Where's Kat? NOT watching the Academy Awards, of course!
Just this morning, I logged on and there were 100,500 members. If that wasn't scary enough, there are now 100,568. Or something like that. >.>
After reading DDG's long explantion on why not to post everyday, I realized: "Hey! I should add her to my friends list!"
Moral: Ehh...?
Change the background to this place. OH MY GOD! Yeah, I never do that kind of stuff, and I prefer my simple little design because it doesn't take out a knife and gouge out your eyes. XD All it is is the full picture from where my little karaoke demon comes from - *points to her picture* - and thought would be with three girls: one enjoying the singing, one sweatdropping at the performance, and the demon going all-out. What's weird is that I look like the sweatdropping gir...but then my demon form looks like the karaoke girl. o.O
Moral: Too much Yu Yu Hakusho!
Today was the first tme I've ever went to Goodwill. I went there to pick up a costume for this OMDI thing, which is an old-fashion radio show. Man, that place is what one would call crap-HEAVEN! It's a bunch of tacky and crappy items and stuff...but you can find some useful stuff there. Sometimes.
Moral: Unless you wanna look poor, don't by all of your clothes from Goodwill.
And lastly, I entered a contest on the Conte's website...which was where you submitted a poem about how their music makes you feel/think/whatever. You e-mail 'em your poem, and Steve judges them. Entries are due by tomorrow - XD - so I got my lucky break by finding out about it today. The winners will be announced on March 1 (that rocks). The grand prize winner gets an autographed CD with the six songs Steve sung at Ohayocon and an autographed copy of the lyrics from one of the six songs. You got bonus points if you could name the six Yoko Kanno songs played, so I took a wild guess. Those wild guesses were:
Could You Bite the Hand?, Heaven's Not Enough, Stray, Call Me Call Me, Rain, and Living In the Shell.
Even if you don't get the grand prize, the first and second place winners get autographed somethings. I don't remember. >.>
But I'm hyped, and feeling slightly fangirlish.
Moral: Never let Kat see what Steve Conte looks like. Ever. Again.
XD
