I'm becoming way too predictable for myself... if that makes sense...
So any of you that read my last post knows that I was wondering if I would get around to starting an article or a quiz. Well it seems that whenever I write something like "I might have time to start something, then again I might not.", I ALWAYS seem to immediatly go off and do one of the things.
And so, as soon as I finished my post, I made a quiz and submitted it. lol. It turned out pretty well, I think. It's on The Legend of Zelda. It's a quiz with the question, "Which Triforce Piece Would You Have?"
Funny how I got the idea. I was bored in my Chemistry class earlier that day, and I started drawing on myself (I seem to do that a lot, just ask Backlash Wave about one of the two times that I drew this huge design all over my hand and partially up my arm). Eventually my doodling turned into a rather large triangle on the back of my hand. Then I was like, "I've got a piece of the triforce." But then I wondered, which one?
To those of you that don't know, the Triforce is divided into three parts: Courage, Wisdom, and Power.
My quiz follows the same basic idea as my first one, using questions based off of real personality quizzes.
Well Backlash Wave is coming over tomorrow, and we're going to play games, but we're also going to try to write the first of what will probably end up being a long series of articles. The way we're going to write them is going to be really neat. I can't wait to see what other people think of our idea!
Quote of the Post: This is a small conversation between two characters in a book from my favorite series. G is for Garion (male), and C is for Ce'Nedra (female).
G: "They're in love."
C: "What's that got to do with it?"
G: "Love does these things to people, it seems to knock holes in their judgement or something."
C: "What a fascinating observation, do go on."
G: "As soon as somebody falls in love, all the wits seems to dribble out the bottom of his head."
C: "What a colourful way to put it."
G: "It's almost as if it were some kind of disease."
C: "Do you know something, Garion? Sometimes you make me positively sick."
G: "What did I say?"

I am at a loss for a title
Not a whole lot going on with me right now. Just the usual. A few article ideas, most of which I'm too lazy to write, a good idea for a quiz, but once again, that would take WAY too much time, and I've got to study for a Physics test that I've got tommorow. Still, I might have time to at least start a quiz or an article, whichever I feel like, lol.
That one interesting thing is that Backlash Wave and I have thought up a cool idea. We're going to start doing some collaborations for articles, but the way that we're doing it is what we believe is going to make them interesting. I won't say anything more (I admit it, I'm paranoid that you all will steal my masterful idea, lol), but just wait a while, and perhaps even as soon as next week we'll have our first one out!
Oh, I'm now a member of SOAP. Just thought I'd mention it.
I think I'll go do something now. I could play a game, or I could do something theotaku-related. Hmmm... write an article or make a quiz, or play a game... hmmm....

And (what I believe to be) my best...
Well my 23rd article is up. You can check it out here. It's on... well... it's kind of hard to describe exactly, but it involves heroes, what they are, and sacrifices, and what they are. Just go read it if you're interested.
I'm REALLY happy with it. I believe it to be my best article. I really like the base idea, and while I do believe I could've written it better, I'm still quite happy with the result. So check it out please! I want everyone to see what I believe to be my crowning achievment (although I wonder if I actually have achieved anything, lol) of my writting career here at theotaku!
Ah, whatever...
You'd think I'd get bored. Of what? Zips, by T.M. Revolution. It's such a great song! I think I have to say that T.M. Revolution is my favorite Japanese band. True, I know nothing about them or anything, but I don't ever really care about the band that writes a song, I care more about the song itself! Anyways, I've been listening to Zips constantly for the past three days! Although it's still no where near My Will from Inuyasha. Sorry, don't know the artist, but I do know that it's an amazing song. Still one of my absoulute favorites!
And I've got nothing else on my mind. It's blank.
lol.

