Hi!
Hey everyone! Sword-chan, back again. Sorry I haven't written in so long! I've been so busy with all of my SCA stuff.
SCA - the Society for Creative Anachronism. The Current Middle Ages.
We're an educational group, not like your average "OOOO, I'm a wizard!" ren fairs. We actually research and create personas from the 500's to 1600's. It's so much fun! We do a lot, from dancing, fencing, swordfighting, axfighting (all fall under "fighting"), arts and sciences, illumination (middle ages artists), to scribing (calligraphy) and so much more! Or, you can just become a Known World-renowned cook. ^-^ It's so much fun!
Anyways, right now, I'm back at MILP - the Michigan Indian Leadership Program. Like I said last year, it's a whole lot of fun! I just got finished taking my practice English ACT test, so right now, I'm letting my brain rest a little. It's so~ hard! I kept falling asleep! ^-^ Oh well, I have more to do tomorrow. Hopefully I won't keep dozing off!
Well, another special thing about this year's camp is that there's going to be a camp dance! My second year coming here, the dance was sworn off due to a couple of counselors freakdancing when it wasn't allowed. There were a few tears shed, mistrust was errwerr, and it was uncool. So, the return of the dance is very awesome!
See you tomorrow!

Mmmm...SCA-flavored weekend...
The Society for Creative Anachronism is now my home...because it's where my heart is. With dancing, fighting, costuming and camping, the SCA definitely fills up a weekend. As a junior herald myself, I lost a quarter of a pound just this past weekend.
^-^;; Now apparently, I have a surrogate father.
Heehee, my good friend Filip is very sweet to me and thinks highly of me. I don't know if it was his drunkeness or whatever else...I made him cry when I sang his and his finacee's wedding song. >___< I can't help but feel bad for making him cry! My mom and gramma tell me not to feel bad because I moved him...I just meant to nudge, not shove off of a cliff! Ah, me. When sober, he tells me to revel in my talent...^-^;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;
Don't think so!!
People have called me shy, people have called me outgoing, and still other people have called me crazy. Human nature is certainly bizarre, isn't it? Of course, there's always a possibility that I'm _not really human_. Or that I really am clinically insane. ^-^ I suppose time will tell.
Mm. The bug bites on my legs itch like the world is ending...
Well, I'll see you all again!

I am happy!
Yes! *sings* school's - out - for - summmer!!! We got out on June 7th. I am so impossibly happy! However, with the matter of open houses still at hand, I was left still feeling like a freshman. There's only one left though - that of my trainer and master, Phil Hinkley. He's cool, he's Asian, and he's leaving tech behind. *weep* I don't know what we'll do without him.
A quick review on freshman days past...
Sept. thru Oct. : Many a marching band football game! Many a night spent dancing! Many a glance desperately avoided! What was I thinking when I had a crush on Eric?!?
Sept. thru Nov. : Hours and hours poured into the first techie experiences in my high school career. Going smashingly, the musical sold well and I became famous. During the last night, I became a techie legend. (One of few techies that can ACTUALLY sing!)
Dec. : Discovery of the talent that lies within - the creation of one of my most famous works. The Bear on the Mountain is what I'm entering into the fair, and none of you can stop me!! Muwahaha!
Dec. thru Jan. : Pep band days! Hours spent looking for my new crush, Dirty Hippie. More hours spent on playing loud and singing my heart out. Disappointments abound, but not before I had hotdogs.
Jan. : The month of evil...my first high school exams! I soar through subjects like there's no tomorrow, and with my trusty CD player, I make the grade.
Feb. : The entire school knows my name. With the talent show, or Indoles Festival, my good name and better voice, I stun everyone into a standing ovation.
Mar. thru April : The play where I served as a cue-master! Cue-ing one of the important aspects of the play was my job as **Stage Manager-in-Training**!!! More cast parties, more feeling bad, and more knowledge that God is really a cat!! (don't ask...XD)
May : My first open house. My first knowledge that some of the people I looked up to the most smoked. However, also the first acknowledgement of my existance by the Dirty Hippie!! My presence in the booth is requested and I find out that God sent bears to assassinate people. (Again, don't ask XDDD)
June : I finally escaped from school. With a tear shed and a fond farewell, my freshman year as Mason High School ends.
Lovely look into the past, wasn't it? Well, I enjoyed this year with all of you! I hope to see you again soon!

Sorry for the wait! ^-^
Hello, minna-san! Sword-chan, back again for your probable sick enjoyment! (I apologize - I've been in a poetic movement today. :P)
You ever notice that all life is like one long poem? Everyone seems to have things in their life that would create spectacular views into the human world. Even the whore down the street from you who has to support her baby. Even that abusive loved one who broke and remade you like a paper doll. Even your friend who lost their love, only to be painfully reminded every time they look in the mirror. You can find it everywhere, even if it's a single action of complete kindness out of your entire year, or the longest 'happy' poem that could ever possibly be made. ^-^ Like skin, it's everywhere!
Uhm...yeah.
Anyways, more news on the Sword-chan front...
No, my crush is not a complete d**khead. I've finally gotten over him laughing at me, and I decided I would prefer that to him hissing everytime someone mentioned me. ^-^ I've gotten over being called Pahua, too. That's a story for another day...
In other happenings, the dance event was lovely!! Even though my mom decided we're not going to Pensic, we're going to go to other camping events to see how we adapt to living in a tent. Isn't that insane? We've never been camping! We'll rectify that this summer, though.
Also in that other happenings category, tonight is my school play's opening night! It's going to go on for the next two days as well. Seeing as I'm a stage manager...
I'M REALLY FREAKIN' NERVOUS!!!!!
I have to cue some of the most important parts in the play!! I have been screwing up like no other the last couple of days!! They've been going late, sound isn't working right...GARR!!!
I'll get over it, though. ;P
Ermm....that's it.
See all of you later! Wish me the best of luck for my play! ^-^

