Maybe I should make a relavent title...
Gah.
My exams are coming up next week, and I'm freaking out as usual. Every year I begin getting scared about them about a week in advance. And yet, I usually don't study that early, lol.
But this year I HAVE to. My damn Biology exam is going to be a killer. I'm positive of that. Gah, it's going to be so difficult!
My Chemistry exam shouldn't be too bad though, so I'm happy about that, and my Physics exam will be so-so I'm guessing.
All in all, it's going to be a rough few days. I've got Chem on Wednesday (and school is over on Tuesday, so that leaves me almost no time to study), Bio on Friday (I'm NOT looking forward to Thursday, my head is going to explode from all of the information), and Physics on Monday (the Monday after). Overall, I'm actually REALLY happy with the order (although I wish Physics and Bio could've been the other way around). Chem should be easy, so it'll be nice to get over with, so I can concentrate on Bio, then I have the weekend to study Physics.
Phew. I know no one actually cares about any of this, but I'm just typing all of this out so I can organize all of my thoughts. My mind always goes crazy when I'm nervous, and begins freaking out, even though I know there's no reason to. lol.
Phew... Grade 11 is almost done...

I'm sure I'll think of a title eventually...
So it seems like no one likes the swim suit idea. Why not? I think it's a great idea!
lol
Oh, and don't worry dragon phoenix, I'm DEFINITELY not going to let it go to my head! I make a special point of trying to not be arrogant. I HATE arrogance, and do my best to stamp out any of my own (except for my sarcastic arrogance, lol).
And really, with all this attention from these girls, I feel more like an object than a person, since they don't actually care about my personality! Poor me!
lol!

Now what should I use for a title?
Well I want to talk some more about Otakuthon, since there is in fact quite a bit I didn't mention, and now remember.
First of all, the OTHER cosplayers. There were some pretty good cosplayers. But the one that stood out the most was probably one of the Cloud cosplayers. His costume was really well done (at least it that's what it looked like to ME. I've never played Final Fantasy 7 (that's the one with Cloud, right?)). Anyways, he had made the Buster sword, and it was really well done! It looked awsome. Next convention I go to, I'm DEFINITELY making some sort of sword, lol.
Other than that, there were only a few people that stuck out, like the girls that had maid costumes (kinda creepy), and the guys cosplaying as Ichigo and the store owner guy (can't remember his name) from Bleach.
I have to say that I still think that my costume was one of the best ones there, lol, but that's just my opinion. Ha!
Kinda funny random thing. I went to Otakuthon's forums, and I found some girls talking about me. They kept refering to me as "the hot red guy" or "the cute red guy". lol.
Well Backlash Wave will most likely come to whatever Anime convention I go to next (which probably Otakuthon 2007, lol), and another friend of ours will also come. So that'll be better, as I won't be by myself next time, lol! And I've managed to convince Wave (my new nickname for BW) to cosplay as well, so that'll be fun (although he doesn't know who he would go as). And our other friend wants to go as Leon from Resident Evil 4. lol. As for me, I might go as my original character again, or I might make up a new character, OR I might try going as Kratos from Tales of Symphonia. I don't know if I'd be able to pull it off though. Even if I make the costume completely right (which would be DIFFICULT), I still don't know if it'd work. But I think I do have the right hair, so that's one thing, lol.
The reason I thought of Kratos was because of the drive back from the convention. I trying to think of a funny possibly skit to do next year, and I came up with (what I think to be) a pretty funny Tales of Symphonia one.
So here's how it goes:
I'd be Kratos. Wave would be Lloyd. And our other friend (now called N) would be Genis. And the skit would be called, "Lloyd Irving's Bad Day".
It'd start off with Lloyd and Kratos. It'd be like they just finished a battle, and Lloyd would be like, "Look at this trick I can do!" And then he'd do the battle ending where he throws up one of his swords, sheaths the other one, and catches and sheaths the first one. Except he'd fail miserably and drop the swords. Then Kratos would say, "Don't die Lloyd." (in his serious voice).
Lloyd "Why does he ALWAYS say that?!"
Then Genis and Sheena (don't know any girl that likes anime that looks like her, so I don't know what we'd do for her. Maybe I'd see if I could convince another one of my male friends to dress up as her, lol) would walk on, and Sheena would be in her swim suit costume.
Kratos "That's a little revealing Sheena. I think you should change. Don't you think so Lloyd?"
Lloyd *drooling and laughing like an idiot*
Kratos "Gah! What about you Genis?"
Genis "...I think I just went through puberty!"
Kratos *slaps forehead and groans*
Then Sheena and Genis would walk off.
*WARNING: TOS SPOPILER ABOUT KRATOS HERE. STOP READING IF YOU DON'T WANT TO RUIN THE STORY OF TOS*
*TALKING IN CAPITALS MAKES MY VOICE HURT*
It'd just randomly be the scene where Kratos' truth comes known.
Lloyd "Kratos can't be, my Dad!"
Then N would walk on with a Darth Vader mask.
Darth Vader "No Luke, I AM YOUR FATHER!"
Lloyd "NO!"
Then N puts on a Mufasa (The Lion King) mask.
Mufasa "No. You are MY son, and the one true king!"
Lloyd "NOOO!"
Then Sheena enters, normal clothes on.
Sheena "Yeah, I threw away that swim suit. I don't like it."
Lloyd "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!" *falls to the ground*
And that's the end. I know, a few kinks need to be worked out, but in theory, what do you think? lol.
Quote of the Post: "OOOO I THINKI SAW HIM!!! HE WERE AWSOMELY CUTE BIF THATS WHO I SAWW!! >.<" - one of the girls on the Otakuthon forums talking about me. Very coherent, isn't she?
P.S. I don't think I should've gone to the convention. Some of this sudden (and very odd) popularity is going to my head. lol. Excuse me while I go beat it out of me...
P.P.S. Wow, another REALLY long post. Oh well.