Hmmm...
I’m currently deep in thought (as deep as I can, lol). About what? Whether or not I should join... THE ORGANIZATION!!
By that I mean SOAP.
lol. When SOAP was first created I was going to join, but after the last minute (I had already sent a PM asking to join), I sent another PM saying that I’d changed my mind, and that I didn’t want to. The reason being mainly because I felt I wouldn’t have any power over what happened, or anything. Yet now I realize that doesn’t really matter; SOAP isn’t like some sort of organization that actually does things, they just write. Like me. lol.
I think I will join.
Anyways, enough of my muttering that everyone in the real world ignores.
I've been thinking about something for a while. Does anyone else ever wonder how "famous" they are on this site? What I mean is do you ever wonder how well known you are?
Like, if someone else sees you comment somewhere, do you wonder if people recognize you? And for those of you that submit things (articles, wallpapers, etc.), do you ever wonder if other users are like, "Hey! It's another (whatever) by (whoever)! I've gotta see it!" I have to admit that I do wonder...
On a random note, TREES ARE HEAVY!! We're planting some in my backyard, so I (and my two brothers) had to unload ten sapling cedar trees. Only thing was that THEY WEREN'T SAPLINGS ANYMORE!! A sapling is a little baby tree right? Well if these were saplings, they must've had giants for parents! Gah! They were heavier then those 60 pound (33 kg) bags of cement I had to carry around when helping my Dad build the base for our new fence! I'm pretty sure each of those trees were about 100 pounds (so probably around 50 kg) each (not too mention about 10 feet tall!)!! Gah, I'm tired...

Am I the only one? (rant)
This is just a ranting post. You've been warned.
Almost every single user on theotaku is talking about at least one of two things: Advent Children, or Kingdom Hearts 2. GAH! Am I really the only one that doesn't like either of these things?!
Ok, it's not that I don't like KH2, it's just that I don't have a PS2 (and there is NO way I'd ever buy one, I'm a Nintendo-fan through and through), and from what I've seen (my friend Backlash Wave has both of the games), it seems like a pretty good series, but not THAT great. I've played Chain of Memories, but I have to say that it too wasn't able to keep my interest very well; the story just wasn't enticing enough.
And then there's Advent Children. I've seen most of it (bits and parts from random places), and I can say quite surely that I think that it is absoulute garbage. All it is is a good-graphic (I have to admit that those graphics are pretty good) CG version of The Matrix. All it seems to be is fighting, and very dumb, and completely fake fighting at that. There seems to be no story whatsoever. Gah.
People are always biting my head off when I talk like this, but I have to say that it's my true opinion on both of those matters.
I suppose one thing behind all of this is the fact that I don't have a PS2 (or 1 for that matter). It's not that I hate PS (at least not nearly to that same degree as I hate Xbox, both the original and 360), it's just that I don't like it. I do have to admit that there are quite a few good games on it. However, what I don't like is the way that Sony stole Square-Enix from Nintendo. And I have to say that, in my opinion, the quality of Square-Enix's games just keeps going down. Chrono Cross for example. Absoulute crap. Pretty good graphics for its time, but the story really could've been made so that it was actually flowing and didn't overly suck. I just find that Square-Enix seems to be concentrating on graphics, and not stories. To me, Sony ruined Square-Enix.
On the SNES and NES there were such great RPGs that Square made, like Secret of Mana, Secret of Evermore, Super Mario RPG, Chrono Trigger, and so many others.
Funny, I never did like the Final Fantasy games, even the ones I had for my NES and SNES. Maybe that's part of the reason I don't like PS, as all it seems to have is Final Fantasy.
Gah, I'm finished ranting. So go ahead and bite my head off, since I know almost all of you that read this disagree with me.