I'm back!
Hey everyone! I'm really sorry I haven't written!! Last couple of weeks have been tough. For some reason, my sadist teachers feel the need to stress me out with a load of homework!! Mehhh...they're plotting against me...
*cough* anyways...
News on the Sword-chan front...
I've just come to a realization: My crush is a total d**khead who enjoys laughing at me. -.-;; As you can imagine, I was crushed. I'm probably blowing it out of proportion, but it was really unenjoyable to find out that he laughed at me. ,-_____- *tear*
Despite that, I still have a crush on him....-.-;;
On a lighter note:
YAYYY!!! SCA dance event tomorrow!! I'm so glad. I miss dancing with my friends. For those of you that don't know, SCA is a reenactment group. We go medival. ^-^ Heehee...yeah, that was a pun. -.-;;;
Also, I was made Assistant Stage Manager of the play. How great is that?!?!? I'm glad that I was entrusted with such a big responsibility like that. So happy!! YAY.
Well, that's all the news I have for now, so see you later!

Oh...so...sleepy...
Hi, everyone. Today was pretty good, except for now that I'm back in Mason, I have to go to my old apartment and completely clear out. -.- < zzzzz ) so...yeah.
But it's not all bad. My friend Sylvia is over with us until tomorrow, so we're probably going to have lots of fun when we start to play video games and shtuff. ^-^;
I also have a bunch of homework to do. There's stuff in science, world studies, english, yada yada yada...and I'm really hungry right now. :p I'll get over it though. ^-^
Mmm. Did I mention I made it into the school-wide talent show? It rules! I can't wait. It's next Saturday, so I don't have too long to wait. Also, Steve will be doing a drum solo!! *super happy heart* I really look forward to that.
Well, I suppose that's it for today, minna-san.

Loads of Homework...fuuun.
Hi, minna-san. Sorry I didn't post yesterday, there was a jazz festival I had to perform at. ^-^ It was really fun in the beginning, but after noon it got kinda boring. -.-;;; There is too much of a good thing.
Don't get me wrong, I normally love jazz and really could listen to it all day. One of the mentor-people kept saying he'd 'keep it short' but then kept going on a spiel to the band directors about what to do! Plech. He was annoying. Some of the bands were really awesome, though, so that was cool. ^-^
I like a lot of types of music. I like pretty much everything (from classic rock to classical) except for heavy metal and country. Don't ask why, it just kinda rubs me the wrong way. Nothing against the people who listen to those though; everyone has their own opinions about art.
The title is true, though. The only reason I can type this is because I have to type an opinionated paper on "The Truman Show" and reality. I don't mind, but I also have homework in pretty much every subject known to man. -.-;; It's all the jazz festival's fault. ^-^; Oh well. One assignment down, two more to go...whooo.
Well, I'll be going now. See you tomorrow, minna-san! ^-^

Woohoo for Pep Band!!
Hey, minna-san! I've decided to start calling myself Sword-chan! so there's my new nickname for you all! ^-^
Aside from that...
I love pep band! I get to sit in a really nice vantage point to the b-ball game, sit next to a guy who an easily make me laugh, and afterwards there's sometimes a dance! w00t!
Last night's game was a little better than the rest, though. It all stems from a look a guy gave me. What happened was that on Thursday afternoon I had an audition for the festival at our school! (Apart from being a big nerd, I can sing pretty well, too.) And the judges were all people I had seen around the school. The guys from Light and Sound (the division of the tech crew who seem kinda...elite) were there. I sang, they clapped, and right after that I _ran off the stage_. Well, at the b-ball game, I was waiting at the place where we sit to get out because the game was over. I'm just sorta...casually scanning the people below for any friends I might've had to wave to down there, when Andy (one of two seniors who runs Lights/Sound) looks up at me and gives me the strangest look, as if to say, "Why are _you_ in the band?" (That's how I interpreted it, anyway.)
That may not be so significant to you, but it was a _compliment_ to me!! Getting a compliment from a senior who has seen many voices go by...that just seems really cool to me.
...and also, after the next game, there will be a dance! I can't wait!!
Well, that's about all I wanted to say. Ja-ne, minna-san!

Konnichi-wa, my friends!!
Hi everybody!! I'm so glad to finally have this place to vent again. ^-^ Much news for today!!I'm writing this in English class, so I'm going to have to hurry. But I can tell you really fast what's happening!!
First of all, my talent show auditions are today!! o_0;;;;; **super freeked** I really hope that I'll do alright, because I've been coughing and my throat is raw. I'm pretty sure I've solved my problem, though! ^-^
Also, there is a new crush I have!! I haven't talked to my old b/f for quite a while, so...um...yeah. ^-^;;; *super blush* His name is Steve and he is a hippie. ((Gawd I hope he doesn't come here...-.-;;;;)) He's a senior...and I am a ginormous dork. If I get a crush, guess who it'll be on?!?
A senior.
Merk, I wouldn't change it though. ^-^ I meet nice people along the way! ^-^;;;;
Well, I have to go eliminate my name from anything on this site, sooo...
BYE!