Otakuthon was... AWSOME
Wow. That was an awsome day.
Ok, before I get started, I want to say a few things. First of all, this is probably going to end up being a rather long post, so just bear that in mind. If you can't read a lot right now, wait and do it later, lol. But really, it may look long, but it doesn't really take to long to read. And if you don't read it, you might miss some of the funny things and some of the pics. Speaking of pics, I have links to some pics (obviously) of me in my costume, and at Otakuthon. If you don't want to see what I look like (I don't know about anyone else, but I find it kind of wierd knowing what a person looks like when you've never actually met them, but that's just me. Even so, I still look at pics of people when they post them, lol), then don't look at any of the pics. Oh, and just to let you know, I don't look very happy in any of the pics for some reason. lol. Normally I'm always laughing, so maybe I was just caught at bad times, lol.
Anyways, on with the story of today.
Well, I woke up at 5:00 AM, as planned. I had a shower, then died my hair (red), and dressed up in my costume. By this time, it was 6:00 AM, so I ate, grabbed my stuff, and was out the door by 7:15 AM (later then I planned).
And so began the three (3) hour drive from my house to Montreal. Fun, fun. Here's a pic of me in the car. I must've listened to "Zips" by T.M. Revolution at least 30 times (including both ways)! It's my favorite Japanese song right now, lol.
Oh, funny side story. I stopped for a bathroom break and for a bite to eat, and when I went inside the fast food place, there is of course tons of little kids because it just HAPPENS to be some sort of Camp Day for some little kid organization. So I went inside, and all the little kids began poitning and talking about my red hair (most of my costume was not put on at this point).
Anyways, I finally got to the Convention at about 10:15 AM, 15 minutes after it opened. I went inside the building, and found a mass of people in what appeared to be several disorganized lines. There were quite a few people cosplaying, but most just had a moogle hat or a Naruto headband or something else small like that. There were only a few "true" cosplayers (people that had completely dressed up). So anyways, I went to a bathroom and changed into my costume, and went to stand in one of the lines. Luckily an organizer of some sort came over to me and asked me if I had pre-registered (which I had), and told me that the line I was in was for those that hadn't. She directed me over to a much smaller line, and I was into the convention by 11:15 AM.
First thing I did was go to look at the shops (well, tables that had stuff on them, lol). There turned out to be a LOT less than I had expected. There were only about five or six vendors, so there wasn't nearly as much selection as I was hoping for. Still, after looking around a bit, I found an awsome table filled with great things like FMA watches, Final Fantasy rings and necklaces, and a whole lot more. There was even a Death Note notebook! I wanted to buy it just to freak out my friends. Anyways, I ended up buying only two things. One: an FMA pocketwatch. It's a replica of Ed's! It's really nice, and even has the etching of "Don't forget 3. Oct. 1111"! It's so awsome! I also bought a really cool ring, even though I have no idea what the thing on it is from. Whatever, though, it looks cool. I was planning on buying some shirts, but there was abysmal selection (like three different shirts in the whole vendor area). One was of Sasuke, another was Nana, and I don't know what the other was. I was thinking of buying the Sasuke one, but decided against it, as I'm not really that crazy about Naruto.
There was some other pretty cool things for sale though. Like all the dolls, and the replica of Ed's coat. There were tons of DVDs and mangas, but nothing really good. There were also a whole bunch of models and figurines, but I decided not to buy any, as I was pretty sure the novelty of them would wear off rather fast (that, and I didn't really like any of them, lol, none of my favorite characters from any of my favorite animes).
I then went around the other places, like the games room, and the panels, for several hours. Nothing was amazingly interesting, but some of the things were pretty neat, like the panel of "How to Create, Organize, and Not be Driven Insane by Your Own Cosplay Group".
Other than that nothing really interesting happened. Except for one thing. That kept happening. A LOT.
People kept asking me if they could take my picture! The first time I was completely confused, but said ok anyways. But by the end of the day, I was completely used to it. I swear, I must've had my picture taken at LEAST 20 times. Heck, one time there was a veritable LINE of people that wanted to take my picture! One girl asked me, then just before she did, another one came, and another one!
I'm just wondering, as this was my first time going to an anime convention, is this normal? Is it normal for people to take pictures of cosplayers? And this MUCH?
Anyways, everyone seemed to be really impressed with my costume, especially the fact that I made up the idea myself. I had a LOT of people (almost solely girls it seemed) commenting on how they just LOOOOVED my costume. And then there were the girls that said they loved me. There were quite a few of those now that I think about it. And there were also quite a few girls that said I was "hot".
I swear, I think I made myself a fanbase while I was there. Wherever I went, there were girls giggling, squeeling, pointing, and eventually coming up to me.
And then there was that one group of girls that basically attacked me as got off an escalator. I was going down one of the escalators, and at the bottom, a group of three girls came up to me (giggling of course), and asked me if they could hug me.
I'm not joking! They seriously did!
So, I was just like, "Umm... why?"
They giggled, and answered "Because!"
I was confused, so I just replied, "Ok, whatever."
So then the three of them hugged me (all at once), giggled, then ran away, but not before yelling, "You're hot!"
Yeah, I was VERY confused by this point.
Oh, and just to let everyone know, the girls were only a year or two younger than me, so it wasn't wierd or anything.
But I can tell you, the WIERDEST thing was this:
This one girl came up to me and asked if she could take my picture. By now, I was numbed and used the wierdness of this idea, so I just said ok, posed, and she took a picture. Then she began to walk away with her friends, all whom began talking and giggling, then the girl that took my picture turned around, and yelled, "You're sexy!" Then she and her friends ran off into a crowd.
Well, I must say that I was rather stunned by this. I'd already been called "hot" several times, and have been before this, but to my recollection, I've never been called "sexy". What a wierd convention filled with half-crazed people.
Anyways, that's about it. Pretty fun and eventful day I must say!
Oh, here's some better pics I took of myself when I got home (I don't look like I'm 16, almost 17, do I?, lol.):
Pic1.
I don't know what it is about this one, but I like it a lot, even though it is from the back, lol.
Pic2.
And this one is just scary. It looks like I'm going to kill someone. lol.

