Textbooks (espcially History ones) are evil...plus Katana's quarterly report card!
Yo. Long timie, no typie from me. I suppose. I've been kinda busy...er, scratch that. REALLY busy lately. I know, you've heard that excuse before. But, for once, mine is 100% true. Between craming for tests, working my butt off on projects, and rehearsing for the school play, I haven't had that much time to myself. The time I do is spent working on The Junkdraw (mein website), sleeping, doing homework, and eating. Not much, No Da?
So, why are textbooks, mainly History ones, evil? Well, it all happened on Wednesday...my SS teacher gave the class this summary thing to do AT THE END OF CLASS that was due the next day. So we scurry out of the room, and once I get my locker open, I have to shove my damn, 600-page, hardcover History book in there. After eighth period (SS is sixth), I took out my backpack, and discovered that my textbook had RIPPED OFF THE BACK COVER OF AZUMANGA DAIOH VOLUME 3!!! I was shocked, and swore death to the stupid thing.
Report card? Messa's butt is gonna get kicked, but this is how it went, according to mein website:
*yawns* I-SAT (I live in Illinois) really, really, really...sucks. Luckily I only had to take the Science and Social Science (History for the few of us that speak actual English), and I had them done within fifteen minutes. ^^; Fill-in-the-circle tests seem to be my best.
Report cards came out on Tuesday. During ninth period (which is band for me), the announcement came at about 2:27, so we all got packed up. During that time, Mr. Vandenbosch was playing 'The Deathmarch' (or, I'm pretty sure that's what it's called). Anyways, after receving my r.c., I took a deep breath, opened it up, scanned it over...and freaked out.
A in Science, A in Literature, A in Graphic Design (encore), A- in English (which broke the two quarter-in-a-row B+ legacy), A in History, A in Math, A in Gym, and A in Band. I practically jumped two feet in the air, then clobbered my poor friend Meghan, who helped me in my English. ^^ Me's was happy, especially with getting a perfect 4.0 GPA. ALRIGHT!