Prima Carta (or whatever the words are)
Well I just finished and submitted another article.
It's not my Naruto one, I'm still waiting for a few of the manga to be returned to my library.
No, this is an article that I mentioned long ago. I said that I thought it was a great idea, maybe one of my best. And now that I've finished writing it, I'd have to say that I believe this article is the best I've ever written. Both the writing and the base idea are (what I believe to be) my best. I'm really happy with how it turned out. I really, really like the idea, and while I do believe that I could've written it better (I don't know how, but I believe I could've), I'm still quite happy with the result.
I won't say too much about it, but I'll just give a brief description. It's on Heroes and Sacrifices. Kind of funny, my original idea was (of course, it always seems to be this way with writing) slightly different. As I wrote, my idea eventually developed into an odd mix of my original idea, as well as a completely unexcpected description of what heroes are. Ah, it's hard to describe. Just read it (if you're interested), and you'll see what I mean.
So it turns out there's an anime convention in Toronto (Anime North) coming up. I'm actually seriously thinking of going to it. While it is relatively close, it's still pretty far away. I probably won't be able to go. But if there was someway I could, that would be sweet...
Blargh, I've got a Biology test tomorrow. It's on genetics. It doesn't seem like there's too much to study for it, and it seems like it's going to be really easy. Which is what scares me. Usually I'm freaked the day before a Bio test, because there's so much to go through. But now there isn't as much, which makes me think that I won't study enough, and then the test will turn out to be really hard or something. Gah. I'm annoyed. I guess I'll just study the same as normal, and hope for the best. I really have to do well on this test. My Bio mark is my lowest mark, so I REALLY need to raise it.
Ah, whatever...

WHAT? (Acronym for - Why Have A Title?)
Well my 22nd article is up. You can check it out here. It's on Video Game Tantrums.
Sweet! I'm still going up in popularity! I'm now 6th on the Most Popular Writers list! Ahhh, whatever. It's not like anyone else's opinion matters. Only mine does as it's the real one. lol. Just my usual sarcastically arrogant self.
I finally took out some Naruto manga from my library, so I can continue writing my article! The only problem is that not all of them were in, so I only have 3, 4, and 5 to work with right now. I guess I'll just start with them, then add in the rest later. What I really want are the next two mangas, as they were the ones that had a lot of what I'm going to write about (at least I think they're the ones that have them).
Calvin and Hobbes is the best. If you've never read Calvin and Hobbes, you HAVE to. If you don't know what Calvin and Hobbes is, you should be dragged out into a street and shot. lol. Anyways, Calvin and Hobbes is the best comic strip ever created. It's so funny, and so interesting, because Bill Waterson (the creator) put in some really interesting messages in many of the strips. I just remembered about them today because a random person at school mentioned them, and I had a huge conversation with him about Calvin and Hobbes. I have every single book, so it's easy to tell I'm a diehard fan. If you've never read any of it, then you should go to a bookstore and look at them! I'm positive there will be at least a few of the books there. Calvin and Hobbes is great. That's also where I got my favorite quote ever:
"Reality continues to ruin my life." - Calvin
I got my midterm report card today. I'm doing ok, but I need to raise my average at least 2% to reach my minimum accepted goal. I need to get at least a 92% average to match my previous semester's average of 92%. I need to get at LEAST a 92% average! Why?
Because.

Blargh
I've taken an odd liking to the word (or semblence of a word) "Blargh". I'm saying it all the time. Whenever something bad happens, or something that confuses me, I just randomly say it, much to the confusion of the more normal people around me, lol.
Sorry about that random thing. I just found it funny, lol.
I wrote another article a few days ago. Yay for randomness! I still haven't written that Naruto one! I was going to take out all of the Naruto manga (the first 7, or was it 8? can't remember) from my shool's library are read through them again just to make sure I write it properly. Then I went and forgot! Blargh! Gah (hey! nother word I seem to say a lot)! Oh well, I just have to remember tomorrow.
Anyways, this new one was (as usual it seems) one that I thought up randomly on the spot. This time I was playing Counter Strike (I've already gotten bored of it now though, lol), and I got mad at the game. I didn't do anything rash, I just cursed under my breath. That made me think of how I USED to be, lol. The good days when I was a much smaller kid and would practically break my controller whenever a game got me annoyed. lol.
Anyways, I wrote an article on Video Game Tantrums, and why they aren't so bad. lol. Maybe I was just trying to console myself.
Ah, whatever...