1 Day to Otakuthon!!!!!!!!!! Tomorrow is Otakuthon!!!!!!
Tomorrow is OTAKUTHON!!! It's going to be so awsome!! I've never been to an anime convention!!
Oh, and Sangome, you SHOULD be jealous! HAHAHAHA!! This is going to be so awsome! I'm going to buy tons of t-shirts and other little things like... like... I DON'T KNOW, BUT I'M GOING TO GET THEM!!!
I'm a little high-strung right now.
My new hair dye is AWSOME!! It's red normally, but under black light it glows bright orange!! It's so cool! Yeah, so I most likely will be submitting a pic of me, since it will look pretty cool. I'll probably get one pic of me under a black light, and one normal.
Oh, and it looks like I WON'T be able to do that awsome design on the left half of my body, as I can't fund body/face paint anywhere. Gah, that sucks. Oh well. Everything else is cool enough to make up for it, lol.
I have to get up at around 5:00 AM tomorrow, since I'm leaving my house at 7:00 AM for the 3 hour drive to Montreal, and I have to get dressed, dye my hair, and eat. Good thing I'm fine with getting up early, lol.
Some of the things are going to be really neat! I just found out that one of the panels have the guy that created Anime News Network! It should be interesting. There's also a Studio Ghibli panel that I'm going to try to go to.
The only thing that's annoying me about the whole thing is that a lot of it seems to be rather disorganized, as on the website (www.otakuthon.com) they have things like "Gaming", but don't say anything about when or where anything is going to be. Gah, but oh well. I'll just figure out everything when I get there.
Well, I'll talk about it tomorrow! See everybody later!

