A long needed update
Mangamood: None
Music: Piano music
So, one would think that having wireless all the time would mean that I update regularly, but no. Sorry guys! But I have every intention of trying to be regular about it from now on. ^_^
So, Japan is not all I hoped it would be. Granted, I didn't really come up with many expectations, as I knew that no matter what they might be, they wouldn't be right. But I guess that I had hoped for something that wasn't there. Not sure what it was, but I'm sure that it simply wasn't. Ah, that sounds just like it came out of Alice in Wonderland. lol.
Q1. What do you think Japan should be/is like?
Q2. I'm sure I've asked this before, but if you lived in an anime/manga, which one would you live in?
A1. I think I thought it would have a lot more historical Japanese things about it, but it doesn't.
A2.Not sure... Tsubasa probably.
Well, ja ne for now! |

Hey, again
Music: Dido
Well, I'm updating again. And downloading a bunch of KH2 previews. Why? Good question: I kinda dought I'll end up getting it, as I don't have a PS2 and I'm getting a Gamecube for the new Zelda, but hey! I still like the series. OK, I'm being lazy and signing off now. Ja ne! |

Konbanwa
That's right; I'm here! Been here for about a month, now. And I'm busy as heck. So what have I discovered in my travils? Well, the Japanese have a fasionation with English, but they can't use it for didly squat. And Japanese boys are NOT like they are in the mangas- they're all bishonen, the pretty boy kind. No manly men in Japan. In fact, it's so bad, you can't tell the guys from the girls often. Yep. So yeah. And so far I've only found one dojo of any type. As for anime, it's EVERYWHERE, but only select ones. Naruto, One Piece, Pokemon (it's everywhere!! ahhh!!), Bleach, and these two little girl shojo animes that look like Sailormoon at the age of 8. To find anything else, you have to dig. Not nessisarally a lot, but some. The cool thing is, there is manga at every single bookstand, bookstore, grocery store you can imagine. There is an arcade in every mall/collection of stores. Very little DDR (which bums me out), but a lot of other things.
Oh, and last, but not least by any streach of the imagination: Hello Kitty owns Japan and simply rents it out to everyone else. I swear. She's everywhere- she has her own TP. Well, I haven't seen it, but I'm sure it's there, as TP is just as decoritive as your table napkins. She is in close compitition with Pokemon, though. They really are trying to give her a run for her money. Kick the crap outta Pikachu, Kitty-chan!! |

Sorry guys, I know I haven't updated in like, four months, and I'm probably no longer on anyone's friends list (which is ok), but I thought that I would just let everyone half interested in knowing that I'm leaving for Nagoya, Japan on October 3!!!!!! ^_^ I'm sooooo excited! I'll do another update when I get there, just so anyone who happens to see this post will know the plane didn't crash. Well, ja matta ne! |
