finally thought of a title!)
I've been wondering something for a while now. I know that everywhere has different Summer holidays, so what's it like for you (if you're still in school, lol)? For me (and this year specifically), I get off of school next Tuesday, and then I have exams. And I go BACK to school the second week of September.
I finally finished my Computer Science (my only non-science class (although I suppose it still is kinda, lol)) final project today! That was a LOT of programming! But I'm happy with the final product. I made a database (kind of like Microsoft Access) that you can add in information, save it, load it, etc. It was a lot of work and pretty difficult in some places, but it is really cool. It's actually a useful program (I'm using it to organize all of my information I need to know for my Exams! lol), unlike my previous year's program, which was a sidescrolling-Mario-like arcade game called "Gummy: Story of a Garbage Can". Yes, the main character was a garbage can. Don't ask why.
Oh, and if you're wondering what my title means, too bad. I'm not telling. At least not until it gets closer. lol!