2 Days to Otakuthon!
Well my new article is up. It's another "Underdogs" article, this time on the awsome soccer anime "Whistle!". You can check it out here.
Just reading "Whistle!" makes me want to play soccer. Gah, I wish I could've played this summer, but I CAN'T because of... a certain reason... I'll talk about it when it comes closer to the time.
Yay! I'm going to Otakuthon on Saturday, and that's almost here!!! I can't wait!! It's going to be so awsome (at least I'm expecting it to be, lol)!! My costume is done, though I may decide to add on a few things tomorrow or something. And I finally got some more red hair dye, so that good and done, but I STILL need to figure out what to do for the design. Gah, it looks like I may not be able to do it. Oh well, whatever happens, happens.
I'll probably post a pic of my costume, if I remember.

4 Days to Otakuthon!
dragon phoenix: I got the necklace from Ebay. All I did was search for "Tales of Symphonia", and I looked in all of the sections other than "Video Games" or whatever it is. There was some other really cool stuff like figurines of the characters, art books, OSTs, and a lot of other things. I only wish I had the money...
So it looks like no one got what I was trying to research two posts ago. Good. That way there'll be no way for any of you to figure out what I'm writing my article on. That and I can try more research on all of you again! MWHAHAHAHA!!! *throws hands up into the air, lightning in background*
Bah! That's what I say to your threat Pleiades Rising! BAH! I used "..." overly in my last post just to spite you! MWHAHAHAHAHA!! Do your worst! I am indestructable!! (or is it indestructible?)
And until we (you know who you are, all of you!) have that massive fight, I own all those words! *draws two katanas, and gets into a fighting stance*
You know what? I just realized something. I'm making a LOT of enemies this, and the last few posts...