Whew, what a week!
Wow, I haven't really been here since Tuesday! Man I've been busy!
With what you ask? Fine, you don't ask, but I'm still going to tell you! My blog, my rules. lol.
Anyways, I've had the usual amount of homework, so nothing big there, so that's not really a big factor. The main thing is this: I've been playing. Playing (I'm sad to admit it) Counter Strike.
It was on my school's network, so at school I played it with some friends during my Computer Science class (My teacher? he didn't really care. In fact, he joined in towards the end of class!), and I was quite impressed with it. I usually (actually never) like first-person shooters. I just find them too boring. Not enough strategy to make it them good war-type games. But I have to admit that CS is pretty good. The multiplayer really is quite fun.
So anyways, I just copied the game (by taking parts of it on each of my three USB disks) to my computer at home, and I've been playing it almost constantly. I don't know what it is exactly, but something about it just makes it really quite fun.
Anyways, on to anime related things...
I think I just might start (heh, lol) that article on Naruto. I might write it tonight in fact. I'll see if I'm in the mood.
And that's about the extent of the interesting things happening to me lately.
OH! Wait, come back! One very funny thing! Don't leave yet!
Ok, it was Thursday, and I was in my Chemistry class, which was just before lunch. We had to liberate the hydrogen from Hydrochloric Acid, by displacing it with aluminum. If you're not a chemist, and don't understand this don't worry. Hydrochloric Acid is a moderatly strong acid that does burn if it's molarity is high. Anyways, my idea to collect the hydrogen was the create a vaccum (long story) using water (too much to explain). Anyways, what I eventually ended up doing was syphoning 6 molar (moderatly acidic. Watered down quite a bit, but still burning to the touch or smell) hydrochloric acid into my mouth. GAH! IT BURNED! lol. Kind of funny, since my teacher had mentioned earlier in the class that one way to collect the hydrogen was to create a vaccum by syphoning (which is what I was trying). He commented that he wouldn't be surprised if someone was stupid enough to accidently syphon the acid into their mouth. Which is exactly what I did. lol. Did I ever feel smart.
Funny, I have the highest mark in my class too. 97%. And yet I managed to burn away a lot of my taste buds in my mouth for about half a day.
lol

It's my signature! .........except it's not on paper...
I went back to school today. I got to show my video. Everyone liked it, everyone always does, no matter who they are. lol. But the best thing about this project is that it's more or less peer-marked. Each person has to mark each group on a few things, then the teacher takes all of the marks in and averages them out, or something like that. She does "have the last say" of course, but still, that's great news for me! Looks like I just may get a 100% on my project just because of the fact that I managed to put a fight scene in a video about nuclear energy! lol. It was pretty funny...
I found out something neat a few days ago. It seems my mission to make my hair anime-like is going quite well! First of all, there's Backlash Wave's Dad. Backlash Wave says his Dad refers to me as "Yugioh" or however you spell it. True, I don't like that anime, but still! It seems I'm on the right path! And also, this funny thing happened that made me realize how much my hair stands out. I was going to Backlash Wave's house after school last Thursday to work on our Physics project, and another friend of ours caught up with us. He said that he thought it was Backlash Wave and another one of our friends, but then realised it was me because of my hair. lol. I didn't know my hair stood out that much! I guess I'm just use to it! lol. I guess it's going in the right direction, but I'm definitely not where I want to be. I need to grow it longer, mainly at the back and sides, since I haven't cut the front in about half a year, lol. I want to grow a whole bunch of long strands that just fall out of the main part of my hair which will be slightly more jagged or something... hmmm.... I've got to think about this more... lol. All I can really do now is wait for it to grow longer! lol.
It's kind of funny. I think I actually look quite a bit like Haru from Rave Master. Except instead of white hair, I have dirty blonde, as well as having glasses. lol. Still... that may be a good way to describe me. lol.
