   ...*coughs*...
It's been nearly two months since I last posted. O_O SLACKER!
Well, the band trip I mentioned in June 9th post was tons of fun. The worst part was the bus ride there, because we had to sleep on the buses. ~_~ Nothin' like being on a bus for 13 hours, getting yelled at by chaperones (because the Pennsylvania Posse sat near the front), and trying to fall asleep sitting. (I just can't do that). Oh, and not to mention putting on my retainers (they look like those invisible braces from a few years back)and having to take them off two hours later because someone offered me food. ^^; In the morning, I just popped them off, wiped the spit off on my shirt, and shackled them back into their cases. Yayyy...
I really can't say too much about the actual trip. The bus rides actually seemed to be the most entertaining part, because we had to go on them everyday to get somewhere. Ugh, but going to Arlington, Virginia from Gettysburg, Pennsylvania really sucks the life outta ya.
We call one of my friends Waffle-chan. And there was a Waffle House being renovated right across the street from our hotel. ^^;
The hotel we stayed at (Wyndham) soon got the nick name of the Flying Pig Hotel. (Wynd = wind, flying; ham = pig;...get it?). What was really weird was that it was one of those luxorious hotels. Ballrooms, a fancy restaurant inside (mind you, we never used it ~_~), and a sauna! A FREAKIN' SAUNA! ^^; I spent tons of time in that steamy room, but the pool was awesome. There was an indoor one and an outdoor one, connected by this waterway with an opening in the wall to swim outside/inside. I preferred the inside one, mainly 'cause it was warm and every single time we used the pool, it was around 8 at night.
Hershey Park. Damn, the place is WAY cooler than Six Flags! ^^ If you go to Pennsylvania, don't forget this place!
Hershery Land was really cool too. It was like a place to learn about the "history" of Hershey chocolate, and buy tons of it. Lorenza bought a five pound chocolate bar (about three feet long) for her family. Me, Meghan, Liz, and Lorenza went on the tour thingie four times. It was a day well...er, wasted. -.-
Lastly, I'll throw in this tidbit about the Pennsylvania Posse. There's ten of us (two boys and eight girls o_O), with five now in eigth grade and five now freshman. Four girls and a guy on each side, too. ^^; We're nutty people, kinda insane while you're at it, who kept quoting Azumanga Daioh, Dr. Demento (mainly "singing" his songs), and playing Mad Libs. Oh man, if you have a bunch of friends with you and you're going on a trip, bring Mad Libs. The ten of us alone filled out every single story left in Liz's book. -__- And now, the members:

Me (Oboe) (8th)
Lorenza (French horn) (8th)
Allyson/Waffle-chan (Alto sax) (Freshman)
Erin (French horn) (Freshman)
Aaron (Alto sax) (8th)
Liz (Flute) (8th)
Meghan (Flute) (8th)
Logan (Alto sax) (Freshman)
Marissa (Baritone) (Freshman)
Rochelle (Trombone) (Freshman)

Unique, neh? ^_~