5 Days to Otakuthon!
GAH! Can't you people do anything right?!?! Here I was, trying to collect data for artcile, but NOOOO, all of you have to say nothing that is good evidence!! GAH!!!
...
...
...
...
Sorry about that. It's just that one of the things I was trying to do in my last post was gather evidence for my article codenamed "Genders". So from what I can determine is that either you all think what I'm trying to prove by not saying anything, or you all think the exact opposite. Hmmm... I'm going to have to gather more data... (oh, and if you want to know what part of the post I'm talking about, just think about it, and look around. I'm sure it won't be too difficult to figure out. I don't want to say though because it might give away what part of my "Genders" article is about)
I FINALLY got my Tales of Symphonia necklace!! It's so awsome!! It's a little smaller than I thought it was, but it's still awsome!! Like I said before, it has the Tales of Symphonia symbol on it (the thing in the title on the cover of the game, the compass thingy).
Wow, I just realized today that I only have this week, the next, two days, and then exams!! School is almost over!! And then it'll be July, and then I'm...!!
Ah, actually I think I'll wait until later to release that bit of info. lol.

6 Days to Otakuthon!
Well before I begin, I just want to answer (or perhaps just comment) on some of the things you guys said last post.
TimberWolf: I MIGHT post a pic of my costume when it's finished. I'm kind of in two minds about it. On one side, there's the fact that my costume does look cool. But on the other side there's the fact that all the females on the site would become obsessed with the picture, just because I'm so good looking!
...
...
...
Oh God, I'm laughing my head off here! Heh heh heh, don't mind me. I just make jokes like that a lot. Just ask Backlash Wave, lol. He'll tell you how I'm such a lecher (but in a fake, sarcasticly joking way). lol.
But seriously (which is no fun), I think I might. I probably will if I remember.
Pleiades Rising: I run low on hair dye easily when I've had it for several years. lol. I bought a spray can of it several years ago, and since then I dye my hair red every Canada Day (and some Haloweens).
dragon phoenix: "Gah" is mine. End of story. Or maybe we should fight for it! lol.
Anyways, on to slightly less stupid things (on my part).
I finished my "Underdogs: Whistle!" article. I'm pretty happy with it too, so that's good, lol. But I didn't have a chance to re-watch Whisper of the Heart this weekend, so it looks like it may be postphoned for several weeks (as next weekend I'm going to Otakuthon, and then after that exams are coming up). Oh well. What happens, happens.
I changed my avatar back to Sheena.
I just realized something. The only thing I DON'T like about using a female character for an avatar is that I think people will immediatly assume I'm a girl.
Nevermind my ramblings, it's just a random thought...
Anyways, I began playing Tales of Symphonia again (I'm just doing all the sidequests on my sixth game) yesterday, when I relaized my avatar hasn't been her for a LONG time, and then I felt bad. I abandoned her!
...
...
...
Great, now I sound like a creep.

7 Days to Otakuthon!
Gah. I had a LONG day today. I had to fix my computer.
I completely reformated my hard drive becuase there were a whole bunch of problems after my security program corrupted itself and began blocking the wrong things, a eventually died. Yeah, I know, sounds like a virus. Probably was.
Anyways, I spent six (6) hours burning CDs, and reinstalling a whole lot of programs. And I still have quite a bit more to go. But I'm tired, I'll do it some other time.
I didn't write either of my Underdog articles today. I was expecting to finish them both, or at least finsih one. Oh well, I still might finish the Whistle! one tonight, but I don't have enough time to watch Whisper of the Heart again tonight. I'd probably fall asleep halfway through it, lol.
Well I almost completely finished my costume. But there's one big problem: I CAN'T FIND FACE/BODY PAINT ANYWHERE!!! GAH! I can't find any store that sells it! I NEED it! Gah.
Otherwise, I'm basically done. I DO need to buy some more hair dye though, I'm running low.
Oh well. There's always time for that later.
Yes, later. I'm tired now.
